Analysis of the Influence of Operating Room Nursing Care Management on the Incidence Rate of Nosocomial Infection in Orthopedic Surgery Patients

Objective:To analysis the influence of operating room nursing care management on the incidence rate of nosocomial infection in orthopedic surgery patients.Methodology:Fifty six orthopedic surgery patients who admitted into the hospital between January to December 2018 were enrolled into this study and randomly divided into two groups,which were the control group(under general management)and the observation group(under the operating room nursing care management).Further,the incidence rate of nosocomial infections,the incidence rate of irregular nursing care phenomena,the satisfaction score of nursing care management,and the quality of life score were observed and recorded.Result:The incidence rate of nosocomial infection,the incidence rate of irregular nursing care management,the satisfaction score of nursing care management,and the quality of life score of the observation group were compared to that of the control group,and the result showed P<0.05,indicates the statistical significance between the data indicators.Conclusion:The use of operating room nursing care management in patients with orthopedic surgery has shown a significant effect.

Implementation of a risk management plan in a hospital operating room

A risk management program based on ASeNZS4360 risk management standards was developed and implemented in the operating room of Peking University Third Hospital.To accomplish this task,we developed a risk quantification matrix and a risk register form to identify potential risks in the operating room,and then implemented operating room policies designed to reduce or eliminate those risks.We also established a consultation mechanism and risk monitoring system designed to minimize risks to operation room nurses.Finally,we continuously seek to improve our operating room risk management capabilities,so we can continue to improve the quality of service provided and guarantee the safety of surgical patients.

Information Fusion for Process Acquisition in the Operating Room

The recognition of surgical processes in the operating room is an emerging research field in medical engineering. We present the design and implementation of a instrument localization system that is based on information fusion strategies to enhance its recognition power. The system was implemented using RFID technology. It monitored the presence of surgical tools in the interventional site and the instrument tray and combined the measured information by applying redundant, complementary, and cooperative information fusion strategy to achieve a more comprehensive model of the current situation. An evaluation study was performed that showed a correct classification rate of 97% for the system.

Application of Specialized Group Management in the Quality Control of Perioperative Nursing

Objective:To explore the role of specialized group management in the quality control of perioperative nursing.Methods:45 surgical nurses from our hospital were selected as the research subjects.Traditional operating room management was adopted from July 2019 to June 2020,and specialized group management was adopted from July 2020 to June 2021.The surgeon’s satisfaction,surgical nurses’core professional competence,and surgical patients’satisfaction were obtained through surveys and the results were analyzed.Results:Surgeon satisfaction before the implementation of specialized group management was significantly lower than after its implementation(P<0.05).Besides,surgical nurses’core professional competency scores before the implementation of specialized group management were significantly lower than after its implementation(P<0.05).Lastly,surgical patients’satisfaction before the implementation of specialized group management was significantly lower than after its implementation(P<0.05).Conclusion:Specialized group management helps to improve the quality of perioperative care and should be applied in clinical practice.

Establishment and implementation of safety check project for invasive procedures outside the operating room

Objective:This study aimed to describe the implementation of the surgical safety check policy and the surgical safety checklist for invasive procedures outside the operating room(OR)and evaluate its effectiveness.Methods:In 2017,to improve the safety of patients who underwent invasive procedures outside of the OR,the hospital quality and safety committee established the surgery safety check committee responsible for developing a new working plan,revise the surgery safety check policy,surgery safety check Keywords:Invasive procedures outside the operating room Safety management Surgical safety checklist Patient safety form,and provide training to the related staff,evaluated their competency,and implemented the updated surgical safety check policy and checklist.The study compared the data of pre-implementation(Apr to Sep 2017)and two post-implementation phases(Apr to Sep 2018,Apr to Sep 2019).It also evaluated the number of completed surgery safety checklist,correct signature,and correct timing of signature.Results:The results showed an increase in the completion rate of the safety checklist after the program implementation from 41.7%(521/1,249)to 90.4%(3,572/3,950),the correct rates of signature from 41.9%(218/521)to 99.0%(4,423/4,465),and the correct timing rates of signature from 34.4%(179/521)to 98.5%(4,401/4,465),with statistical significance(P<0.01).Conclusion:Implementing the updated surgery safety check significantly is a necessary and effective measure to ensure patient safety for those who underwent invasive procedures outside the OR.Implementing surgical safety checks roused up the clinical staff's compliance in performing safety checks,and enhanced team collaboration and communication.

Analysis of the Effect of Infection Control in Hospital Operation Room

Objective:To explore the implementation effect of nursing management in operating room for hospital infection control.Methods:100 cases of patients who received surgical treatment in our hospital from 2019 to 2020 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to different nursing management methods in operating room.Patients in the control group received routine nursing management services,while patients in the observation group received systematic and highquality comprehensive management services based on routine nursing management services.Results:The air colony count and hand colony count of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group.At the same time,the incidence probability of infection in the observation group was also significantly lower than that of the control group,with significant difference between the groups,with statistical value(P<0.05).Conclusions:In view of the occurrence of nosocomial infection,the implementation of high-quality operating room nursing service can effectively control it,reduce the probability of occurrence,and ensure the safety of patient treatment,which is worthy of clinical application.

