In these two alloys, experimental maximum undercoolings of 304 K (0.18TL ) and 286K (0.17TL ) are achieved and the dendritic growth velocities attain 39.8 and 25.1 m/s, respectively. The transition of morphology from coarse dendrite into equiaxed structure occurs and the grain size of the a (Ni) phase decreases remarkably when the undercooling increases. Both the lattice constant and microhardness increase obviously with the enhancement of undercooling. The enrichment of Cu and Sn solute contents reduces the dendritic growth velocity, while enhances the lattice constant and microhardness of a (Ni) phase.展开更多

The compositions and structures were studied by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope (HRTEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), X-Ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and in-situ DRIFTS spectroscopy of CO adsorption. Different from the formation of Au-Cu alloys on Cu2O cubes by the galvanic replacement reaction (ChemNanoMat 2 (2016) 861-865), metallic Au particles and positively-charged Au clusters form on Cu2O octahedra and rhombic dodecahedra at very small Au loadings and only metallic Au particles form at large Au loadings. Metallic Au particles on Cu2O octahedra and rhombic dodecahedra are more active in catalyzing the liquid phase aerobic oxidation reaction of benzyl alcohol than positively-charged Au clusters. These results demonstrate an obvious morphology effect of Cu2O nanocrystals on the liquid-solid interfacial reactions and prove oxide morphology as an effective strategy to tune the surface reactivity and catalytic performance. Experimental results show that at sufficiently low strain rates, the supercooled liquid of the fully amorphous alloy reveals Newtonian flow with a linear relationship between the flow stress and strain rate. As the strain rate is increased, a transition from linear Newtonian to nonlinear flow is detected, which can be explained by the transition state theory. Over the entire strain rate interval investigated, however, only nonlinear flow is present in the partially crystallized alloy, and the flow stress for each strain rate is much higher. It is found that the strain rate-stress relationship for the partially crystaltized alloy at the given temperature of 646 K also obeys the sinh law derived from the transition state theory, similar to that of the initial homogeneous amorphous alloy. Thus, it is proposed that the flow behavior of the nanocrystalline/amorphous composite at 646 K is mainly controlled by the viscous flow of the remaining supercooled liquid.展开更多

文摘The liquid state undercoolability and crystal growth kinetics of ternary Ni-5%Cu-5%Sn and Ni-10%Cu-10%Sn alloys are investigated by the glass fluxing method. The enrichment of Cu and Sn solute contents reduces the dendritic growth velocity, while enhances the lattice constant and microhardness of a (Ni) phase.

文摘A new complex [Cu(L)(1,10-phen)]n (1, L = N-3-pyridine sulfonyl amino acid) has been synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis, and its crystal belongs to monoclinic, space group P2Jc with a = 11.481 (2), b = 1 8.094(4), c = 8.5198(17) ]°, β= 102.26(3)°, V = 1729.5(6) ,/k3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.759 g/cm3, F(000) = 932, p = 1.422 mm-1, R = 0.0368 and wR = 0.0893. In 1, the Cu(ll) ion adopts a slightly distorted five-coordinated square pyramidal geometry. The L2- ligand adopts O of the carboxyl bridging adjacent Cu(Ⅱ)units to form an infinite chain structure along the c axis. Also, π-π stacking interactions between the adjacent chains expanded the 1-D structures into a 3-D supramolecular structure.

文摘A new Cu(Ⅱ) metal-organic coordination polymer, {[Cu2(tbip)2(bie)2]·H2O}n (1, H2tbip = 5-tert-butyl isophthalic acid, bie = 1,2-bis(imidazol-1 '-yl)ethane), was assembled under hydrothermal conditions by the reactions of Cu(Ⅱ) acetate with H2tbip and bie. Complex 1 was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Complex 1 crystallizes in triclinic, space group P1, with a = 9.9145(10), b = 13.2211(13), c = 15.4363(15) nm, a = 87.0250(10), β = 88.3220(10), γ = 83.8240(10)°, V= 2008.4(3) nm3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.505 Mg/m3, F(000) = 944, g = 1.125 mm^-1, S = 1.030, the final R = 0.0336 and wR = 0.0790. The results reveal that complex 1 is a two-dimensional layered structure. In addition, magnetic properties of I were also investigated.

文摘Au nanostructures were prepared on uniform Cu2O octahedra and rhombic dodecahedra via the galvanic replacement reaction between HAuCl 4 and Cu2O. 文摘The homogeneous plastic flow of fully amorphous and partially crystallized Zr(41.2)Ti(13.8)Cu(12.5)Ni(10)Be(22.5) bulk metallic glass (Vitl) has been investigated by compression tests at high temperatures in supercooled liquid region. Thus, it is proposed that the flow behavior of the nanocrystalline/amorphous composite at 646 K is mainly controlled by the viscous flow of the remaining supercooled liquid.
