The experimental results show that the flux injection method can realize the melt treatment of A1-7%Si alloy. In purification, the flux injection method is superior to the standard lance degassing method. For the injection flux, the purifier Na2SiF6 is more powerful than Na3A1F6, the modifiers SrCl2, and R.E. Cl3 are quick acting, like NaF, but less powerful, the grain refiner containing K2TiF6 and KBF4 with Ti/B=1 is more potent than that with Ti/B=5. The analytical results indicate that the mass-transfer rate for the flux injection method is much higher than that for the conventional method .展开更多

Three dogs fulfilled these criteria and were thus subjects for ADSCs treatment. ADSCs were isolated from abdominal adipose tissue of a 2-mo-old female Yorkshire pig. Their stem cell marker expression was examined by immunofluorescence staining. For treatment, 5 million ADSCs were injected into the diseased joint of each dog. In the next 48 h, the patient was observed for signs of inflammatory and allergic reactions. Thepatient was then discharged to the owner and, at 2, 6, and 12 wk, followed up with orthopedic assessment, owner questionnaire, X-ray imaging, and force-plate gait analysis.RESULTS: Porcine ADSCs expressed mesenchymal stem cell markers CD90 and CD105. Injection of porcine ADSCs into canine stifle joints did not cause any inflammatory or allergic reactions. Orthopedic evaluation found improvements in two dogs, particularly at the longest time point. Owners' evaluation found increased capacity and decreased pain in all three dogs' activities such as walking and running. Radiographic evaluation did not find statistically significant differences before and after treatment. Force-plate analysis found significant improvements in all three dogs after treatment.CONCLUSION: Xenotransplantation of ADSCs for the treatment of OA is feasible. Further studies are needed to validate this novel treatment modality, which can then be implemented for the routine treatment of OA in veterinary medicine.展开更多

The p...An outward-going intervertebral foramina puncture along the side of lumbar vertebra spinous process was used to avoid infusing drugs into the subarachnoid space. However, we still had an inadvertent malpractice. The patient was diagnosed with lumbar discogenic lower back pain and was administrated an outward-going intervertebral foramina puncture through the side of lumbar vertebra spinous process (L5-S1). The drug mixture, containing triamcinolone acetonide suspension, cyanocobalamin and bupivacaine HCl, was injected. The patient had palpitations, chest tightness, dyspnea, bradycardia, and hypotension 3 min right after the injection. The vital signs gradually stabilized after treatment with atropine sulfate;however, he had complete sensorimotor loss below the level of distribution of the T2 spinal nerve. The cerebrospinal fluid pressure was lower in the subarachnoid space and the cerebrospinal fluid was slightly turbid and light pink in color. Six hours later, the sensory, motor, defecation, and urination functions returned to normal level. The patient had follow-up evaluations at 1, 3, and 6 months. The lumbar and hip pain was mild-to-severe at times as usual, but there were no other neurologic sequelae. Conclusions: This case showed that there is a risk that drugs may stray into the subarachnoid space during an outward-going intervertebral foramina puncture through the side of lumbar vertebral spinous process. The complication may occur due to a distal nerve root cyst. The result of triamcinolone acetonide suspension and cyanocobalamin injection into the cerebrospinal fluid was not as serious as we imagined.展开更多

Achieving near-normal glycated hemoglobin significantly, decreases risk of macrovascular and microvascular complications. At present there are different treatments, both oral and injectable, available for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM). Treatment algorithms designed to reduce the development or progression of the complications of diabetes emphasizes the need for good glycaemic control. The aim of this review is to perform an update on the benefits and limitations of different drugs, both current and future, for the treatment of T2 DM. Initial intervention should focus on lifestyle changes. Moreover, changes in lifestyle have proven to be beneficial, but for many patients is a complication keep long term. Physicians should be familiar with the different types of existing drugs for the treatment of diabetes and select the most effective, safe and better tolerated by patients. Metformin remains the first choice of treatment for most patients. Other alternative or second-line treatment options should be individualized depending on the characteristics of each patient. This article reviews the treatments available for patients with T2 DM, with an emphasis on agents introduced within the last decade.展开更多

