This study adopts the grounded theory approach to critically examine the essence and implementation of Ideological and Political Education(IPE)within college English curricula at Chinese Universities.We analyzed a corpus of 80 award-winning lesson plans from the“Teaching Star Competition”held by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press to establish specific constituents that comprise IPE and identify the instructional methodologies incorporated in the teaching process.The research shows that IPE strategically merges language proficiency training with civic education,aiming to cultivate a strong national identity,solid cultural pride,and global competencies.To be more detailed,the core categories of IPE encapsulate critical thinking,professional ethics,and cross-cultural communication skills,which are based on the innovative use of technological resources and adaptive pedagogical strategies.IPE has also elaborated on the comprehensive assessment mechanisms to measure cognitive and affective outcomes,making it a multidimensional activity.Following a three-stage coding process,this study aims to contribute to this discussion regarding ideological and political education integrated into Chinese higher education institutions.The finding and conclusion in this study drawn for future curriculum developments and reformulation of educational policy suggest ways IPE could better serve in fostering well-rounded individuals capable of contributing to national and global contexts. 展开更多

Therefore, the comprehensive quality of university students shows the level of higher education. Ecological literacy is the basic literacy of college students under the background of green development to build socialism with Chinese characteristics. The green development education is based on the research idea of the relationship between the individual and the surrounding environment in ecology, which requires respecting the subjectivity of the active object, paying attention to the integrity and connection of the object. Compared with the traditional education, green development education pays more attention to the cultivation of moral quality and sound personality of the educated, and it can make the students understand the ecological environment. Under the premise of ecological system and the mechanism of biological growth and development, respect and love of life are formed naturally, and then the universal concern for environment and others is formed. College students, as advanced groups of young people, are leading the social fashion and influencing the social ethical environment. Ecological literacy is the new requirement of the times for college students. We should integrate the education of green development into the ideological education,make great efforts to shape the ecological ethical system of college students, and cultivate their ecological consciousness, ecological thinking and behavior habits. “大思政课”是思政课改革创新的一个新兴议题,“大思政课”建设是新时代推动用党的创新理论铸魂育人的重要抓手。学术界对“大思政课”的关注大致经历了“理论性和实践性相统一“办”思政课”根本遵循的把握与坚持、“跟现实结合起来... “大思政课”是思政课改革创新的一个新兴议题,“大思政课”建设是新时代推动用党的创新理论铸魂育人的重要抓手。学术界对“大思政课”的关注大致经历了“理论性和实践性相统一“办”思政课”根本遵循的把握与坚持、“跟现实结合起来“用”好“大思政课”善用之道的思考与探索、“坚持用心“讲”好“大思政课”大道理”本质追寻的挖掘与阐发以及“以全党全社会之力“建”好大思政课”体系”的拓展与升华四个阶段。就“大思政课”的研究论域来看,主要包括必要性、核心要义、范畴关系、基本特征、原则方法与实践理路六个方面。虽然“大思政课”研究取得了一定成绩,但仍有深化与发展的空间。面向未来,学术界可以从深化核心要义研究、加强实践教学研究、推进体制机制研究与强化技术赋能研究四个维度对该议题进行深入探讨,四个维度分别关乎“大思政课”的基础性、规范性、系统性与前沿性问题。 展开更多

思想政治教育本科专业高质量发展,既是新时代新征程党的思想政治教育理论创新发展的重大时代课题,也是服务当前党和国家事业发展的应有之义,是培养引领与支撑中国式现代化发展创新人才的关键。研究设计自制问卷,采取非概率随机抽样和典... 思想政治教育本科专业高质量发展,既是新时代新征程党的思想政治教育理论创新发展的重大时代课题,也是服务当前党和国家事业发展的应有之义,是培养引领与支撑中国式现代化发展创新人才的关键。研究设计自制问卷,采取非概率随机抽样和典型代表选取相结合的方法对师生开展调研,调查内容主要包括思想政治教育本科专业课程设置、教材建设和人才培养。从调查结果看,师生对思想政治教育本科专业的质量基本持肯定态度,但也认为在新时代中国式现代化建设过程中,重庆市思想政治教育本科专业尚存不适应高质量发展的共性问题。具体表现为:思想政治教育本科专业存在专业发展不平衡、课程设置参差不齐、教材使用不够规范、人才培养质量不高等问题,不能适应当前国家重大战略需求。针对调研发现的问题,提出如下建议:制定“重庆市高校思想政治教育本科专业高质量发展实施方案”,提升专业整体能力;组织编写重庆市高校思想政治教育本科专业基础教材,强化专业基础规范;优化重庆市高校思想政治教育本科专业课程设置,提振人才培养质量;切实抓好重庆市高校思想政治教育本科专业高质量发展学习研讨,优化思想政治教育本科专业发展格局,最终实现思想政治教育本科专业高质量发展。 展开更多

教育安全国家将教育战略规划纳入国家经济和军事战略规划,通过提升人力资本和塑造意识形态两条路径,将科学、数学和意识形态的教学置于学校课程中心。美国作为典型的“教育安全国家”,在不同的大国竞争时期,其教育发展战略具有不同的时... 教育安全国家将教育战略规划纳入国家经济和军事战略规划,通过提升人力资本和塑造意识形态两条路径,将科学、数学和意识形态的教学置于学校课程中心。美国作为典型的“教育安全国家”,在不同的大国竞争时期,其教育发展战略具有不同的时代特征,在美苏冷战时期,注重通过教育助力其与苏联展开意识形态和军事领域的竞争;在中美竞争时期,侧重于帮助其保持全球霸主地位和遏制中国发展,其内容与手段也有所变化,且更为重视人力资本的提升。但美国的教育发展战略也体现出了基本逻辑,即通过STEM教育、关键外语教育等战略提升人力资本,通过公民教育与美国历史教育、国际教育战略等手段塑造意识形态,以实现其赋能国家竞争力提升和维护国家安全的目的。 展开更多
