The K<SUP>?</SUP> nucleus differential elastic scattering cross section for <SUP>12</SUP>C and <SUP>40</SUP>Ca at is calculated with three momentum-dependent optical potential models, which are density-dependent, relativistic mean field, and hybrid model, respectively. It is found that the forms of momentum-dependent optical potential models proposed by us are reasonable and gain success in the calculations and the momentum-dependent hybrid model is the best model for the K<SUP>?</SUP> nucleus elastic scattering. 展开更多

Antikaon condensation and kaon and antikaon production in protoneutron stars are investigated in a chiral hadronic model (also referred to as the FST model in this paper). The effects of neutrino trapping on protone... Antikaon condensation and kaon and antikaon production in protoneutron stars are investigated in a chiral hadronic model (also referred to as the FST model in this paper). The effects of neutrino trapping on protoneutron stars are analyzed systematically. It is shown that neutrino trapping makes the critical density of K^- condensation delay to higher density and fifo condensation not occur. The equation of state (EOS) of (proto)neutron star matter with neutrino trapping is stiffer than that without neutrino trapping. As a result, the maximum masses of (proto)neutron stars with neutrino trapping are larger than those without neutrino trapping. If hyperons are taken into account, antikaon does not form a condensate in (proto)neutron stars. Meanwhile, the corresponding EOS becomes much softer, and the maximum masses of (proto)neutron stars are smaller than those without hyprons. Finally, our results illustrate that the Q values for K^+ and K^- production in (proto)neutron stars are not sensitive to neutrino trapping and inclusion of hyperons. 展开更多

The influence of the chiral mean field on the in-plane flow in heavy ion collisions at SIS energy is investigated within covariant kaon dynamics. For the kaon mesons inside the nuclear medium a quasi-particle picture... The influence of the chiral mean field on the in-plane flow in heavy ion collisions at SIS energy is investigated within covariant kaon dynamics. For the kaon mesons inside the nuclear medium a quasi-particle picture including scalar and vector fields is adopted and compared to the standard treatment with a static potential. It is confirmed that a Lorentz force from spatial component of the vector field provides an important contribution to the in-medium kaon dynamics and strongly counterbalances the influence of the vector potential on the in-plane flow. The calculated results show that the new FOPI data can be reasonably described using the Brown & Rho parametrization, which partly takes into account the correction of higher order contributions in the chiral expansion. This indicates that one can abstract the information on the kaon potential in a nuclear medium from the analysis of the in-plane flow. 展开更多

The results show that the presence of the Kerr-like medium and Stark shift has an important effect on the properties of the entropy and entanglement. Possibility of kaon-condensed phase in hyperon-mixed matter is considered as high-density multistrangeness system,which may be realized in neutron stars.The interaction model is based on chiral symmetry for kaon-baryon and kaon-kaon interactions,being combined with the relativistic mean-field theory for two-body baryonbaryon(B-B)interaction.In addition,the Lorentz invariant forms of many-baryon repulsive force(MBR)and threenucleon attractive force(TNA)are phenomenologically introduced,where unknown parameters are fixed to satisfy the saturation properties of symmetric nuclear matter and the causality condition that the sound velocity should be less than the speed of light.It is shown that the equation of state with kaon condensation in hyperon-mixed matter is stiff enough to be consistent with recent observations of massive neutron stars. 展开更多

In this paper,the gluon distribution is extracted from the KLR-AdS/CFT saturation model and used to investigate net-baryon and net-kaon rapidity distributions in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions.With the same parameters of the saturation model fitting to HERA data and an χ 2 analysis of the overall constant C,the theoretical results are in good agreement with RHIC data in Au+Au collisions at √ s = 0.2 TeV.Then,we present the predictive results for net-baryon rapidity distributions in central Pb+Pb collisions at LHC energies of √ s = 2.76,3.94,and 5.52 TeV,and give the corresponding values of dN/dy for net-baryon at y = 0. 展开更多

In the present paper, we investigate the kaon twist-3 distribution amplitudes (DAs)Cp within the QCD background field approach. The SUf (3)-breaking effects are studied in detail under a systematical way, especiaJ1y the sum rules for the moments of are obtained by keeping all the mass terms in the s-quark propagator consistently. After adding all the uncertainties in quadrature, the first two Gegenbauler moments of are a GeV. A detailed discussion on the properties tion parameters moments shows that the higher-order s-quark mass terms can indeed provide sizable contributions. Fhrthermore, based on the newly obtained moments, a model for the kaon twist-3 wavefunction with a better end-point behavior is constructed, which shall be useful for perturbative QCD calculations. As a byproduct, we make a discussion on the properties of the pion twist-3 DAs. 展开更多
