The rapid growth of the education industry and private education groups has brought the high-quality development of listed private education companies into focus for both the educational sector and the capital market.... The rapid growth of the education industry and private education groups has brought the high-quality development of listed private education companies into focus for both the educational sector and the capital market.This study employs the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)method to explore pathways to high-quality development for these companies.Necessity analysis confirms that no single factor guarantees a company’s success,highlighting the importance of multi-factor interactions.Three main paths to high-quality development are identified:human resource optimization,precise market positioning,and comprehensive advantage.Conversely,four development paths for non-high-level companies are identified:dual insufficiency in resources and market,high turnover and over-investment,scale expansion with resource mismatch,and inadequate human resource development.The findings indicate that optimal allocation of educational resources,precise market positioning,rational resource allocation,and staff training are crucial for achieving high-quality development.Robustness tests,which raise the consistency threshold,verify the reliability and stability of the results.These findings provide a reference for policymakers,investors,and managers in the education industry. 展开更多

Object:Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been taught widely in the both Eastern and Western world countries.This study compared the origin,student source,duration,and curriculum design of TCM higher education programs in China and five Western countries.Method:We searched the Internet and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database to gather relevant information.Result:All the six countries offer acupuncture and/or Chinese herbal medicine programs at universities and/or private schools.However,there are great large differences among them in the education of curriculum and TCM students enrollment and curriculum policies of TCM courses.Conclusions:There are large differences among their curriculum and enrollment policies.This comparison should provide information about the further development of international standards in TCM education. 展开更多

The objective of this paper is to compare the transformation of higher educations in Japan,South Korea,and Taiwan.The higher education systems in these societies were established and transformed from homologous Japanese Imperial Universities,and developed toward various higher education systems intermediated by policies under international and domestic contexts.Using second hand data,the results show the common characteristics of these cases from state-led national elitism to market-led massification by means of privatization and commercialization.However,some differences exist in their finances resources,enrolment rates,policies for tuition fees and mostly important,job rewards for those who obtain higher education degrees,comparing to high school ones.The rise of reflexivity further suggests that the right of access to higher education has been changed from institutional limited opportunities,to the actors who decide when,why,and how to accept higher education.The facts imply that the states have to adjust and re-define their roles in higher education,and diverse programs and learning methods will be provided for multiple students in the future. 展开更多

In China, WU Mi is a well-known poet, educator, and classical scholar. Honored as the father of the study on China's comparative literature, he was one of the earliest scholars who systematically applied the theories of Western literature and the method of comparative literature to research A Dream in Red Mansions. In his early life, he was enlightened by the Guan school (a school of Neo-Confucianism), and later he studied in the U.S. where he was deeply influenced by Irving Babbitt's new humanistic thought. Throughout his lifetime, he advocated the thought of having a thorough knowledge of both China and the West, and devoted himself to the cultivation of "well-informed and refined" qualities. In fact, WU Mi's thoughts owes greatly to the education he received in his childhood. This paper focuses on the investigation of the study life of WU Mi so as to find out the reasons behind his achievement of having a thorough knowledge of both China and the West. 展开更多

数字化转型框架是转型实践中的理论模型和方法工具,有利于引导组织机构明确战略愿景、核心使命,以及实现转型目标的核心场景、动力机制和关键能力,最终帮助组织机构制定转型行动计划。以国际上75个有关企业(37个)、政府(15个)和教育(23... 数字化转型框架是转型实践中的理论模型和方法工具,有利于引导组织机构明确战略愿景、核心使命,以及实现转型目标的核心场景、动力机制和关键能力,最终帮助组织机构制定转型行动计划。以国际上75个有关企业(37个)、政府(15个)和教育(23个)三类数字化转型框架为研究样本,采用NVivo12质性分析软件分别对三类数字化转型框架进行编码。在词频和聚类编码分析、比较的基础上,探讨了三类数字化转型框架的共性和个性特征。研究发现,三类数字化转型框架的共同关键行动域是“数字战略和规划、数字技术和数据、数字人才和文化、数字信息安全与伦理、数字生态系统”;在个性特征方面,企业数字化转型框架关注客户需求和创新商业模式;政府数字化转型框架注重利用数据革新公共服务模式及其流程;教育数字化转型框架聚焦在培养师生数字素养方面。镜鉴国际经验,基于数字文明时代、转型内涵、框架特征、行动要素、实践逻辑五大视域构建了教育数字化转型框架,框架应用的成效和转型智慧的涌现,必须彰显“使用者设计”,遵循“自发秩序原理”和教育数字化转型的底层逻辑。 展开更多

高等教育数字化转型是推动高等教育高质量发展的关键举措,也是加快实现高等教育现代化的必由之路。研究基于TOE框架,从技术、组织、环境三个维度构建高等教育数字化转型分析框架,提炼出数字技术嵌入、战略规划、数字素养与能力、开放教育资源... 高等教育数字化转型是推动高等教育高质量发展的关键举措,也是加快实现高等教育现代化的必由之路。研究基于TOE框架,从技术、组织、环境三个维度构建高等教育数字化转型分析框架,提炼出数字技术嵌入、战略规划、数字素养与能力、开放教育资源、协作共享五个条件变量。运用清晰集定性比较分析(csQCA)方法,以组态视角对我国28个高等教育数字化转型典型实践案例进行分析,探索条件变量之间的“多向互动”以及不同条件组合对高等教育数字化转型产生的“联合效应”。研究发现,单一条件无法单独构成高等教育数字化转型高水平建设的必要条件;高水平建设路径包括“合作驱动型”、“潜力发挥型”和“禀赋优越型”;在特定的客观禀赋条件下,数字技术嵌入和战略规划可以通过等效替代以“殊途同归”的方式推动高等教育数字化转型. 展开更多
