ON THE ASYMPTOTICAL BEHAVIOUR OF SOLUTIONS OF A CLASS OF NONLINEAR CONTROL SYSTEMS

In this paper, the asymptotical behaviour solutions of a class of nonlinear control systems are studied. By establishing infinite integrals along solutions of the system and drawing support from a LaSalle's invariance principle of integral form, criteria of dichotomy and global asymptotical behaviour of solutions are obtained. This work is an improvement and further extension of research methods and results of A. S. Aisagaliev.

Dynamic response of axially moving Timoshenko beams: integral transform solution

The generalized integral transform technique （GITT） is used to find a semianalytical numerical solution for dynamic response of an axially moving Timoshenko beam with clamped-clamped and simply-supported boundary conditions, respectively. The implementation of GITT approach for analyzing the forced vibration equation eliminates the space variable and leads to systems of second-order ordinary differential equations （ODEs） in time. The MATHEMATICA built-in function, NDSolve, is used to numerically solve the resulting transformed ODE system. The good convergence behavior of the suggested eigenfunction expansions is demonstrated for calculating the transverse deflection and the angle of rotation of the beam cross-section. Moreover, parametric studies are performed to analyze the effects of the axially moving speed, the axial tension, and the amplitude of external distributed force on the vibration amplitude of axially moving Timoshenko beams.

PATH INTEGRAL SOLUTION OF NONLINEAR DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF STRUCTURE UNDER WIND EXCITATION

A numerical scheme for the nonlinear behavior of structure under wind excitation is investigated. With the white noise filter of turbulent-wind fluctuations, the nonlinear motion equation of structures subjected to wind load was modeled as the Ito＇ s stochastic differential equation. The state vector associated with such a model is a diffusion process. A continuous linearization strategy in the time-domain was adopted. Based on the solution series of its stochastic linearization equations, the formal probabilistic density of the structure response was developed by the path integral technique. It is shown by the numerical example of a guyed mast that compared with the frequency-domain method and the time-domain nonlinear analysis, the proposed approach is highlighted by high accuracy and effectiveness. The influence of the structure non-linearity on the dynamic reliability assessment is also analyzed in the example.

Global Existence and Decay of Solution to Parabolic-Parabolic Keller-Segel Model in R^(d)

We consider the global existence and decay of integral solutions to the parabolic-parabolic Keller-Segel system in d-dimension.On the one hand,by Banach fixed point theorem and some properties of heat kernel,we prove the local existence and the global existence of integral solutions for the different initial data under some conditions that involve the size of the initial data.On the other hand,in the case of global solutions,we obtain their optimal time decay by Gronwall’s lemma.

RESTRICTED NONLINEAR APPROXIMATION AND SINGULAR SOLUTIONS OF BOUNDARY INTEGRAL EQUATIONS

This paper studies several problems , which are potentially relevant for the construction of adaptive numerical schemes. First, biorthogonal spline wavelets on [0,1] are chosen as a starting point for characterizations of functions in Besom spaces B(?)(0,1) with 0<σ<∞ and (1+σ)-1<γ<∞. Such function spaces are known to be related to nonlinear approximation. Then so called restricted nonlinear approximation procedures with respect to Sobolev space norms are considered. Besides characterization results Jackson type estimates for various tree-type and tresholding algorithms are investigated. Finally known approximation results for geometry induced singularity functions of boundary integeral equations are combined with the characterization results for restricted nonlinear approximation to show Besov space regularity results.

EQUATION OF MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS AND OTHER AREAS OF APPLICATION: A CLASSICAL INTEGRABLE SYSTEM AND THE INVOLUTIVE REPRESENTATION OF SOLUTIONS OF THE HIGHER ORDER KAUP-NEWELL EQUATION

Under the constrained condition induced by the eigenfunction expresson of the potential (u, v)T = (-[A2q, q], [A2p, p])T = f (q, p), the spatial part of the Lax pair of the Kaup-Newell equation is non linearized to be a completely integrable system (R2N, Adp AND dq, H = H-1) with the Hamiltonian H-1 = -[A3q, p]-1/2[A2p, p][A2q, q]. while the nonlinearization of the time part leads to its N-involutive system {H(m)}. The involutive solution of the compatible fsystem (H-1), (H(m)) is mapped by into the solution of the higher order Kaup-Newell equation.

THE INTEGRAL AS A FUNCTION OF THE UPPER LIMIT AND AN ANALYTICAL SOLUTION TO PLANE STRAIN DRAWING AND EXTRUSION

A kinematically admissible velocity field which is different from Avitzur's is established in Cartesian Coordinates. An upper-bound analytical solution to strip drawing andextrusion is obtained by using the integral as a function of the upper limit in this paper.