In the last several decades, many researches on casing treatment have been carded out. However, the mechanism of its expanding stall margins is still not very clear. Till now, most casing teatment schemes are designed for axial compressors, while the investigations on casing treatments in centrifugal compressors are rarely reported. Moreover, current investigation methods mainly focus on experiments, and perfect theoretic al analysis is not yet feasible. In order to study the effectiveness and further the mechanism of casing treatments in centrifugal compressors, in this paper, a computationally based investigation of the impact of the self-recireulating casing treatment on the performance of a radial compressor is carried out. The results indicate that, by casing bleed and injection, the casing treatment with inclined blades in the cavity expands the stall margin most. At low mass flows, the reversed flow through the cavity with inclined blades develops the counter swirl flow in front of the impeller inlet, which is considered to benefit increasing the pressure rise from the injection port to the bleed port and thereby augment the recirculating flow. At 120% design speed, the stall margin is larger than that at the design speed. However, the cost of extending the stall margin is the reduction of isentropic efficiency. A mended casing treatment by shifting the bleed port upstream is also studied. It is demonstrated that, relative to the original casing treatment, this mend can improve the efficiency evidently notwithstanding a little narrowing of the flow range.展开更多

文摘The effects of two different heat-treatment atmospheres, nitrogen atmosphere and reducing nitrogen atmosphere with carbon,on the properties of Y2O3-doped aluminum nitride(AlN) ceramics were investigated. The AlN powder as a raw material was synthesized by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis(SHS) and compacts were fabricated by employing powder injection molding technique. The polymer-wax binder consisted of 60 wt.% paraffin wax(PW),35 wt.% polypropylene(PP),and 5 wt.% stearic acid(SA).After the removal of binder, specimens were sintered at 1850°С in nitrogen atmosphere under atmospheric pressure. To improve the thermal conductivity, sintered samples were reheated. The result reveals that the heat-treatment atmosphere has significant effect on the properties and secondary phase of AlN ceramics. The thermal conductivity and density of AlN ceramics reheated in nitrogen gas are 180 W·m^-1·K^-1 and 3.28 g·cm^-3 and the secondary phase is yttrium aluminate. For the sample reheated in reducing nitrogen atmosphere with carbon, the thermal conductivity and density are 173 W·m^-1·K^-1 and 3.23 g·cm^-3,respectively,and the secondary phase is YN.
文摘We report a case of a 63-year-old male who experienced an iatrogenic sigmoid perforation repaired combining three endoscopic techniques. The lesion was large and irregular with three discrete perforations, therefore,we decided to close it by placing one clip per perforation, and then connecting all the clips with two endoloops. Finally we chose to use a fibrin glue injection to obtain a complete sealing.Four days after the colonoscopy the patient underwent a laparoscopic right hemicolectomy due to evidence of a large polyp of the caecum with high grade dysplasia and focal carcinoma in situ.Inspection of the sigma showed complete repair of the perforation. This report underlines how a conservative approach, together with a combination of various endoscopic techniques, can resolve complicated iatrogenic perforations of the colon.

文摘The melt treatment of A1-7%Si alloy by the flux injection method in a resistance furnance was investigated. The analytical results indicate that the mass-transfer rate for the flux injection method is much higher than that for the conventional method .

