Here, a renovated design strategy of semi-biomass interpenetrating polymer network(IPN) derived carbon is demonstrated through physically knitting the biomacromolecule(sodium alginate, SA) polymeric chains into the highly crosslinked resorcinol-formaldehyde(RF) network and subsequent thermochemical conversion. Moleculelevel interlacing forces in such IPN efficiently relieve the RF skeleton shrinkage when producing carbon, while the other SA network addresses the macrophase separation issue to sacrifice as an in-knitted porogen and a morphology-directing agent. As a result, porous carbon globules are equipped with moss-like surfaces and interconnected pore architecture for high accessible electrode surface(1013 m^(2)/g), and efficient electrochemical responses are reached with the specific capacitance of 312 F/g at 1 A/g. Taking the advantage of 9 mol/kg NaClO_(4) complex-solvent electrolyte, the voltage window is extended to 2.4 V,endowing the two-electrode device with the high energy delivery of 32.3 Wh/kg at 240 W/kg.展开更多

Semi-interpenetrating polymer network (semi IPNs) hydrogel, composed of AAm with AMPS as co-monomer, with poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) and a multifunctional crosslinker such as trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) was prepared. AAm/AMPS hydrogels and AAm/AMPS/PEG semi IPNs were synthesized by free radical solution polymerization by using ammonium persulphate (APS)/N,N,N’,N’-tetramethylethylenediamine (TEMED) as redox initiating pair. Swelling experiments were performed in water, 0.01 M and 0.03 M aqueous urea solutions at 25oC, gravimetrically. FTIR spectroscopy was used to identify the presence of different repeating units in the semi IPNs. Some swelling and diffusion characteristics were calculated for different semi IPNs and hydrogels prepared under various formulations. Taking the advantage of 9 mol/kg NaClO_(4) complex-solvent electrolyte, the voltage window is extended to 2.4 V,endowing the two-electrode device with the high energy delivery of 32.3 Wh/kg at 240 W/kg.
文摘Novel triblock copolymers of poly (L-lactide)-poly (ethylene glycol)-sebacate-poly (ethylene glycol)-poly (L-lactide) were synthesized by Ring-Opening Polymerization of different ratios of L-lactide with other three pre-prepared poly (ethylene glycol)-sebacate-poly (ethylene glycol) polymers, coded A, B and C which had different poly (ethyleneglycol) chain lengths. The copolymers were characterized by FTIR and 1H NMR spectroscopy, which indicated that the reaction of ROP took place and led to producing nine triblock copolymers having new different lactide chain lengths (n = 10, 25 and 50), AL10, AL25, AL50,BL10, BL25, BL50, CL10, CL25, and CL50. Nine polymer networks were also prepared from copolymers with sodium alginate S1 - S9 and finally mixed with a solution of hydroxyl ethyl cellulose to form SH1 - SH9.

文摘Hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene(HTPB) based polyurethane(PU)-polystyrene(PS) interpenetrating polymer network(IPN) was prepared and characterized by FTIR, TGA, WCA, swelling experiments, and SEM. The IPN was used for pervaporation(PV) recovery of butanol. Both the permeation flux and separation factor increased with feed temperature, and both water and butanol fluxes increased with feed concentration while no obvious effect of concentration on separation factor was found. Through the formation of IPN structure, the total flux of HTPB based PU increased greatly with the decrease of separation factor. At the feed temperature of 60 °C, the IPN membrane obtained a total flux of 613.3 g/m^2 h with a separation factor of 6.15.

文摘The apparent kinetics and cure behavior of novel interpenetrating polymer networks(IPNs) based on cycloaliphatic epoxy resin(CER) and tri-functional acrylate have been investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR).The results of DSC measurements show that the curing reaction of the TMPTMA component is much earlier than that of the CER component, which can lead to the formation of the IPNs.In contrast to neat anhydride-CER system, the anhydri...
文摘The aim of this study was to investigate the equilibrium swelling and sorption properties of chemically crosslinked copolymeric hydrogels as biopotential sorbent consisting of acrylamide (AAm) and 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid (AMPS). The hydrogels showed enormous swelling in aqueous urea/water medium and displayed swelling characteristics that were highly depended on the chemical composition of the hydrogels. FTIR spectroscopy was used to identify the presence of different repeating units in the semi IPNs. Some swelling and diffusion characteristics were calculated for different semi IPNs and hydrogels prepared under various formulations. For sorption of cationic dye, Lauths violet into the hydrogels was studied by batch sorption technique at 25oC. Dye removal capacity, adsorption percentage and partition coefficient of the hydrogels was investigated. Swelling and dye sorption properties of AAm/AMPS hydrogels and AAm/AMPS/PEG semi IPNs were investigated as a function of chemical composition of the hydrogels.

文摘The interpenetrating polymer network(IPN) silicone hydrogels with improved oxygen permeability and mechanical strength were prepared by UV-initiated polymerization of monomers including methacryloxypropyl tris(trimethylsiloxy)silane(TRIS),2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate(HEMA) and N-vinyl pyrrolidone(NVP) in the presence of free radical photoinitiator and cationic photoinitiator. The polymerization mechanism was investigated by the formation of gel network. The structure of IPN hydrogels was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).The results showed that the IPN hydrogels exhibited a heterogeneous morphology. The mechanical properties, surface wettability and oxygen permeability were examined by using a tensile tester,a contact angle goniometer and an oxygen transmission tester, respectively. The equilibrium water content of the hydrogels was measured by the gravimetric method. The results revealed that the IPN hydrogels possessed hydrophilic surface and high water content. They exhibited improved oxygen permeability and mechanical strength because of the incorporation of TRIS.
