The solar collector area will be affected to the investment cost of the solar hot water system. A combined system can be reduced the cost of solar collector by using the waste heat from the economizer to produce the hot water for reaching the requirement of the industry. In this paper the economizer installs in the boiler stack of the industry and produces hot water at 60 ℃ of 5,400 liter per day and the solar hot water system produces the hot water at the same temperature of 6,100 liter per day. The analysis is proposed by determining the solar collector plate area from the data and calculation. Investment cost of the system is 151,000 baht for the solar hot water system of 110,000 baht and the economizer of 410,000 baht for producing the total hot water of 115,000 liter per day.展开更多

The measurement shows that the following effects on Chinese economy are brought by large amount of foreign investment: 1) Foreign investment, as an important investment source, boosts the increase of the stock of production factors and improves the supplying potentials of Chinese economy. 2) The application of foreign investment speeds the rapid growth of the total production value and the increases the value of Chinese industry. 3) Foreign investment changes the employment structure of Chinese labor force. 4) The tax in China, to some extent, owes its growth to the adoption of foreign investment.展开更多

The methodology used came from Theoretical postulates (GITMAN, 2004; VAN HORNE, 1993) called, Technical Preparation of capital budgets (Economic and Financial Analysis) called, payback, Net Present Value, and Internal Rate of Return). The economic and financial viability results demonstrated were in two stages: the first identified that the plant is viable according to the payback. The second traced the economic and financial viability from the thermal energy production hypothesis equivalent to electricity power in the amount of 7,699.08 MWh, which resulted in the following indicators: payback of seven years and three months, NPV of R$ 369,064.98, and the IRR of 12.46%. Therefore, managers would have to make a user raising campaign in the ratio of 24.66%, taking into account of an unused capacity of 25%. These indicators were calculated using the following financial data: initial investment of R $ 3,654,731.86, operational income of R $1,262,264.16, operational inputs of R$ 503,639.59, and capital cost of 10.95% over 20 years. This industrial plant is located in the city of Cuellar in northern Spain, having two employees working eight hours a day; it produces only thermal power, represented in this study by MWh of electric power. This industrial plant produces power by burning forest residues from tree pruning. It was concluded that, given the research question developed in this paper--is the study plant profitable from the economic and financial point of view?--The response was identified by calculating the economic and financial indicators that the plant studied is viable from the proposed of maximizing sales revenues to 7,699.08 MWh.展开更多

In 2004 China became the world's second largest oil consumer and imported 122.7 million tons of crude oil, which accounted for 41.9% of China's crude oil consumption. International oil investment becomes an important channel for China to obtain oil resource. The cluster analysis in the target countries of China's international oil investment is studied here. An investment environment model incorporating 9 factors is established firstly, the order of these factors is ranked by their importance. Then the weight of such factors is determined by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and these countries are classified into 3 categories using cluster analysis. The results provide an important decision-making tool for China's international oil investment.展开更多

However, existing studies of transmission infra- structure mostly rely on a simple review of the network, while the analysis of investments remains rudimentary. This study conducted the first regionally focused analysis of investments in transmission infrastructure in China to help optimize its structure and reduce investment costs. Using State Grid data, the investment costs, under various voltages, for transmission lines and transformer substa- tions are calculated. By analyzing the regional profile of cumulative investment in transmission infrastructure, we assess correlations between investment, population, and economic development across the regions. The recent development of ultra-high-voltage transmission networks will provide policy-makers new options for policy development.展开更多
