Research on the Impact of BYD Group’s Green Innovation on Corporate Financial Performance under the Background of“Dual Carbon”

With the increasingly severe global climate change problem,the“dual carbon”goals(peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality)have become a common focus of international attention.The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly emphasizes the need to accelerate the green transformation of development models,implement comprehensive strategies for frugal development,support the growth of green and low-carbon industries,and promote the concept of green consumption.At the same time,“Made in China 2025”also elaborates on the strategic concept of innovation-driven and green development centered,and strives for breakthroughs in key industries such as new energy vehicles.In such a macro environment,adopting green innovation measures by enterprises not only contributes to ecological protection but also has an undeniable impact on their economic performance and overall value.This article takes BYD Group as a case study to explore in detail the positive effects of green innovation on its economic performance.We first systematically organized and analyzed BYD’s specific practices in green innovation;Then,by examining three key financial indicators,BYD’s current financial situation was analyzed in depth;On this basis,combined with research data,the positive impact of green innovation on BYD’s financial performance was revealed;Finally,based on the analysis results,relevant suggestions are proposed to provide reference for the sustainable development of enterprises in the context of“dual carbon.”

Influence of Knowledge Heterogeneity on Innovation Performance in Innovation Teams——Based on the Mediating Role of Knowledge Sharing

To break through the restrictions of traditional organizational forms,systems,and mechanisms and quickly respond to the innovative development requirements of CASC,the innovation team has gradually become a crucial organizational form within CASC.One of the biggest differences between the innovation team and traditional orga-nizational structure lies in knowledge heterogeneity.Existing studies present different conclusions on the relationship between knowledge heterogeneity and innovation performance,which should be analyzed according to specific situ-ations.Therefore,this paper takes the innovation team of CASC as the research object to conduct an empirical study on 186 team members,propose conceptual models and hypotheses,and study the relationship among knowledge heterogeneity,knowledge sharing,and innovation performance.The research results indicate that the two dimensions of knowledge heterogeneity—explicit knowledge heterogeneity and implicit knowledge heterogeneity—are beneficial to innovation performance when they are to a great extent.Knowledge sharing plays a partially mediating role between knowledge heterogeneity and collaborative innovation performance.It reveals the influence of knowledge heterogene-ity on innovation performance in the innovation team of CASC,aiming to provide a certain reference for the establish-ment and development of CASC’s innovation team.

Research on the Impact of Independent R&D and Collaborative Innovation on Economic Performance in China’s pharmaceutical Industry

Objective To study the impact of independent R&D and collaborative innovation on economic performance in the pharmaceutical industry.Methods A panel regression model was established by selecting the panel data of China’s pharmaceutical industry from 2009 to 2019.Results and Conclusion Independent R&D and collaborative innovation of the pharmaceutical industry in eastern,central and western regions of China had a positive effect on economic performance.Besides,the promotion effect of independent R&D was greater than that of collaborative innovation.The positive driving effect of economic performance is the largest among the three regions,followed by the central and western regions.The collaborative innovation has the greatest positive effect on economic performance in the central region,followed by the eastern and western regions.

The Impact of Sustainable Development Strategies on Corporate Performance

Enterprises must develop and implement effective strategic measures to achieve sustainable development.This entails evaluating corporate performance,understanding the impact of sustainable development strategies on corporate performance,and implementing such strategies.The article proposes eight critical countermeasures to foster harmony and sustainable development among humanity,nature,the economy,and society:innovation-driven initiatives,green development practices,social responsibility initiatives,talent cultivation programs,collaborative cooperation efforts,sound financial management,brand-building endeavors,and effective information management.

Research on the Internal Talent Training Path and Performance Evaluation Mechanism of New R&D Institutions in Zhejiang Province

New research and development(R&D)institutions are an important part of the national innovation system,playing an important role in promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.In recent years,new R&D institutions have gradually become the driving force of innovation-driven development in China.Taking new R&D institutions in Zhejiang Province as the research object,this paper studies the internal talent training path and performance evaluation mechanism of new R&D institutions in Zhejiang Province by using the literature research method,comparison method,case verification method,and other methods.The investigation results show that there are problems such as lack of material and spiritual support and neglect of the absorption of local talents in the internal talent training,and there are problems such as unclear standards,insufficient data,and opaque processes in the performance evaluation mechanism,which greatly affect the establishment and improvement of the performance evaluation mechanism.Given the above problems,this paper puts forward a forward-looking,oriented,flexible,and compatible talent training path and performance evaluation mechanism,hoping to optimize the effective internal talent training path of new R&D institutions,improve the evaluation performance,and promote healthy development of new R&D institutions in Zhejiang Province.

