Kachru世界英语理论述评

在吸收应用语言学和社会语言学研究成果的基础上,Kachru提出了他的世界英语理论。Kachru首先系统分析了英语在印度发生的变异。研究表明,这些变异是受印度社会和文化影响而形成的本土化变体,即印度英语。之后,他提出了World Englishes和同心圈模式。其核心思想是,英语全球化会分化出多种相互独立的英语变体,形成一个松散的"英语语言联合体"。但"英语语言联合体"不利于国际交流,跟全球化的大趋势是相违背的。

There are many English varieties in the world.China English has become one of them.Based on the Kachru's world English Theory, the thesis mainly discusses the characteristics of China English,and the distinctions between China English and Chinglish.Finally,the thesis points out acknowledge the existence of China English.
