The use of traditional Chinese medicine internally and externally combined with auricular acupuncture point bloodletting in the treatment of vulvar leukoplakia

Vulvar leukoplakia refers to the chronic disease of degeneration and hypopigmentation of the skin and mucous membrane of the vulva with unbearable itching in women, seriously affecting the quality of life. The main treatment of western medicine for vulvar leukoplakia is the external use of glucocorticoids or estrogen, resulting to the high recurrence rate and side effects. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has the characteristics of the overall concept and dialectical treatment with a variety of ways. Literature review in recent years found that the treatment of TCM decoction combined with external therapies, such as external fumigation, acupuncture and other treatments, or the combination of TCM decoction and external western medicine hormone ointment, can obtain good effects in vulvar leukoplakia. During the clinical practice, we found that the use of TCM internally and externally combined with auricular acupuncture point bloodletting was highly effective with unique advantages in the treatment of vulvar leukoplakia, providing the ideas guidance for clinicians.

Therapeutic Effect of Oral Administration and External Therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine on Cervical Tuberculous Lymphadenopathy

Objective:To analyze the clinical effect and value of oral administration and external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine for treatment of cervical tuberculous lymphadenopathy.Methods:A total of 56 patients with cervical tuberculous lymphadenopathy admitted to our hospital from January 1 to January 2018 were recruited.By using double-blind method,the patients were divided into control group(n=28)and experimental group(n=28).Control group comprised of patients with conventional anti-tuberculosis treatment,while the experimental group comprised of patients treated with oral administration and external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine.Total effective rate,incidence of complication and level of T lymphocyte subsets were compared between the two groups of cervical tuberculous lymphadenopathy patients.Results:Post-treatment data of total effective rate,complication rate,CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+of the experimental group were compared with the control group.P<0.05;statistical analysis showed statistical significance.Post-treatment data of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+of both control and experimental groups were compared with pre-treatment data.P<0.05;statistical analysis showed statistical significance.Conclusion:Oral administration and external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine possesses significant effect in treatment of cervical tuberculous lymphadenopathy.

Professor Renting Li's Combination of Internal and External Treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Treating Radiation Enteritis

Radiotherapy is a common treatment for abdominal and pelvic malignancies with bone metastases.However,some patients develop radiation enteritis(RE)during the treatment or 2 months or more after the treatment,which seriously affects their quality of life.At present,the curative effect of western medicine is poor.Professor Renting Li believes that radiation kills tumor cells but at the same time,it damages the healthy Qi of the human body.Radiation causes heat and poison to accumulate in the intestinal tract,consumes and hurts Yin fluid,bums the vein,leads to deficiency of healthy Qi and poor detoxification,as well as cause blood stasis after a period of time.All these result in the combination of heat,blood stasis,and poison,manifesting as abdominal pain,diarrhea,mucus in stools,purulent and bloody stools,etc.Therefore,Professor Renting Li proposed the use of traditional Chinese medicine retention enema combined with oral traditional Chinese medicine to reduce symptoms,remove toxins,and improve the quality of life of patients.

An investigation of the influence of intestinal flora in external traditional Chinese medicine therapy

External therapy,which has been used for millennia to treat disease,has now become the newest member of complementary and alternative therapies.A growing number of clinical studies and animal experiments have shown that external therapy exerts a positive effect on the intestinal flora.In this paper,we review the research related to external therapy on various systemic diseases and focus on changes in the intestinal flora.We found that studies on external therapy are dominated by acupuncture and tuina,primarily aimed at the treatment of digestive and neurological diseases.However,the deeper mechanism of regulation of the intestinal flora by external therapy has not yet been experimentally confirmed.

Traditional Chinese herbal medicine plus triple therapy in treating Helicobacter pylori-induced chronic atrophic gastritis: a meta-analysis and cumulative meta-analysis

