The fast convergence without initial value dependence is the key to solving large angle relative orientation.Therefore,a hybrid conjugate gradient algorithm is proposed in this paper.The concrete process is:①stochast...The fast convergence without initial value dependence is the key to solving large angle relative orientation.Therefore,a hybrid conjugate gradient algorithm is proposed in this paper.The concrete process is:①stochastic hill climbing(SHC)algorithm is used to make a random disturbance to the given initial value of the relative orientation element,and the new value to guarantee the optimization direction is generated.②In local optimization,a super-linear convergent conjugate gradient method is used to replace the steepest descent method in relative orientation to improve its convergence rate.③The global convergence condition is that the calculation error is less than the prescribed limit error.The comparison experiment shows that the method proposed in this paper is independent of the initial value,and has higher accuracy and fewer iterations.展开更多

The original motivation is that we found the standard Z refinement relation is not adequate or correct when considering specifications that have temporal relationships of operations. The concept of temporal state variables is introduced into Z. Then new implementation relations are defined and new refinement relations are deduced, mainly for temporal state variables to process temporal relationships of operations. We use state transition systems to abstract the temporal state transitions. A simple example is used to show the procedures of MVORM. Finally some directions of further work are forwarded.展开更多
Molecular packing patterns are crucial factors determining electron/energy transfer processes that are critical for the optoelectronic properties of organic thin film devices.Herein,the polarization-selective ultravio...Molecular packing patterns are crucial factors determining electron/energy transfer processes that are critical for the optoelectronic properties of organic thin film devices.Herein,the polarization-selective ultraviolet/infrared(UV/IR)mixed frequency ultrafast spectroscopy is applied to investigate the relative molecular orientations in two organic thin films of 7-(diethylamino)coumarin-3-carboxylic acid(DEAC)and perylene.The signal anisotropy changes caused by intermolecular energy/electron transfers are utilized to calculate the cross angles between the electronic transition dipole moment of the donor and the vibrational transition dipole moments of the acceptor,yielding the relative orientation between two adjacent molecules.Using this method,the relative orientation angle in DEAC film is determined to be 53.4°,close to 60°of its single crystalline structure,and that of the perylene film is determined to be 6.2°,also close to-0.2°of its single crystalline structure.Besides experimental uncertainties,the small difference between the angles determined by this method and those of single crystals also results from the fact that the thin film samples are polycrystalline where some of the molecules are amorphous.展开更多

In insects,the sense of smell is mainly mediated by olfactory receptors（Ors）.Olfactory co-receptor（Orco）,which is coexpressed with the Ors in almost all olfactory receptor neurons（ORNs）,is demonstrated to be an ...In insects,the sense of smell is mainly mediated by olfactory receptors（Ors）.Olfactory co-receptor（Orco）,which is coexpressed with the Ors in almost all olfactory receptor neurons（ORNs）,is demonstrated to be an essential component in the insect olfactory system.It can be potential target for developing novel olfactory-disruption strategy to control insect pests.In this study,two full-length cDNA sequences encoding Orcos（CmedOrco and ChsupOrco） were cloned from two Lepidopteran rice pests,the rice leaffolder,Cnaphalocrocis medinalis and the rice striped stem borer,Chilo suppressalis.The amino acid sequences of CmedOrco and ChsupOrco showed high similarity to the previously identified Orcos from other insect species. Bioinformatic prediction and cellular immunofluorescence indicated that CmedOrco and ChsupOrco were both seven-transmembrane proteins with intracellular N-termini and extracellular C-termini.mRNA expression levels of the two Orcos were much higher in male and female antennae than those in non-olfactory tissues,and the ChsupOrco transcripts reached a peak level in adults compared to other life stages.Our results provide a foundation from which it will be possible to elucidate the roles of Orco in moth olfaction and for the development of environment-friendly management strategies of these two rice insect pests.展开更多

Globally,small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs)are engines of economic growth and job creation.After the pandemic,innovation activities have become more critical than ever as a generator of competitiveness.Therefore...Globally,small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs)are engines of economic growth and job creation.After the pandemic,innovation activities have become more critical than ever as a generator of competitiveness.Therefore,we need to better understand the factors that lead to innovation in SMEs.This study aims to analyze the role of relational capital and technology orientation in innovation to appreciate its final impact on firm performance.The main results reveal a strong positive effect of relational capital on innovation,but the effect is not so strong as firm performance.We also found a strong positive effect of relational capital on technology orientation.Finally,we offer some clues in the debate on technology as a source of innovation and how relational capital and technology orientation are related to a firm’s performance.The results reveal significant implications for innovation policies and relational capital strategies for SMEs.展开更多

Multiple viewpoints oriented requirements method (MVORM) is a new method for resolving these problems. This paper develops two generic formal frameworks of MVORM, framework based on refinement relation (FBRR) and framework based on implementation relation (FBIR). They are generic, because no assumptions are made about the development process or the formal description languages to be used. Three kinds of specification relations and three kinds of specification transformations are discussed over FBIR and FBRR. This paper also compares the equivalence between FBIR and FBRR. We point out that an equivalent FBIR can be found for any FBRR, but reverse transformation is not always possible. We think FBIR is better than FBRR on most cases.展开更多