Could more innovation output bring better financial performance?The role of financial constraints

Innovation scholars highlight the economic benefits to firms,while research findings on the relationship between innovation output and economic returns remain mixed.In this study,we develop the profiting from innovation(PFI)framework and address the crucial role of financial constraints in the relationship between innovation output and financial performance.We argue that the liability of newness differentiates firms’financial performance during the commercialization of innovation,leading to a U-shaped relationship between firms’innovation output and financial performance.We further document the moderating impact of individual financial constraints(IFC)and market-based financial constraints(MFC)on this curvilinear relationship.Empirical tests based on the 142,972 firm-year observations of the multi-source dataset of Chinese manufacturing firms from 1999–2009 support our hypotheses.The additional analysis shows that non-state-owned enterprises and small and medium enterprises benefit more from the synergistic effect of reductions of IFC and MFC than state-owned enterprises and large firms.Our study enriches the literature of the PFI framework by uncovering the mechanism between innovation output and economic returns where financial constraints play an essential role.To the best of our knowledge,we are among the first to investigate the processes and mechanisms between innovation output and financial performance,generating novel insights for business practitioners and policymakers.

The Relation between Knowledge Heterogeneity and Knowledge Innovation Performance of R &D Team

Using a sample of 252 R & D teams in Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen, the researcher empirically examines the relationship between knowledge heterogeneity and knowledge innovation performance, the mediating role of knowledge share. Results indicate that knowledge heterogeneity is positively related to knowledge share, the same with knowledge share and knowledge innovation performance. This paper analyzes the results comprehensively and makes recommendations from multiple perspectives including building the knowledge heterogeneous steams, advocating the collaborative spirit, building a knowledge shared platform, improving the organizational structure, and grooming the communication.

Operational Performance Evaluation of Corn Processing Industry Technological Innovation Alliance Based on Survey Data in Heilongjiang Province

This paper selected the corn processing industry technology innovation alliance in Heilongjiang Province as the research object, evaluated the operational performance of the alliance by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methods. AHP empirical results showed that the satisfaction of information communication and the satisfaction of the management process were the weakest. And the order from high to low on the level of indicators of the impact for the alliance was the result of alliance operations and the process of alliance operations, the behavioral attitude of alliance members. Besides, the results of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation showed that the operational performance of the corn processing industry technology innovation alliance in Heilongjiang Province was in the general level.

Global Value Chain Embeddedness,Knowledge Spillovers,and Clustered Firms' Innovation Performance

Empirical evidence of the effects of global value chain( GVC) embeddedness on clustered firms' innovation is presented in this paper. The intermediary roles of the two types of knowledge spillover( explicit and implicit) in GVC embeddedness and clustered firms' innovation are considered, and the effects of structure embeddedness,relationship embeddedness,and acknowledgement embeddedness on clustered firms' innovation are examined. Analysis is based on the sample of 134 export-oriented firms from the Shaoxing industrial cluster in Zhejiang province of China. Results show that although GVC embeddedness is associated with high use of external knowledge sources,clustered firms' innovation is promoted indirectly through explicit knowledge spillover. Intrinsic connections exist among the different dimensions of GVC embeddedness,that is,structure embeddedness not only directly improves relationship embeddedness but also indirectly improves acknowledgement embeddedness through relationship embeddedness.

Effects of Team Structure on Innovation Performance： An Empirical Study

Teamwork is gaining increasing attention in a broader management research. In addition to previous research on the relationship between team structure and innovation performance, this study draws from an interesting experience-based theory advanced by Kelley and Littman （2005）, which examines teams from design thinking perspective, and tests its contributions and effects on team＇s innovation performance. According to Kelley and Littman any team should include the following team roles： The anthropologist, the experimenter, the cross-pollinator, the hurdler, the collaborator, the director, the experience architect, the set designer, the storyteller, and the caregiver. We develop theoretical logics to explain how team structure that includes these key team roles and competences lead to a better innovation performance, and propose pertinent hypotheses. Experimental-empirical research and quantitative analysis were used in the study. The study conducted multiple experiments on three samples： a group of foreign entrepreneurship students, a group of technical students, and an additional group of randomly selected individuals, aged between 20 and 58, with diverse backgrounds. A special approach was implemented and a new instrument was developed to evaluate individuals in teams. While the results show that team that possess the major competences proposed by Kelley and Littman are more innovative, preliminary results also show that not all team roles are equally important. Moreover, team roles should be allocated equally among members for better collaboration, member satisfaction, and quick response, and within one team, one prevailing personality is optimal in terms of innovativeness. We discuss the implications of our findings for future research and managerial practice.

