Jenner’s and Wang Yitong’s translations of Luoyang Jialan Ji (547 AD) from a multidimensional perspective. Statistics show that both the two translations belong to the General Narrative Exposition Register. However, there are significant discrepancies between the two versions in Dimension 1 “Involved versus Informational Production”, Dimension 4 “Overt Expression of Persuasion” and Dimension 5 “Abstract versus Non-Abstract Information”. The differences in Dimension 2 “Narrative versus Non-Narrative Concerns” and Dimension 3 “Explicit versus Situation-Dependent Reference” are not that significant. It is found that in Dimension 1, the information density of Wang’s version is much higher than that of Jenner’s. In Dimension 4, Wang’s version contains more overt persuasive effort than Jenner’s. In Dimension 5, the positive and negative contrast between the two versions indicates that Wang’s version provides information in a more abstract way, whereas Jenner’s in a relatively non-abstract way. Combined with typical examples in the two translation versions, this study is hoped to help better understand the translations of Luoyang Jialan Ji and conduct future studies on the translation styles of the two translators.展开更多

The results showed that during the 16 years the landscape pattern in the district had changed significantly. (a) From the perspective of patch category, areas of arable land, woodland and grassland decreased unceasingly, and arable land accounted for the largest reduction from 488.15 km 2 in 1993 down to 324.37 km 2 in 2009, witnessing a reduction rate of 33.56%. But the patch quantity and fragmentation increased, patch connectivity reduced. Spatial pattern of construction land expanded and its area witnessed a significant increase of 147.05%. Patch cohesion index increased and connectivity grew better. (b) From the perspective of overall landscape, patch quantity, contagion and perimeter-area fractal dimension decreased, patch shape became simple, the Shannon’s diversity index, Shannon’s evenness index and splitting index increased, landscape heterogeneity rose. With the rapid social and economic development, landscape pattern will be more and more influenced by human behaviors展开更多

Despite this growing scientific interest, essential questions such as to what extent a Taiji course may exert noticeable effects in participants' everyday life, what these effects are, and how and where potential transfer effects occur, have hardly been considered. The aim of our study was to explore transfer effects from a Taiji course into participants' daily lives. METHODS: We conducted a longitudinal observational study in 45 healthy participants at the end of their three-month Taiji beginner course (tpl) and at two months (tp2) as well as one year after course completion (tp3). Participants were asked to report their Taiji practice behavior at all time points, as well as to rate and describe perceived transfer effects of Taiji course contents on their daily life at tpl and tp3. RESULTS: Transfer effects were reported by 91.1% of all respondents after course completion (tpl) and persisted in 73.3% at the one-year follow-up assessment (tp3), counting "increase of self-efficacy", "improvement of stress management", and "increase of body awareness" as the most frequently mentioned effects. Transfer effects predominantly occurred in participants' work and social environments, as well as during everyday activities in public areas. While self- reliant Taiji practice frequency significantly decreased from 82.2% at tpl to 55.6% at tp3 (P 〈 0.001), the magnitude of self-reported transfer effects did not (P = 0.35). As explorative analyses revealed, regular Taiji course attendance was highly correlated with stronger transfer effects at tpl (r = 0.51; P 〈 0.001) and tp3 (r = 0.35; P = 0.020). Participants reporting high self-reliant Taiji practice frequency at tp2 were likely to maintain a regular practice routine at tp3 (r = 0.42; P 〈 0.004), whereas self-reliant practice frequency and transfer effects at tpl were positively correlated with self-reliant practice frequency at tp3 on a trend level (r 〈 0.27; P 〉 0.08). CONCLUSION: Our data underline the importance of regular course participation for pronounced and long lasting transfer effects into participants' everyday life. We discuss that several context and process-related aspects of a Taiji intervention are potentially relevant factors for enhancement of transfer effect.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common digestive system cancers with high mortality rates worldwide. The main ingredients in Mu Ji Fang Granules(MJF)are alkaloids, flavonoids, and polysaccharides.MJF has been used in the clinical treatment of hepatitis, cirrhosis and HCC for more than 30 years.Few previous studies have focused on the mechanism of MJF on tumor immunology in the treatment of HCC.AIM To explore the mechanism of action of MJF on tumor immunology in the treatment of HCC.METHODS The absorbable ingredients of MJF were identified using Molecule Network related to High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Electron Spray Ionization-Time of Flight-Mass Spectrometry, and hub potential anti-HCC targets were screened using network pharmacology and pathway enrichment analysis.Forty male mice were randomly divided into the Blank,Model, and MJF groups(1.8,5.4,and 10.8 g/kg/d)following 7 d of oral administration.Average body weight gain, spleen and thymus indices were calculated, tumor tissues were stained with hematoxylin and eosin, and Interferon gamma(IFN-γ),Tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α),Interleukin-2,aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase,alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),Fas,and FasL were measured by Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay.Relevant mRNA expression of Bax and Bcl2 was evaluated by Real Time Quantitative PCR(RTqPCR)and protein expression of Transforming growth factorβ1(TGF-β1)and Mothers against decapentaplegic homolog(SMAD)4 was assessed by Western blotting. The HepG2 cell line was treated with 10 mg/mL,20 mg/mL,30 mg/mL,40 mg/mL of MJF,and another 3 groups were treated with TGF-β1 inhibitor(LY364947)and different doses of MJF.Relevant mRNA expression of TNF-α,IFN-γ,Bax and Bcl2 was evaluated by RT-qPCR and protein expression of TGF-β1,SMAD2,p-SMAD2,SMAD4,and SMAD7 was assessed by Western blotting.RESULTS It was shown that MJF improved body weight gain and tumor inhibition rate in H22 tumorbearing mice, protected immune organs and liver function, reduced the HCC indicator AFP,affected immunity and apoptosis, and up-regulated the TGF-β1/SMAD signaling pathway,by increasing the relative expression of TGF-β1,SMAD2,p-SMAD2 and SMAD4 and decreasing SMAD7,reducing immune factors TNF-αand IFN-γ,decreasing apoptosis cytokines Fas,FasL and Bcl2/Bax,and inhibiting the effect of LY364947 in HepG2 cells.CONCLUSION MJF inhibits HCC by activating the TGF-β1/SMAD signaling pathway, and affecting immune and apoptotic cytokines, which may be due to MJF adjusting immune escape and apoptosis.

文摘in recent years research investigating various health benefits of Taiji practice has markedly increased. We discuss that several context and process-related aspects of a Taiji intervention are potentially relevant factors for enhancement of transfer effect.
文摘Scholarly research regarding Ruan Ji 阮籍 has predom inantly revolved either around his five-word Yonghuai Poetry( Poems from my Heart,詠懷詩). From the perspective of Escape and Escapism, the paper we call the imagery in Ruan Ji's poetry, including his Fu-Poetry,four-word Poems as well as five-word poems,is escapist imagery. Ruan Ji has a kind of escapism complex which the paper talks over by case studies,i. e."Dongping fu"东平赋,four-word Poem IX and Poem XIII,and five-word Poem I and Poem LX X IX to find a new perspective to read Ruan Ji. This escapism complex is closely connected to Ruan Ji's unique mode of existence.
