Operations are divided into dependent operations and independent operations with the idea of subsection, and corresponding scheduling strategy is put forward according to operation characteristic in the segment and the complementarities of identical function machines. Forward greedy rule is adopted mainly for dependent operations to make operations arranged in the right position of machine selected, then each operation can be processed as early as possible, and the total processing time of job can be shortened as much as possible. For independent operations optimum scheduling rule is adopted mainly, the inserting position of operations will be determined according to the gap that the processing time of operations is subtracted from idle time of machine, and the operation will be inserted in the position with minimal gap. Experiments show, under the same conditions, the result that operations are scheduled according to the object function constructed, and the scheduling strategy adopted is better than the result that operations are scheduled according to efficiency scheduling algorithm.展开更多

文摘Considering the complex constraint between operations in nonstandard job shop scheduling problem (NJSSP), critical path of job manufacturing tree is determined according to priority scheduling function constructed. Experiments show, under the same conditions, the result that operations are scheduled according to the object function constructed, and the scheduling strategy adopted is better than the result that operations are scheduled according to efficiency scheduling algorithm.
文摘Industry 4.0 production environments and smart manufacturing systems integrate both the physical and decision-making aspects of manufacturing operations into autonomous and decentralized systems. One of the key aspects of these systems is a production planning, specifically,Scheduling operations on the machines. To cope with this problem, this paper proposed a Deep Reinforcement Learning with an Actor-Critic algorithm(DRLAC).We model the Job-Shop Scheduling Problem(JSSP)as a Markov Decision Process(MDP),represent the state of a JSSP as simple Graph Isomorphism Networks(GIN)to extract nodes features during scheduling, and derive the policy of optimal scheduling which guides the included node features to the best next action of schedule. In addition,we adopt the Actor-Critic(AC)network’s training algorithm-based reinforcement learning for achieving the optimal policy of the scheduling. To prove the proposed model’s effectiveness, first,we will present a case study that illustrated a conflict between two job scheduling, secondly,we will apply the proposed model to a known benchmark dataset and compare the results with the traditional scheduling methods and trending approaches. The numerical results indicate that the proposed model can be adaptive with real-time production scheduling, where the average percentage deviation(APD)of our model achieved values between 0.009 and 0.21 comparedwith heuristic methods and values between 0.014 and 0.18 compared with other trending approaches.

文摘The strong non-deterministic polynomial-hard( NP-hard)character of job shop scheduling problem( JSSP) has been acknowledged widely and it becomes stronger when attaches the nowait constraint, which widely exists in many production processes, such as chemistry process, metallurgical process. However, compared with the massive research on traditional job shop problem, little attention has been paid on the no-wait constraint. Therefore,in this paper, we have dealt with this problem by decomposing it into two sub-problems, the timetabling and sequencing problems,in traditional frame work. A new efficient combined non-order timetabling method, coordinated with objective of total tardiness,is proposed for the timetabling problems. As for the sequencing one,we have presented a modified complete local search with memory combined by crossover operator and distance counting. The entire algorithm was tested on well-known benchmark problems and compared with several existing algorithms.Computational experiments showed that our proposed algorithm performed both effectively and efficiently.

文摘Due to the stubborn nature of dynamic job shop scheduling problem,a novel ant colony coordination mechanism is proposed in this paper to search for an optimal schedule in dynamic environment. In ant colony coordination mechanism, the dynamic job shop is composed of several autonomous ants. These ants coordinate with each other by simulating the ant foraging behavior of spreading pheromone on the trails,by which they can make information available globally, and further more guide ants make optimal decisions. The proposed mechanism is tested by several instances and the results confirm the validity of it.
文摘Job shop scheduling problem is typically a NP-Hard problem. In the recent past efforts put by researchers were to provide the most generic genetic algorithm to solve efficiently the job shop scheduling problems. Less attention has been paid to initial population aspects in genetic algorithms and much attention to recombination operators. Therefore authors are of the opinion that by proper design of all the aspects in genetic algorithms starting from initial population may provide better and promising solutions. Hence this paper attempts to enhance the effectiveness of genetic algorithm by providing a new look to initial population. This new technique along with job based representation has been used to obtain the optimal or near optimal solutions of 66 benchmark instances which comprise of varying degree of complexity.

文摘An effective heuristic algorithm for solving the minimum makespan problem of job shop scheduling is presented. With a given feasible solution as a start point, we use Taboo Search technique to get a schedule for each neighbor of all its neighbors, and select the best one of the schedules as the new start point. We repeat the procedure, unless the new start point is not better than the proceeding one. To make sure of better results, we introduce reverse technique to the algorithm as well. The computational experiments of the 45 standard instances show that our algorithm yields better results than TSAB algorithm.

文摘To solve job shop scheduling problem, a new approach-DNA computing is used in solving job shop scheduling problem. The approach using DNA computing to solve job shop scheduling is divided into three stands. Finally, optimum solutions are obtained by sequencing A small job shop scheduling problem is solved in DNA computing, and the "operations" of the computation were performed with standard protocols, as ligation, synthesis, electrophoresis etc. This work represents further evidence for the ability of DNA computing to solve NP-complete search problems.

文摘A new local search method with hybrid neighborhood for Job shop scheduling problem is developed. The proposed hybrid neighborhood is not only efficient in local search, but also can help overcome entrapments while search procedure get trapped at local optima and carry the search to areas of the feasible set with better prospect. New strategies used for breaking out of entrapments are presented and they are helpful for the procedure to improve local optima. A performance comparison of the proposed method with some best-performing algorithms on all 10-job, 10-machine benchmark problems and the other two problems generated by Fisher and Thompson (ie., FT6 and FT20)is made. The experiment results show the better optimal performance of the proposed algorithm.
文摘The classical job shop scheduling problem(JSP) is the most popular machine scheduling model in practice and is known as NP-hard.The formulation of the JSP is based on the assumption that for each part type or job there is only one process plan that prescribes the sequence of operations and the machine on which each operation has to be performed. However,JSP with alternative machines for various operations is an extension of the classical JSP,which allows an operation to be processed by any machine from a given set of machines.Since this problem requires an additional decision of machine allocation during scheduling,it is much more complex than JSP.We present a domain independent genetic algorithm(GA) approach for the job shop scheduling problem with alternative machines. The GA is implemented in a spreadsheet environment. The performance of the proposed GA is analyzed by comparing with various problem instances taken from the literatures. The result shows that the proposed GA is competitive with the existing approaches.A simplified approach that would be beneficial to both practitioners and researchers is presented for solving scheduling problems with alternative machines.