Entropy Formulation for Triply Nonlinear Degenerate Elliptic-Parabolic-Hyperbolic Equation with Zero-Flux Boundary Condition

In this note, we investigated existence and uniqueness of entropy solution for triply nonlinear degenerate parabolic problem with zero-flux boundary condition. Accordingly to the case of doubly nonlinear degenerate parabolic hyperbolic equation, we propose a generalization of entropy formulation and prove existence and uniqueness result without any structure condition.

CONTROLLABILITY OF NEUTRAL FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH INFINITE DELAY

In this article, we give sufficient conditions for controllability of some partial neutral functional differential equations with infinite delay. We suppose that the linear part is not necessarily densely defined but satisfies the resolvent estimates of the Hille-Yosida theorem. The results are obtained using the integrated semigroups theory. An application is given to illustrate our abstract result.

On the Exceedance Probabilities of Extreme Drift Motions of An Offshore Structure

The response statistics of a compliant offshore structure excited by slowly varying wave drift forces is calculated by use of a numerical path integral solution method. The path integral solution is based on the Ganss-Legendre interpolation scheme, and the values of the response probability density are obtained at the Gauss quadrature points in sub-intervals. It is demonstrated that a distinct advantage of the path integral solution is that the joint probability density of the response displacement and velocity is one of the by products of the calculations. This makes it possible to calculate the mean level up-crossing rates, which provides estimates of the exceedance probabilities of specified response levels for given time periods.

PERTURBED NONLINEAR EVOLUTION INCLUSIONS IN BANACH SPACES

In this paper we discuss tLhe existence results of the integral solutions to nonlinear evolution inclusion: u' (t) ∈ Au(t) +F(t,u(t)), where A is m-dissipative and F is a set valued map in separable Banach spaces, and extend the relative results in references.

ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR OF NON-AUTONOMOUS DISSIPATIVE SYSTEMS IN HILBERT SPACES

This paper dwells upon the asymptotic behavior, as t→∞, of the integral solution u(t) to the nonhaear evolution equation u'(t) ∈A(t)u(f) + g(t),t≥s,u(s) =xo∈D(A(a)),where {A(t)}t≥s is a family m-ipative operator in a Hlilbert space H,and g∈L(loc)(0,∞;H). We prove that converges weakly, as t→∞, uniforluly in h≥0, which applies that u(t) is weak convergence if and only if u(t) is weakly asymptotically regular i.e., u(t + h) -u(f) →0 for h≥0.

Nonlinear analysis of slow drift extreme responses of a compliant offshore structure

This paper first demonstrates that the accuracy and efficiency of the method of numerical simulation often used is not very high in predicting the slow drift surge extreme responses of a compliant offshore structure. Next, the slow drift surge extreme responses of the structure are analyzed via the path integral solution racy and efficiency of the PIS （PIS） method, and the accumethod is found to be higher than those of the numerical simulation method. A compound PIS （CPIS） method is first proposed in this article to further improve the efficiency of the path integral solution method, and the accuracy and efficiency of the CPIS method is validated.

Nonlinear Riemann-Hilbert Problem for the First Order Elliptic System with the General Form

Nonlinear boundary problem for a class of the first order elliptic partial differential system with the general form are studied in this paper.And the equivalent nonlinear singular integral equations are established.Then the existence theorem of solution of the problem are also obtained.

Determination of Standard Molar Enthalpies of Formation of Complexes of Rare Earth Bromides with Glycine

The integral heat of solution of REBr 3·3Gly·3H 2O(RE=La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy and Y; Gly is glycine) in water, REBr 3· n H 2O(RE=La, Ce and Pr, n =7; RE=Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy and Y, n =6) in aqueous glycine solution and glycine in water have been measured calorimetrically at 298 15±0 15 K. By means of a thermochemical cycle suggested in this paper, the standard molar enthalpies of formation of REBr 3·3Gly·3H 2O have been obtained and their lattice energies have been calculated.

THE CURVILINEARINTEGRAL PROBLEMS TO VELOCITY FIELD FOR DRAWING THROUGH PARABOLIC DIES

n this paper with Von Karmanis basic assumptions a kinematically admissible continuous velocity field has been established to drawing through parabolic dies (or called trumpet dies). Then by. using the curvilinear and the integral as a function of the upper limit an upper bound analytical solution of the drawing stress is obtained.