文摘Objective:This study was aimed at analyzing the efficacy and safety of an injectable form of chlorogenic acid(CGA)in patients with recurrent high-grade glioma after standard of care treatments, through a first-in-human,open-label,dose-escalation phase I trial. Methods:A total of 26 eligible patients were enrolled, received intramuscular CGA injections at 5 dose levels, and were followed up for 5 years.CGA was well tolerated, and the maximum tolerated dose was 5.5 mg/kg.Results:The most common treatment-related adverse events occurred at the sites of injection. No grade 3 or 4 adverse events(e.g.,drug allergy)were reported for these patients except for induration at the injection sites.A clinical pharmacokinetic study showed that CGA was rapidly eliminated from the plasma, with a t_(1/2)of 0.95–1.27 h on day 1 and 1.19–1.39 h on day 30,and no detectable CGA was observed on days 9,11,13,23,25,27,and 29 before CGA administration. After the first treatment cycle,52.2%of patients(12 of 23)achieved stable disease.Long-term follow-up indicated an estimated median overall survival of 11.3 months for all 23 evaluable patients.Of the 18 patients with grade 3 glioma, the median overall survival was 9.5 months. Two patients remained alive at the cutoff day. Conclusions:This phase I study demonstrated that CGA has a favorable safety profile(with no severe toxicity),and provides preliminary clinical benefits for patients with high grade glioma relapsing after prior standard therapies, thus shedding light on the potential clinical application of CGA for recurrent grade 4 glioma.
文摘AIM: To test whether intra-articular injection of porcine adipose-derived stem cells(ADSCs) can treat canine osteoarthritis(OA).METHODS: To enroll in this study dogs must have stifle joint OA that had lasted ≥ 3 mo and been treated with OA medication without significant improvement. Further studies are needed to validate this novel treatment modality, which can then be implemented for the routine treatment of OA in veterinary medicine.
文摘Aiming to meet the demand of the country' s nuclear demonstration project on the CAP1400 nuclear power plant, Baosteel uses the roll-bonding technology and develops the SA-533 Type B CL. 1 + SA-240 Type 304L high-strength and high-toughness clad steel plate with a shear strength of over 310 MPa for the nuclear power plant' s safety injection tank. The properties of the quenched and tempered and the simulated post-weld heat treatment states are systematically studied herein through a comprehensive inspection and evaluation of the composition, microstructure, and properties of the clad steel plate. The results show that the bonding interface has high shear strength and that the base metal has high strength and good toughness at low temperatures. Hence, the performance fully meets the technical requirements of the CAP1400 nuclear power plant' s safety injection tank in the country' s nuclear demonstration project. The roll-bonded clad steel plate can be used to manufacture the safety injection tank of the CAP1400 nuclear power plant.

文摘The bonded NdFeB magnets prepared by injection molding meet with the development tendency of the magnet in small volume, light weight and high performance ,and have a good prospect. In this paper, a modified nylonbased binder was developed for powder injection molding of NdFeB bonded magnets. The effects of pretreatment of NdFeB anisotropic magnetic powder produced with HDDR processing on the anti-oxidation behaviors of powder and the final magnetic properties of the molded bonded magnets were studied. The optimal powder loading of 65 vol% was achieved with the modified binder. It was found that the properties of the bonded magnets were mainly affected by the powder surface pretreatment and the intensity of the applied alignment magnetic field during injection molding for a certain powder.Bonded magnets with remanence of 0.820 T, intrinsic coercivity of 1140.3 kA· m-1 and maximum energy product of 111 kJ · m-3 were produced with the optimal processing.
文摘The use of injectable agents for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence(SUI)is an option for female patients who are unwilling to undergo surgery,or have concurrent conditions or diseases that render surgical treatment unsuitable. To be effective for SUI,an injectable agent must be nonimmunogenic, hypoallergenic, biocompatible, permanent, nonerosive, nonmigratory and painless. It must also heal with minimal fibrosis, possess a long-term bulking effect, and be easily stored and handled.Glutaraldehyde cross-linked bovine collagen(Contigen),silicone polymers(Macroplastique),Durasphere, calcium hydroxyapatite(Coaptite),polyacrylamide hydrogel(Aquamid,Bulkamid),Permacol, and stem cell therapy have been used as injectable agents.Patients must be informed that treatment with injectable agents is not as effective as surgical treatment, and that such agents might necessitate additional and repeated administrations in order to achieve the desired therapeutic effect.
文摘An outward-going intervertebral foramina puncture along the side of lumbar vertebra spinous process was used to avoid infusing drugs into the subarachnoid space. The result of triamcinolone acetonide suspension and cyanocobalamin injection into the cerebrospinal fluid was not as serious as we imagined.
文摘Objective: To investigate the suitable time of treating virulent and side effects of chemotherapy for malignant tumor by acupoint injection of Astragalus Root injection. 文摘To achieve good metabolic control in diabetes and keep long term, a combination of changes in lifestyle and pharmacological treatment is necessary. This article reviews the treatments available for patients with T2 DM, with an emphasis on agents introduced within the last decade.

文摘Casing treatment is a widely employed technique to increase the stall margins of turbomachineries. It is demonstrated that, relative to the original casing treatment, this mend can improve the efficiency evidently notwithstanding a little narrowing of the flow range.
