Despite existing national and international data on the extent...Background: There is a lack of reliable epidemiological data on prevalence and comorbidity rates of mental disorders in the migrant population in Germany. Despite existing national and international data on the extent of psychosocial burdens in migrant populations the prevalence among the study population remains unclear. The aim of this study was to collect prevalence data for the largest migrant population in Germany-individuals with Turkish migration backgrounds—using a culturally and linguistically sensitive approach. Methods: The study employs a cross-sectional design. The multi-centre study (Hamburg, Berlin) is based on a sample of individuals with Turkish migration backgrounds living in the two cities stratified by age, gender, and education. The study programme consists of three phases: 1) a qualitative focus group to collect information on how to increase the participation rate of the target population as a minority group in Germany;2) a translation phase to create culture and linguistic sensitive versions of the assessment tools (e.g., the Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) for Turkish speaking individuals;and 3) a baseline community study to assess the lifetime, 12-month and four-week prevalence and comorbidity rates of mental disorder, health care utilization and help-seeking behaviour in individuals of Turkish migration backgrounds living in Germany. Discussion: The study provides important data on the lifetime prevalence of mental disorders and health care utilization of individuals with Turkish migration backgrounds. Furthermore, the study is an important step towards gaining a better understanding of potential barriers to participation, creating resources for difficult-to- reach minorities, and understanding the need for assessing mental disorders in migrant populations. These results can offer a starting point for the initiation of the necessary structural changes for mental health care services and policies for groups with migration backgrounds.展开更多
Modern solid-state drives (SSDs)are integrating more internal resources to achieve higher capacity.Parallelizing accesses across internal resources can potentially enhance the performance of SSDs.However,exploiting pa...Modern solid-state drives (SSDs)are integrating more internal resources to achieve higher capacity.Parallelizing accesses across internal resources can potentially enhance the performance of SSDs.However,exploiting parallelism inside SSDs is challenging owing to real-time access conflicts.In this paper,we propose a highly parallelizable I/O scheduler (PIOS)to improve internal resource utilization in SSDs from the perspective of I/O scheduling.Specifically, we first pinpoint the conflicting flash requests with precision during the address translation in the Flash Translation Layer (FTL).Then,we introduce conflict eliminated requests (CERs)to reorganize the I/O requests in the device-level queue by dispatching conflicting flash requests to different CERs.Owing to the significant performance discrepancy between flash read and write operations,PIOS employs differentiated scheduling schemes for read and write CER queues to always allocate internal resources to the conflicting CERs that are more valuable.The small dominant size prioritized scheduling policy for the write queue significantly decreases the average write latency.The high parallelism density prioritized scheduling policy for the read queue better utilizes resources by exploiting internal parallelism aggressively.Our evaluation results show that the paralle/izable I/O scheduler (PIOS)can accomplish better SSD performance than existing I/O schedulers implemented in both SSD devices and operating systems.展开更多