Objectives:To evaluate the benefits of traditional Chinese herbal medicine(TCHM)plus triple therapy(TT)in the management of Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)-induced chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG).Methods:A comprehensive access and electronic database search were carried out from inception to June 2020.Prospective randomized trials(TCHM plus TT vs.TT)were selected to assess the eradication rate of H.pylori(ER of H.pylori),clinical symptom relief rate(SRR),treatment-related adverse reactions(TRAR)and 95%confidence intervals(CI)in the meta-analysis and cumulative meta-analysis(CMA).Meta-regression analysis was used to analyze heterogeneity between studies and publication bias.Results:33 studies contained 3,226 participants were included.Compared with the TT group,TCHM plus TT group showed a significantly higher ER of H.pylori(OR=4.14,95%CI:3.21-5.35;P=0.000)and SRR(OR=4.50,95%CI:3.59-5.64).Meanwhile,the TRAR of TCHM plus TT remedy was significantly lower than TT monopoly(RR=0.43,95%CI:0.29-0.64;P=0.000).The results of the CMA,sorted by publication year,duration of treatment,and sample size,confirmed that combined treatment remedy was superior to TT monopoly in respect of ER of H.pylori and SRR.Conclusions:The present study obtained reliable and convincing evidence suggesting that TCHM plus TT remedy was efficacious and safe in treating H.pylori-induced CAG.

Analysis of effect of external therapies of traditional Chinese medicine on eczema by data mining

Objective:To determine medication regularity external therapies of Traditional Chinese medicine of eczema by data mining.Methods:Papers were retrieved from databases Pubmed,CNKI,WF,VIP,CBM,Web of Science and Embase.From the establishment of the database to April 2020 were searched.The main points of Medication Regularity were established with Excel 2016 software;the characteristics and laws in external therapies of Traditional Chinese medicine Treatment of eczema were analyzed with the relevance rule and cluster analysis Methods in data mining technology.Results:The property and flavor of the herbs mainly used were cold,bitter,while the channel which are mostly involved included liver meridian,lung meridian and Bladder Meridian,The analysis of association rules showed that kushen and difuzi had the highest correlation.The clustering analysis figured out 7groups of the herbs.Conclusion:The study presents the common pair herbs in the treatment of external therapies of Traditional Chinese medicine of eczema,which provides the approach to syndrome differentiation and medication in clinical treatment of eczema.

Research progress of external therapies of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a common chronic liver disease characterized by diffuse hepatic steatosis.With the improvement of people's living standard,the incidence rate of NAFLD has been increasing,which has become one of the global health problems in 21st Century.However,there is no specific drug or standard treatment for NAFLD,which brings challenges to treatment.Acupuncture,moxibustion,massage and other external therapies based on the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine have obvious curative effect in the clinical treatment of NAFLD,but the mechanism has not been systematically explained,which makes the clinical promotion evidence insufficient.This paper aims to summarize the researches on the treatment of NAFLD by external therapies of traditional Chinese medicine in recent years,and analyze its possible mechanism,so as to provide a scientific theoretical basis for future basic experiments and clinical research,and form a set of standardized clinical diagnosis and treatment scheme with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.

Diabetic foot is one of the chronic complications of diabetes,which is serious and expensive to treat.As an effective method for treating diabetic foot,Chinese medicine plays an important role in improving the clinical symptoms and reducing the suffering of diabetic foot patients.The methods of traditional Chinese medicine to treat diabetic foot include internal treatment method,external treatment method and comprehensive therapy.This article reviews the research results of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of diabetic foot in order to provide reference for the treatment of diabetic foot.

Professor Liu Guobin used traditional Chinese medicine to cure a case of primary erythema limb pain

Primary erythema limb pain is a very rare disease,and its pathogenesis is not clear.Usually,the pain symptoms of patients exist for a long time,which seriously affect the daily life of patients and increase the economic burden of patients.Professor Liu Guobin,who has been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular diseases for nearly 30 years,believes that heat-toxin and blood stasis collaterals are closely related to the disease,and emphasizes the principle of heat-toxin and evil qi causing the disease.It is emphasized that clearing heat and detoxification,promoting blood circulation and dispersing blood stasis are the main treatment principles.This paper selects a typical case to describe Professor Liu's clinical experience in the treatment of primary erythema limb pain by oral and external use of traditional Chinese medicine,so as to provide an effective method of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of primary erythema limb pain.

Efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine external interventions in juvenile myopia: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Background:Myopia is a common refractive error that is increasingly prevalent amongst young individuals.Preventing and controlling myopia is crucial due to its association with several complications such as myopic macular degeneration,glaucoma,and retinal detachment.Objective:The aim of this study is to systematically evaluate the efficacy of external Chinese medicine therapies in the treatment of adolescent myopia.Methods:We performed a systematic search of the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),PubMed,the Cochrane Library,Science Direct,WanFang,the Weipu Database(VIP),China Biology Medicine(CMB),Web of Science(WOS),Medline,Clinical Trials,the Chinese Science Citation Database(CSCD),and the Bailian Yun Library databases from January 2012 to December 2022 to identify the randomized control trials(RCTs)that compared traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)external therapies with conventional therapies for the treatment of juvenile myopia.Two independent reviewers conducted the screening process,data extraction,and quality assessment.A meta-analysis was then conducted.Results:A total of 1735 relevant articles were retrieved.We included 38 RCTs involving 3680 patients and 7250 eyes that used TCM external therapies for the intervention of juvenile myopia.The results of the metaanalysis showed that the efficacy of TCM external therapies in preventing and controlling myopia was statistically significant compared with conventional therapies[odds ratio(OR)=3.72,95%CI(2.87,4.83),P<0.01],and a funnel plot showed the basic symmetry.The meta-analysis results showed that compared with conventional therapies,TCM external therapies had statistically significant effects on the spherical equivalent[weighted mean difference(WMD)=0.22,95%CI(0.16,0.27),P<0.01],visual acuity[WMD=0.09,95%CI(0.07,0.12),P<0.01],and axial length[standardized mean difference(SMD)=0.19,95%CI(0.07,0.31),P<0.01].Conclusion:Results showed that TCM external therapies can be an effective intervention in preventing and controlling adolescent myopia.However,more large-scale,multicenter,double-blind,and long-term RCTs are needed to validate these results.

At present,for the treatment of liver cancer is not limited to western medicine chemotherapy.With the development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),more patients choose Chinese medicine conservative treatment.TCM has the theoretical system and treatment system.Tujia medicine,as a branch of TCM,has its own unique treatment methods in the treatment of disease.The author found in the exploration of the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer,TCM,and Tujia medicine has the effect of different approaches but equally satisfactory results in the treatment of liver cancer,the collation,and research of comparison,in order to provide a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer.

Chinese Medicine Involving Triple Rehabilitation Therapy for Knee Osteoarthritis in 696 Outpatients:A Multi-Center,Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective:To determine the effects of Chinese medicine(CM)involving triple rehabilitation therapy on the progression of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods:A total of 722 patients recruited from 38 community health service centers located in China from March 2013 to March 2017 were randomly divided into treatment and control groups equally,using a cluster randomization design.Health education combined with CM involving triple rehabilitation therapy for KOA(electro-acupuncture,Chinese medicinal herb fumigating-washing,and traditional exercises)was administered in the treatment group while conventional rehabilitation therapy(physical factor therapy,joint movement training,and muscle strength training)was administered in the control group.Patients with a visual analog scale(VAS)scores>A were treated with dispersible meloxicam tablets(7.5 mg,once daily).The Lequesne index scores,VAS scores,range of motion(ROM),lower limb muscle strength,knee joint circumference,quantitative scores of KOA symptoms,and the short-form 36 item health survey questionnaire(SF-36)scores were measured for each patient at 5 checkpoints(before treatment,at the 2nd week and the 4th week during the 4-week treatment period,at 1 month and 3 months after end of treatment),and adverse reactions were observed also.Results:A total of 696 patients completed the entire process,with 351 in the treatment group and 345 in the control group.At all treatment checkpoints,the treatment group demonstrated better outcomes than the control group with regard to the total Lequesne index scores,effective rate and improvement rate of the total Lequesne index scores,VAS scores,lower limb muscle strength,knee circumference,quantitative scores of KOA symptoms,and SF-36 scores as well(P<0.05 or P<0.01).No adverse reactions were encountered in this study.Conclusions:CM involving triple rehabilitation therapy can alleviate KOA-related pain and swelling,improve lower limb muscle strength,promote flexion and activity of the knee and improve the quality of life in patients undergoing KOA.It is suitable for patients with early or mid-stage KOA.(Registration No.ChiCTR-TRC-12002538)