Innovation Capability and Export Performance of Turkish Export Firms

In today＇s competitive environment the key element is the differentiation of business which will lead to success. Especially in international markets where there＇s much more intense competition, it is more important for businesses to enter with innovations that make a difference to their consumers. Innovation is also important for competitive export-oriented production in globalization. In global competition, innovation is the key factor for sustainable success. Increases in the efficiency, profitability of firms make it possible to enter new markets and extend present markets by obtaining advantage of competition. In order to determine accurate strategies, the connection between innovation and exports must be understood better. The aim of this study is to determine the innovation capability and export performance of Turkish export firms. Another aim is to examine the relationship between firm characteristics and innovation capability. Innovation capability of export firms is measured by INNOVSCALE which was developed by Vicente, Abrantes, and Teixeira （2015）. Export performance is measured by APEV scale which was developed by Lages, Lages, and Lages （2005）. The study uses data collected from 83 firms located in Kayseri. Results obtained by using SPSS indicate that there is a positive relationship between innovation capability and export performance. The results of the ANOVA analysis, innovation capability differ in terms of firm size and export earnings. Innovation capability does not differ in terms of sector, operating years, share of export earnings in the whole revenues, exporting periods, or internationalization levels.

Will Performance Evaluation Boost SOE Innovation?

There are two opposing views over the necessity of privatization for SOEs. While some believe that privatization is the only solution to SOE inefficiency, others contend that privatization will lead to serious loss of state assets without resolving the problem. This paper examined how performance evaluation system contributed to the innovation and profitability of central SOEs after the implementation of the revised Interim Measures for Assessment of the Operational Performance of Persons in Charge of Central Enterprises in 2009. Using this revision as a natural experiment, this paper conducted a difference-indifference analysis and discovered a significant improvement in the innovation of central SOEs after the implementation of the new policy as compared with private firms not affected by this system. Moreover, the revised performance evaluation system significantly improved the marginal contribution of innovation to corporate value. The above test result indicates that SOEs may become more efficient solely by altering executive incentives without privatization. In this sense, privatization may not be the only solution to SOE inefficiency. This paper offers theoretical insights on the controversies regarding SOE privatization and helps enrich relevant literature on corporate incentives and innovation.

Improve the Innovation Performance of J pharmaceutial Through the Adjustment of Innovation Strategy Driven by Digtil Economy

This thesis reviews and fully understands the current situation of J pharmaceutical according to a empirical research,which has been carried out by corresponding investigation and research on the design of questionnaires for Jingfeng Pharmaceutical's investment in innovation resources,the construction of innovation capabilities,digital transformation,innovation environment adaptation and facing,and innovation performance improvement.After research,it is found that there is a lot of space for improvement in the adaptation and facing of the innovation environment of J pharmaceutical,and the construction of innovation ability is also a short board.The digital transformation needs to be broken through urgently.Enhance J pharmaceutical innovation ability,comprehensively build J pharmaceutical innovation ability of culturally,technically,and managerially;Accelerate digital transformation,and then continue to increase the input of key resources,especially the training and introduction of talents,and key facilities.In order to adapt to and face the rapidly changing market environment under the digital economy,J pharmaceutical can improve the corporate performance.

Collaborative Performance Analysis and the Establishement of Main Body of Agricutlural Technology Innovation

Relying on the relevant data from China Statistical Yearbook and Chinese Rural Statistical Yearbook,the coolabarative performance of main body of agricutlural technology innovation is evaluated by taking quaternary-parties innovation body as the sujects and by establishing the index system from the perspectives of input and output.The results show serious dislocation of main body and bad collabrative performance.On the basis,the quaternary-parties motivation system cocerning agricutlural enterpises,agricutlural science and technology acanamy,rural hosueholds and governments is established.The system is capable of integrating market,sciencetific reserch and diffusion collection into a whole part and solving the seperation of agricutlural innovation supply and demand.

A Meta-analysis of the Effects of Firm’s Social Capital on Innovation Performance

Despite a surge of studies examining the impact of firm’s social capital on the innovation performance,empirical research shows controversial results.To resolve this problem,this paper conducted a meta-analysis to restudy the impact of the firm’s social capital and its three dimensions on innovation performance based on the previous empirical research results of independent samples.This paper also explored some moderators affecting this relationship from culture,industry,firm and methodology.The results indicated that the firm’s social capital and its three-dimension had positive impact on innovation performance.At the same time,the age of the firm and the cultural context can also affect the impact of social capital on innovation performance to a large extent.Based on these findings,this paper developed recommendations for future research.

