Promoting the online flow of high-quality teacher resources has emerged as an important way to pursue coordinated progress in burden reduction and quality improvement under the"double reduction"policy.Based ...Promoting the online flow of high-quality teacher resources has emerged as an important way to pursue coordinated progress in burden reduction and quality improvement under the"double reduction"policy.Based on the Open Online Tutoring Program of Secondary School Teachers(hereinafter referred to as"the open tutoring program")in City A,China,this study examined the factors influencing teachers'continuance intention to participate in the open tutoring program and their structural relationships,using a structural equation modeling analysis based on 1,159 sample data.The results show that:Firstly,teachers'reputation enhancement,perceived playfulness,perceived usefulness,and perceived ease of use have a positive effect on teachers'continuance intention to participate in online after-school teaching services.Secondly,online teaching efficacy has no direct effect on teachers'continuance intention,but rather impacts their reputation enhancement and beliefs about the value of the open tutoring program.Thirdly,social influence has a positive effect on teachers'reputation.Fourthly,perceived ease of use has a positive effect on teachers'perception of the value of the open tutoring program.In light of the above,relevant suggestions are proposed to encourage teachers to continue participating in online after-school teaching services.展开更多

In Japan, a system of training after graduation or training after acquisit...This paper is a report of a study of the effects of a leader-training program, focusing on how public health nurse (PHN) leaders manage staff. In Japan, a system of training after graduation or training after acquisition of the PHN license has not been established. At present, PHN leaders are unable to devote as much time as they previously could to in-service education, and this has made it difficult to establish a suitable full-fledged in-service education system. Therefore, it is paramount for PHN leaders to acquire the necessary competence to train staff efficiently and, ultimately, play a more prominent role in the in-service education of novice PHNs. The effecttiveness of this program was evaluated before and after conducting the program over a 1-year period. A total of 145 leaders working for local government agencies in Japan participated in the program, and data from 87 participants were analyzed. Before the training program, Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle activities were less frequent than after the program. Intervention using a leader-training program that combines group and on-the-job training is effective for PHN leaders.展开更多
The link between high temperatures and ambulance transports in Takamatsu area, Japan was investigated. Monthly observations for ambulance transports (2004-2008) were obtained from Fire Department Service in Takamatsu....The link between high temperatures and ambulance transports in Takamatsu area, Japan was investigated. Monthly observations for ambulance transports (2004-2008) were obtained from Fire Department Service in Takamatsu. Data of temperatures in Takamatsu area, Japan (2004-2008) were used by Japan Meteorological Agency. Effect of high temperatures on ambulance transports was analyzed. By using data from July to September, there were not clear differences of mean temperatures and ambulance transports among years. Ambulance transports were significantly correlated with parameters of temperatures. Correlation coefficient rate between ambulance transports and the mean temperature of maximum temperatures in a month was highest among parameters (r = 0.738, p = 0.0017). In addition, ambulance transports were also significantly correlated with the number of days over the level of 32?C in a month (r = 0.782, p = 0.0006). Higher temperatures were closely associated with higher ambulance transports in Takamatsu area, Japan.展开更多