中药外敷联合复合超声关节治疗仪治疗膝骨关节炎的临床效果

目的探究中药外敷联合复合超声关节治疗仪在膝骨关节炎(KOA)中的应用效果。方法选取2022年8月至2023年8月就诊于安阳市中医院的99例KOA患者为研究对象,随机分为3组,每组33例。超声组接受超声关节治疗仪治疗,中药组接受中药外敷治疗,联合组接受中药外敷联合超声关节治疗仪治疗。对比3组疗效及治疗前后西安大略和麦克马斯特大学骨关节炎指数(WOMAC)、视觉模拟评分法(VAS)、奎森功能演算(Lequesne)指数评分、成纤维细胞生长因子2(FGF-2)、Ⅰ型胶原C-末端肽(CTX-I)、软骨寡聚基质蛋白(COMP)及不良反应。结果联合组总有效率[93.94%(31/33)]高于超声组[75.76%(25/33)]、中药组[72.73%(24/33)](P<0.05),超声组与中药组总有效率对比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);治疗3个疗程后联合组FGF-2高于超声组、中药组,CTX-1、COMP、Lequesne、WOMAC评分低于超声组、中药组(P<0.05),超声组、中药组组间对比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);治疗3个疗程后联合组静态、动态VAS评分<中药组<超声组(P<0.05);治疗期间3组均未出现不良反应。结论中药外敷与复合超声关节治疗仪联合治疗KOA患者效果确切,可有效调节骨代谢指标,有助于缓解患者疼痛感,恢复膝关节功能。

中医适宜技术联合盆底肌肉训练治疗产后压力性尿失禁临床观察

目的 对产后压力性尿失禁患者进行中医适宜技术干预治疗,并观察效果。方法 将60例患者随机分为治疗组和训练组,并对其进行相应治疗,观察2组1 h尿垫试验结果、Sandvik尿失禁指数和国际尿失禁咨询委员会尿失禁问卷简表(ICI-Q-SF)评分改善情况,以及临床疗效。结果 治疗后,治疗组1 h尿垫试验结果、Sandvik尿失禁指数和ICI-Q-SF评分改善均优于训练组。治疗结束时,治疗组总有效率为86.7%(26/30),高于对照组的63.3%(19/30)(P<0.05)。6个月随访时治疗组总有效率86.7%(26/30)亦高于对照组的56.7%(17/30)(P<0.05)。结论 在产后女性中,压力性尿失禁的发生是值得关注的问题。将中医适宜技术与凯格尔训练联用干预产后压力性尿失禁达到巩固、延长疗效的目的。

散结透脓方外敷联合消肿清热解毒汤内服治疗泛发性肛周脓肿术后的效果及对创面愈合时间、肛门功能的影响

目的观察散结透脓方外敷联合消肿清热解毒汤内服在泛发性肛周脓肿术后的应用效果及对创面愈合时间、肛门功能的影响。方法将102例热毒炽盛型泛发性肛周脓肿术后患者按照随机数字表法分为2组,对照组51例术后予以抗感染及对症支持等治疗方法,治疗组51例在对照组基础上予以散结透脓方外敷联合消肿清热解毒汤内服治疗,2组均治疗4周。比较2组治疗后创面愈合情况(创面腐肉脱落时间、创面愈合时间、治疗2周创面回缩率)、治疗前后中医证候评分、治疗前和治疗2周疼痛视觉模拟评分(VAS)、治疗前和术后2个月肛门失禁Wexner评分量表评分、治疗前和治疗2周炎症相关指标[白细胞计数(WBC)、C反应蛋白(CRP)、白细胞介素6(IL-6)],并统计2组临床疗效,记录治疗期间不良反应发生情况。结果治疗组总有效率90.20%(46/51),对照组总有效率74.51%(38/51),治疗组临床疗效优于对照组(P<0.05)。2组治疗后中医证候各项评分均较本组治疗前降低(P<0.05),且治疗组治疗后均低于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗组创面腐肉脱落时间、愈合时间均低于对照组(P<0.05),治疗2周时创面回缩率高于对照组(P<0.05)。2组治疗2周时疼痛VAS均较本组治疗前降低(P<0.05),且治疗组治疗2周时疼痛VAS低于对照组同期(P<0.05)。2组术后2个月Wexner评分均较本组治疗前降低(P<0.05),且治疗组术后2个月Wexner评分低于对照组同期(P<0.05)。2组治疗2周后外周血WBC、CRP、IL-6水平均较本组治疗前降低(P<0.05),且治疗组治疗2周后均低于对照组同期(P<0.05)。结论散结透脓方外敷联合消肿清热解毒汤内服可提高泛发性肛周脓肿术后疗效,缩短愈合时间,减轻术后疼痛,缓解炎症反应,有利于改善患者肛门功能。

