At the same time, the quantity and quality of translators will be faced with more and more requirements of the employment market. Therefore, as a compulsory and main course for English majors in many colleges and universities, interpretation teaching has been challenged for a long time. How to train a great number of qualified interpreters rapidly and effectively has become an urgent issue. Based on reviewing the theory of Skopos theory and analyzing the status quo of interpretation teaching for undergraduate English majors, some new thoughts for interpretation teaching are proposed.展开更多

In this study, the sequencing of ST and CI teaching is explored to proof that starting ST teaching first is more logical. Gile's effort model is used to explain the similarities and differences of ST and CI and to set up possible effect of ST on CI. With the rapid development of interpretation training,studies on interpreting teaching are becoming more and more signif-icant both theoretically and practically.This paper reviews 106 papers on interpreting teaching ...With the rapid development of interpretation training,studies on interpreting teaching are becoming more and more signif-icant both theoretically and practically.This paper reviews 106 papers on interpreting teaching from 2008 to 2017 from the per-spectives of publication time,source,research method and theme.Through bibliometric analysis,this paper draws the followingconclusions:(1)Domestic research on interpreting teaching has developed steadily in the past decade.(2)The majority studies fo-cus on teaching methods and strategies,general description of interpreting teaching,teaching model and teaching materials.(3)Current research has made some achievements,but room is still left for more comprehensive research topics,more scientific re-search methods,more specific research content,and more complete research objects.Based on the status quo of interpreting teach-ing studies,this paper proposes some implications for future studies.展开更多