Application effect of safety hazard self-examination mode in nursing risk management in hepatobiliary surgery

Objective:To explore the application effect of safety hazard self-examination mode in nursing risk management in hepatobiliary surgery.Methods:Sixty patients underwent hepatobiliary surgery in two tertiary hospitals in Shandong Province from May 2021 to October 2021.According to the different implementation time,they were divided into 30 cases in the observation group and 30 cases in the control group.The control group adopts routine risk assessment,and the observation group adopts the self-examination mode of potential safety hazards on the basis of routine risk assessment to compare the incidence of nursing risk between the two groups.Results:The observation group had a significantly lower incidence of safety hazards in terms of missing surgical instruments,lack of aseptic operation,and postoperative pressure injuries than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The appropriate hazard self-examination mode in the hepatobiliary operation room is of positive significance to improve the safety awareness of operating staff and the comprehensive ability of operating room nurses.

The Combination Operator of Information Sources by a New Expressive Matrix

The multi-sensors fusion refers to the synergistic combination of sensory data from multiple sensors to provide more accurate and reliable information. The potential benefits of the Fusion are multi-sensors’ redundancy and extra information acquired. The fusion of redundant information can reduce the overall uncertainty and thus helps to provide information specified more precisely. Several sensors providing redundant information can also be used to increase reliability in the case of error, omission or failure of sensors. The combination operators are exponential and are more complex in terms of calculation;the Dempster-Shafer operator is exponential for more than three (3) information sources?[1] [2]. Our work focuses on the definition of another formulation of this operation, and puts it in a matrix form to illuminate the computational complexity, more precision guaranty and a minimal execution time. We propose to use each information source in a form of a matrix, which contains 0 value in lines that do not contain the masses (m(Ai) = 0) or once m(Ai) is not null (m(Ai) ≠ 0). The use of this expressed matrix attempts to ameliorate Dempster-Shafer operator via initialing either a criterion or criteria sources’ solution, increasing the efficiency of the Dempster-Shafer operator and facilitates the combination among the sources. We evaluate our approach by conducting a case study for showing the effectiveness of this matrix.

Improving Supply Chain Strategies towards Mitigating the Effect of Crude Oil Theft and Pipeline Vandalism in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry: A Case Study of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)

Generically, SCM may be said to include all activities carried out to ensure proper functioning of the supply chain. The activities included in proper management of a supply chain broadly include logistics activities, planning and control of the flow of information and materials in a firm, management of relationships with other organizations and government intervention, However, crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism are established products supply chain disruptors in Nigeria which are rendering the task of running an efficient petroleum supply chain onerous. This paper aims to establish the importance of effective supply chain strategies for companies in the oil and gas industry with special focus on the Nigerian oil and gas sector and the strategies by which the state oil and gas corporation in this sector may mitigate disruptions to its supply chain. This study investigates the enhancement of supply chain strategies towards meeting the challenge of crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism, using the Nigerian National Corporation (NNPC) as a case study. Based on this study, data were collected from two sources: A summary of incident reports obtained from NNPC and an interview with personnel in the PPMC Department. Incident report refers to a report produced when accidents such as equipment failure, injury, loss of life, or fire occur at the work site. Content analysis is utilized to evaluate data obtained from interview responses, CBN financial stability reports, NDIC annual reports, circulars, banking supervision reports and implementation guidelines. The study found out that NNPC should endeavor to sustain its value chain and ward of pipeline vandals and crude oil thieves by engaging in community partnership, detailing security outfits to ensure its pipelines’ right of way and bridging. Concluded that the oil supply chain of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has been plagued by disruptions in the form of crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism which has had debilitating effects on its value.

基于磁性理念的护理管理模式在手术室管理及服务中的应用效果

目的 探讨基于磁性理念的护理管理模式在手术室管理及服务中的应用效果。方法 选取2020年2月至2023年2月于我院手术室工作的32名护理人员为研究对象,在2020年2月至2021年7月实施常规手术室管理模式(管理前),在2021年8月至2023年2月实施基于磁性理念的护理管理模式(管理后)。比较管理前、后护士的核心能力、工作积极性及手术医师对手术室护士的满意度与手术室护士对工作的满意度。结果 管理后,护士的围术期护理、人际关系、领导能力、专业发展、教育和咨询、批判性思维与科研、法律伦理实践评分高于管理前(P<0.05)。管理后,护士的积极举动、工作配合度评分高于管理前,消极举动评分低于管理前(P<0.05)。管理后,手术医师对手术室护士的满意度及手术室护士对工作的满意度均高于管理前(P<0.05)。结论 基于磁性理念的护理管理模式应用于手术室管理及服务中有助于提高护士各方面的能力及工作积极性,提升医师对护士的满意度及护士对工作的满意度,值得推广。