下肢洗剂治疗膝骨关节炎临床观察

目的探讨下肢洗剂治疗膝骨关节炎的效果。方法选择60例膝骨关节炎患者作为研究对象,将其随机分成试验组和对照组,各30例。对照组给予双氯芬酸二乙胺乳胶剂外用,试验组给予下肢洗剂外用,2组均持续治疗2周。观察2组的临床疗效,比较2组治疗前后西安大略大学和麦克马斯特大学骨关节炎指数(WOMAC)量表评分、膝关节综合评分、血清学指标变化情况,以及不良反应发生情况。结果试验组的愈显率为66.67%(20/30),高于对照组的50.00%(15/30),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。治疗后,2组患者的WOMAC量表评分、膝关节综合评分及白细胞介素-1β(IL-1β)、白细胞介素-6(IL-6)水平均有不同程度下降,且试验组下降程度大于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。2组不良反应发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论下肢洗剂对于阳虚寒凝型膝骨关节炎具有治疗作用,可以很好地改善其临床症状,使血清炎性因子水平降低,在临床有一定的应用推广价值。

吴氏理筋手法结合J型针刀治疗术后肘关节僵硬的临床研究

目的 探讨吴氏理筋手法结合J型针刀治疗术后肘关节僵硬的临床应用价值。方法 选取江西省南昌市洪都中医院康复科2020年6月—2021年6月收治的60例术后肘关节僵硬患者,以单盲随机法分为对照组(关节松动术)与治疗组(吴氏理筋手法结合J型针刀),各30例。治疗4周后,比较两组Mayo肘关节功能评分(MEPS)与视觉模拟量表(VAS)评分,同时对疗效开展评估。结果 治疗后,与对照组相比,治疗组MEPS评分较高,而VAS评分较低(P<0.05);且治疗组总有效率为100.00%(30/30),明显高于对照组的83.33%(25/30)(P<0.05)。结论 吴氏理筋手法结合J型针刀治疗术后肘关节僵硬患者,能实现肘关节功能的恢复,并减轻患者疼痛,效果确切,具有较高的推广价值。

灸刺放血联合治疗椎动脉型颈椎病急性发作期临床观察

目的 观察灸刺放血联合治疗椎动脉型颈椎病急性发作期的临床效果。方法 将70例椎动脉型颈椎病急性发作期患者随机分成观察组(灸刺放血结合组)和对照组(灸刺结合组),各35例。观察组予电子灸、普通针刺及刺络放血拔罐疗法,对照组给予电子灸及普通针刺法联合治疗;于首次治疗前后行椎-基底动脉血流动力学[脑血管彩色多普勒超声(TCD)]测定及对眩晕程度进行评估对比。结果 治疗后,TCD显示2组患者收缩峰期血流速度(Vs)、平均血流速度(Vm)均降低(P<0.01),且2组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。但2组血管搏动指数(PI)、血管阻力指数(RI)无改善(P>0.05)。治疗后,2组眩晕程度均好转(P<0.01),且2组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 灸刺放血结合疗法能够有效减慢椎动脉型颈椎病急性发作期患者的椎-基底动脉高血流速度、缓解眩晕程度,即时效果明显优于针刺艾灸结合组,可在各级医疗机构推广应用。

金黄膏联合田七祛瘀胶囊治疗胫腓骨骨折术后肿胀临床观察

目的探讨金黄膏联合田七祛瘀胶囊治疗胫腓骨骨折术后肿胀的临床效果。方法以抽样法选取南昌市洪都中医院创伤骨科2022年7月—2022年12月收治的胫腓骨骨折患者60例作为研究对象,根据入组标准,按随机数字表法分为对照组和观察组,每组30例。对照组采用自制中药金黄膏治疗,观察组在对照组的基础上口服田七祛瘀胶囊治疗。治疗后,对两组临床效果进行评估。结果治疗后,观察组患者膝关节疼痛评分低于对照组(P<0.05),两组术后1、3 d肿胀值差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),观察组术后5、7 d肿胀值低于对照组(P<0.05),观察组总有效率96.67%(29/30)高于对照组的73.33%(22/30)(P<0.05)。结论在治疗胫腓骨骨折术后肿胀过程中将内服外敷有效结合,能够取长补短,起到消肿止痛的效果,还能降低疼痛程度,促进患者恢复。