Relationship Between Firm’s Social Capital and Innovation Performance:A Meta-Analysis

Despite a surge of studies examining the impact of firm’s social capital on the innovation performance,empirical research shows controversial results.To resolve this problem,this paper conducted a meta-analysis to restudy the relationship between firm’s social capital and innovation performance based on the empirical research results of 63 independent samples.This paper also identified some moderators affecting this relationship.The results indicated that the firm’s social capital-innovation performance link was positive and significant(r=0.363),and the age of the firm and the cultural context affected the impact of social capital on innovation performance to a large extent.Based on these findings,this paper developed recommendations for future research.

How Will Different Types of Regional Innovation Policy and Their Mixes Affect the Innovation Performance of Enterprises: An Empirical Study Based on Shenzhen

Evaluating the functional boundary of different types of innovation policy instruments and their mixes on innovation performance of enterprises is an important but unresolved key issue.This paper,based on the systematically carding the quantization of 155 innovation policies issued by Shenzhen governmental departments from 2011 to 2019,analyzed the characteristics from different types of innovation instruments and their mixes.The results show that Shenzhen governmental has constantly enriched innovation policy instruments for encouraging enterprise innovation,but there are structural unbalances in the issued innovation policy manifested as follows:firstly supply-side policy and environmental-side policy were promulgated more than demand-side policy;secondly the specific instruments employed by Shenzhen governmental were also uneven in different type of innovation policy,like supply-side policy focused on the instruments of government procurement and R&D outsourcing,demand-side policy employed human resource training,innovation infrastructure and fiscal support most,and environmental-side policy main used target planning,intellectual property protection and financial support.This study expands and understanding empirical implementation of different reginal innovation policy instruments,and has implication for Shenzhen governmental in improving the applicability ability of policies in the enterprises innovation.

Inbound Open Innovation, Business Model Design and Firm Innovation Performance

Through systematic literature review,this study constructs a relationship model of the impact of inbound open innovation on firm innovation performance,and introduced two-dimensional business model design(novelty and efficiency)as mediation variables.It is preliminary confirmed theoretically that inbound open innovation has a positive impact on firm innovation performance,and the rationality of business model playing a mediation role in the relationship between inbound open innovation and innovation performance.Through questionnaire survey and empirical analysis,it is concluded that inbound open innovation has a positive impact on firm innovation performance;Two-dimensional business model design(novelty and efficiency)play a completely positive mediation role in the relationship between inbound open innovation and innovation performance.Based on these findings,this paper developed recommendations for future research.

Investigating the mediating role of innovation capabilities in relationship between strategic orientation and market performance: a case study of Tabriz State Hospitals

Introduction:Innovation is the creation of new products,services,processes or systems that first begin with a thought and is put into operation after successful implementation.This research aims to investigate the mediating role of innovation capabilities in relationship between strategic orientation and market performance in Tabriz state hospitals.Methods:This study is an applied research in terms of the purpose and it is a descriptive-correlative research in terms of methodology.The statistical population involves the staff of Tabriz state hospitals consisting 362 individuals who were selected randomly.A questionnaire was used to collect data from statistical sample.The strategic orientation was operationally defined based on Laek Cannon et al.’s(2011)model,innovation capabilities were defined based on Jimens-Jimens and Sanz Vale’s(2010)model and market performance was defined based on Hajipour et al.’s model(2012).Results:The results showed that the value of CHI SQUAR/DF for the estimated model is 0.817 which indicates the proper fitness of the model.Considering the standardized factor loads and meaningfulness coefficient it can be suggested that strategic orientation affects market performance with the mediating role of innovation capabilities.Meanwhile,the effect of strategic orientation and innovation capabilities on the market performance was confirmed based on the linear regression results.Conclusion:Innovation capabilities play an active role in the relationship between strategic orientation and market performance.Therefore,senior management of organizations needs to work to improve their performance by supporting the ability to innovate and formulating and implementing strategic orientations.

Construction and Research of Evaluation Indicator System for Technological Innovation Performance

In view of sci-tech innovation and innovation-driving requirements of Chinese President Xi Jinping,it is necessary to establish a complete evaluation indicator system for technological innovation performance in Guizhou Province,to accurately evaluate development situation of technological innovation in Guizhou Province,promote close connection of science and technology with economy,and boost rapid development of national economy. In Guizhou Province,there is still no complete evaluation indicator system for technological innovation performance, so it is impossible to comprehensively reflect its technological innovation situation. On the basis of analyzing regional technological innovation and development of Guizhou Province,this paper presents evaluation principles,analysis framework and evaluation methods and gives countermeasures and recommendations for evaluation indicator system for technological innovation performance in Guizhou Province.
