As a traditional object in a Chinese study it can be made in any shape or design and serves both a practical and decorative function. Unearthed from kilns of the Yuan Dynasty in Longquan, Zhejiang Province in 1956, this 9.3 cm high and 17.3 cm long porcelain inkstone water-dropper vividly depicts’a boat.
