Isolating a Minimum Radius of the Universe Consistent with the Production of at Least 1 Unit of Entropy, at the Start of Inflation

We derive an expression for the production of at least 1 unit of entropy, which translates to a value of Planck... We begin by examining a general expression of entropy, and its links to a minimum radius of the universe. We derive an expression for the production of at least 1 unit of entropy, which translates to a value of Planck length in radii to 1000 times Planck radii, for the quantum bubble of space-time which depends upon, of all things, the initial Hubble expansion rate value. If the Hubble parameter has the value of 10^19 GeV, we see a minimum radial length of the Universe of about 1 billion times Planck length. If the Hubble parameter is of 10^19 GeV, the minimum radial length of the universe would be about one Planck length, which is surprising to put it mildly. The higher the initial temperate is, up to a point, the more likely the initial entropy is closer to the Causal barrier mentioned in an earlier publication by the author. 展开更多

This study focused on identification of mobilization initiatives for enhancing student’s enrolment into Vocational and Technical Education (VTE) programs in Nigerian Universities. Three research questions guided the study while three hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study was carried out in South East, Nigeria. Population for the study was 1340. Sample for the study was 753 obtained through proportionate (30%) stratified random sampling technique. A 38 item questionnaire was developed and used to collect data. Data obtained were analyzed using mean and standard deviation to answer research questions while t-test statistic was used to test hypotheses at probability of 0.05 level. It was found out by the study that 38 mobilization initiatives could be used to enhance students’ enrolment into Vocational and Technical Education Programs in Nigerian Universities. It was therefore recommended that the identified mobilization initiatives be implemented by relevant stakeholders to enhance secondary school students’ enrollment into VTE programs in Nigerian Universities. 展开更多

Data services,knowledge services,and information services are the core service elements of university libraries in the context of the Double First-Class Initiative.Combined with the current situation of insufficient overall service capacity of libraries,this paper proposed strategies and implementation paths for optimizing the service system from three aspects:the construction of the professional qualification system for librarians,the establishment of post institutions,and the construction of library culture.Long-term path:putting library human resource management into the legal track,taking the lead in local legislation,and promoting the construction of library legislation and professional qualification certification system;optimizing the personnel system,implementing hierarchical management and classified assessment for professional librarians and auxiliary librarians.Short-term path:intensive post allocation,namely,assigning the core strength in the core post,and tackling the temporary major work combining multiple forces in the form of a"working group";building an open knowledge service ecosystem,accelerate the cross-border integration of libraries and other organizations,and striving to build the core competitiveness of libraries. 展开更多

The notoriety of the shortage of qualified professionals in the engineering segment to meet the existing projects and also the future ones is worrying the academic community. These challenges show how the lack of appropriate courses and low expenses with incentives to research and extension programs can affect the formation of the future engineer. Therefore, universities have the mission to develop teaching, research and extension, offering to the students new opportunities for diverse technical training, scientific and humanist formation. It is noted, however, that such activities in many engineering courses, especially scientific research, are not being prioritized by the universities. In light of this, the present paper aims to register measure and evaluate the participation of the students in scientific initiation in the four engineering courses of the Faculty of Engineering of the Minas Gerais State University. Sticking to the disparities presented by the four courses studied, in relation to the participation in research projects, the results showed a greater engagement of students of Environmental Engineering and Mining Engineering courses regarding the other engineering courses. In addition, a better divulgation and a greater involvement of teachers in projects were identified as the main recurring challenges to the access in scientific research by the students of this institution. 展开更多

The study object is the angular output velocity of the drive shaft which is made up of two series-wound cross universal joints. We have deduced the function relation between the angular output velocity and initiative input angle of the drive shaft with double cross universal joints that is based on the calculation formula of the angular output velocity of a single cross universal joint, and by analyzing the relation between the two input angles. By using this function relation, the constant velocity condition of the drive shaft with double cross universal joints" is verified. The step-by-step searching algorithm is adopted to obtain the optimal phase angle that leads to the minimum fluctuate index of the angular output velocity in the vary velocity condition. At the same time, we worked out the maximal and minimum value of the angular output velocity, and their initiative input angle. The correctness of the function of the angular output velocity and the step-by-step search algorithm are verified by an ADAMS simulation example. 展开更多

Hypersphere World-Universe Model (WUM) envisions Matter carried from the Universe into the World from the fourth spatial dimension by Dark Matter Particles (DMPs). Luminous Matter is a byproduct of Dark Matter (DM) self-annihilation. WUM introduces Dark Epoch (spanning from the Beginning of the World for 0.45 billion years) and Luminous Epoch (ever since for 13.77 billion years). Big Bang discussed in Standard Cosmology (SC) is, in our view, transition from Dark Epoch to Luminous Epoch due to Rotational Fission of Overspinning DM Supercluster’s Cores and self-annihilation of DMPs. WUM solves a number of physical problems in SC and Astrophysics through DMPs and their interactions: Angular Momentum problem in birth and subsequent evolution of Galaxies and Extrasolar systems;Fermi Bubbles—two large structures in gamma-rays and X-rays above and below Galactic center;Coronal Heating problem in solar physics—temperature of Sun’s corona exceeding that of photosphere by millions of degrees;Cores of Sun and Earth rotating faster than their surfaces;Diversity of Gravitationally-Rounded objects in Solar system and their Internal Heating. Model makes predictions pertaining to Rest Energies of DMPs, proposes New Type of their Interactions. 美国司法部发起并主导的“中国行动计划”名义上结束两年多了,但其对各国之间的国际交流与合作产生的破坏性负面影响仍然在持续,不仅严重阻碍着中美科技人文领域的人才交流与合作,还进一步诱发着世界范围内科技人文领域的“寒蝉效应”... 美国司法部发起并主导的“中国行动计划”名义上结束两年多了,但其对各国之间的国际交流与合作产生的破坏性负面影响仍然在持续,不仅严重阻碍着中美科技人文领域的人才交流与合作,还进一步诱发着世界范围内科技人文领域的“寒蝉效应”。我国现行的高校国际学术科研合作模式、科技人才培养和人才引进方式势必受到“中国行动计划”严重影响。面对挑战,高校应紧跟国家对外政策指向,通过加强科技合作和海外人才引进的合规性引导、拓宽国际交流的渠道等方式,积极稳妥地开展国际交流合作工作。 展开更多