一体化门诊手术管理系统的设计与应用

目的解决医院门诊手术信息化程度低、尚未形成统一的全流程闭环管理体系的问题,以提高患者就医效率,提高医护人员工作效率。方法深入分析门诊手术业务需求,设计一体化门诊手术管理系统。系统设计采用模块化与微服务架构,并融合前沿开发技术,实现手术预约、排程、术前准备、术中记录、费用补收等各环节的有机整合,形成闭环管理。实现手术预约、项目审核、文书记录、费用补收及查询统计等系统功能。结果该系统的引入极大地提升了门诊手术效率,患者就诊平均时间由(12.82±0.88)min降低至(10.97±0.53)min,门诊手术补收费用的漏收率由13.22%降低至5.86%,且差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论该系统可满足门诊手术医护人员的工作需要,可显著提高医护人员工作效率、患者门诊就诊效率,提升患者就诊满意度。

标准化作业流程在消毒供应室质量管理中的应用效果分析

目的:探讨标准化作业流程在消毒供应室质量管理中的应用效果。方法:选取2023年1—6月徐州市中心医院消毒供应室2 500件器具和35名工作人员作为管理前组,选取2023年7—12月消毒供应室2 500件器具和35名工作人员作为管理后组。管理前组采用常规管理,管理后组采用标准化作业流程进行管理。比较两组管理质量。结果:管理后组消毒和灭菌合格率、物资发放准确率、物品清洁达标率、包装规范且准确率高于管理前组,管理漏洞发生率低于管理前组(P<0.05)。管理后组工作人员责任心、主动性、专业技能、操作能力评分高于管理前组(P<0.05)。结论:标准化作业流程在消毒供应室质量管理中的应用效果显著,能够提高消毒供应室的管理质量和工作效率。

消毒供应中心与手术室器械回收交接流程优化与管理实践

目的探讨消毒供应中心与手术室器械回收交接流程的优化及实践效果。方法以同济大学附属上海市肺科医院2023年5—6月收取的消毒器械作为分析对象。2023年5月收取胸腔镜手术所用的2238件胸腔镜器械为优化前组,实施优化前交接流程;2023年6月收取胸腔镜手术所用的2252件胸腔镜器械为优化后组,实施优化后交接流程。比较优化前组与优化后组器械交接工作质量和工作效率。结果优化前组器械数目不全22件、器械损坏11件、信息追溯系统执行缺失186件,优化后组器械数目不全0件、器械损坏2件、信息追溯系统执行缺失6件,优化后组器械交接工作质量优于优化前组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。2组器械交接时间比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。优化后组器械有效追回时间为(3.33±1.84)min,短于优化前组的(16.20±2.43)min,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论消毒供应中心与手术室手术器械交接流程优化后有助于提高器械交接工作质量和工作效率,缩短了胸腔镜器械周转时间。

基于临床危机管理视域下的手术室安全护理体系创新性实践研究

目的 构建基于临床危机管理视域下的手术室安全护理体系并对其实施效果进行分析。方法 构建基于临床危机管理视域下的手术室安全护理体系,采用电脑随机法抽取2021年1月至12月(实施前)和2022年1月至12月(实施后)各200例手术患者作为护理安全不良事件的调查对象。比较手术室护理安全核心制度合格情况、护理安全不良事件发生情况及手术室医护人员的工作质量。结果 实施后的消毒隔离、手卫生、患者安全核查、器械核查合格率均高于实施前(P<0.05)。实施后的护理安全不良事件总发生率略低于实施前,但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。实施后,手术室医护人员的手术准备及术前访视、备用器械管理、医护沟通及术中配合、护理文件书写评分明显高于实施前(P<0.05)。结论 基于临床危机管理视域下的手术室安全护理体系是创新手术室护理管理的有效方法,对规范护理行为、强化手术室安全管理及提高护理质量具有重要的应用价值。

精细化管理联合FTS手术室护理对胃癌根治术患者康复效果的影响

目的分析精细化管理联合快速康复外科(FTS)手术室护理用于接受胃癌根治术治疗患者中的效果。方法抽取2023年3月至2024年3月本院接受胃癌根治术治疗的患者94例,以随机信封法分组,接受常规手术室护理及管理的47例患者为对照组,接受精细化管理联合FTS手术室护理的47例患者为观察组。对比术后康复情况、并发症发生率、负性情绪评分、护理质量评分。结果观察组术后肛门排气时间、胃管拔除时间、下床活动时间、住院天数均比对照组短(P<0.05);观察组术后并发症发生率低于对照组(P<0.05);干预后,对比SAS及SDS评分,观察组均更低(P<0.05);观察组护理配合、护理文书书写、手术环境、器械管理评分均比对照组高(P<0.05)。结论对于接受胃癌根治术治疗的胃癌患者而言,对其采取精细化管理联合FTS手术室护理可降低术后并发症发生风险,促进患者术后尽快康复出院,并可改善患者负性情绪,提高护理质量。