Previously,the once-through CO_(2)chemical absorption process by biogas slurry was experimentally verified to offer the unique advantages like low energy consumption,cost-effectiveness,and feasibility of CO_(2)fixatio...Previously,the once-through CO_(2)chemical absorption process by biogas slurry was experimentally verified to offer the unique advantages like low energy consumption,cost-effectiveness,and feasibility of CO_(2)fixation in plants.However,this technology also faces some challenges and limitations,including a low CO_(2)absorption rate and performance.To improve the effectiveness and reliability of this innovative carbon capture,utilization,and storage(CCUS)technology,this study proposes a novel method to enhance the CO_(2)absorption performance without affecting agricultural applications of CO_(2)by mixing biogas slurry with biomass ash as the green CO_(2)absorbent.The results indicate that when the solid-liquid mass ratio of biomass ash to biogas slurry is 5:10,the CO_(2)loading of the biomass ash and biogas slurry mixture(BA-BS)reaches 936.7±59.1 mmol/kg.Furthermore,the pH of the BA-BS remains stable at 6.9,meeting the rhizosphere pH requirements for plant cultivation.The CO_(2)absorption of the BA-BS liquid phase,referred to as improved biogas slurry(IBS),reaches its maximum at 230.4±3.5 mmol/L,which is 126.8%higher than that of the unimproved biogas slurry.The nitrogen content in the BA-BS solid phase,calling improved biomass ash(IBA),also reaches its maximum at 4.24±0.74 mg/g,thereby expanding the agricultural utilization of biomass ash.The most reasonable and effective way of utilizing CO_(2)-rich mixed biogas slurry and biomass ash involves use IBA as the base fertilizer for tomato cultivation,supplemented later with IBS to promote growth.This optimal application allows for substantial utilization of CO_(2),introduced into the tomato cultivation environment by IBA and IBS.The carbon fixation of a single tomato has improved by 108.2%.This study thus provides a feasible solution for high-value negative carbonization of biogas slurry and biomass ash.展开更多
Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of the plate screw internal fixation technique on the clinical outcomes of patients with traumatic fractures of long bones in the lower extremities. Methods: From January 20...Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of the plate screw internal fixation technique on the clinical outcomes of patients with traumatic fractures of long bones in the lower extremities. Methods: From January 2022 to December 2023, 70 patients with traumatic fractures of long bones in the lower extremities were admitted to the hospital and randomly divided into two groups: the control group and the observation group, each consisting of 35 cases. The control group underwent traditional closed interlocking intramedullary nailing, while the observation group received internal fixation with steel plates and screws. Relevant surgical indicators, treatment effectiveness, and postoperative complication rates were compared between the two groups. Results: The observation group exhibited significantly short surgical duration (80.65 ± 5.01 vs. 88.36 ± 5.26 minutes), fracture healing time (13.27 ± 0.32 vs. 15.52 ± 0.48 weeks), and hospitalization days (10.49 ± 1.13 vs. 16.57 ± 1.15 days) compared to the control group (P = 0.000). The effective treatment rate was significantly higher in the observation group (29/82.86%) than in the control group (21/60.00%), with a significant difference observed (χ2 = 4.480, P = 0.034). Additionally, the complication rate in the observation group (2/5.71%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (8/22.86%), with a correlated difference (χ2 = 4.200, P = 0.040). Conclusion: The plate screw internal fixation technique demonstrates significant clinical efficacy in treating traumatic fractures of long bones in the lower extremities. It improves the healing rate, reduces complications, and represents a safe and effective treatment strategy worthy of widespread use and application.展开更多
目的:外固定支架和钢板内固定作为桡骨远端粉碎性骨折的常用治疗方法,在临床上各有利弊。系统评价外固定支架与钢板内固定治疗粉碎性桡骨远端骨折的临床疗效及安全性,为桡骨远端骨折中西医结合诊疗指南研制提供论证依据。方法:系统检索P...目的:外固定支架和钢板内固定作为桡骨远端粉碎性骨折的常用治疗方法,在临床上各有利弊。系统评价外固定支架与钢板内固定治疗粉碎性桡骨远端骨折的临床疗效及安全性,为桡骨远端骨折中西医结合诊疗指南研制提供论证依据。方法:系统检索PubMed、Web of Science、Embase、Cochrane Library、中国知网、中国生物医学文献数据库、维普和万方数据库,纳入2013年10月至2023年10月发表的关于外固定支架和钢板内固定治疗粉碎性桡骨远端骨折的随机对照试验文献,按照纳入标准和排除标准筛选文献,使用Review Manager进行文献质量评价和Meta分析。结果:(1)纳入8篇文献,其中中文文献4篇,英文文献4篇、总样本量648例,外固定支架组328例,钢板内固定组320例;(2)术后3个月,钢板内固定组的背伸、掌屈、旋后范围优于外固定支架组;术后12个月,钢板内固定组的握力、掌倾角、掌屈、旋前和旋后范围优于外固定支架组;钢板内固定组在术后感染方面优于外固定支架组,其余结局指标两组差异均无显著性意义。结论:现有8项证据表明,在粉碎性桡骨远端骨折的治疗方式选择上,外固定支架与切开钢板内固定都有良好的治疗效果,综合其他因素钢板内固定更胜一筹,但是对于一些高度严重的粉碎性桡骨远端骨折、骨质较差、严重污染的开放性骨折以及软组织肿胀而无法进行切开手术的特殊患者,外固定支架才是首选。此次研究结果具有局限性,未来还需要开展更多高质量、大样本、多中心的随机对照试验研究,另外需重视远期疗效、其他次要指标的观察,补充优化当前研究结果。展开更多
