Background and Objectives:Microneedling has been introduced as a new technique to address the growing concern of facial skin photoaging.Kangfuxin liquid has been found to promote the process of skin wound repair,inclu...Background and Objectives:Microneedling has been introduced as a new technique to address the growing concern of facial skin photoaging.Kangfuxin liquid has been found to promote the process of skin wound repair,including reducing inflammatory response,improving immunity and enhancing antioxidant levels.In this prospective randomized double-blinded study,we wanted to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Kangfuxin liquid combined with microneedling in treating facial skin photoaging.Methods:57 patients with facial skin photoaging were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group(28 cases)received microneedle therapy with Kangfuxin liquid,while the control group(29 cases)received microneedle therapy with physiological saline.The treatment interval was 4 weeks,and a total of 3 treatments were performed.Compare the VISIA scores of facial photoaging features such as wrinkles,texture,pores,spots and ultraviolet pigmentation between two groups of patients before and after treatment,Global Score for Photoaging,satisfaction evaluation,and record the occurrence of adverse reactions.Results:After treatment,the treatment group showed more significant improvement in wrinkles,texture,pores,spots and ultraviolet pigmentation,and the Global Score for Photoaging was better than the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate with improving skin in the treatment group was 85.71%,which was higher than 75.86%in the control group(P<0.05).Both groups did not experience adverse reactions such as skin infection,pigmentation or hypopigmentation,scar formation,or worsening of melasma.Conclusion:Kangfuxin liquid combined with microneedling therapy has a good improvement effect on facial skin photoaging,with a low incidence of adverse reactions and high patient satisfaction.It is worthy of clinical promotion.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the effect of Kangfuxin Solution(康复新液)combined with low-level laser therapy(LLLT)on cytokines and immune function in patients with radiation-induced oral mucositis.Methods:There were 84 na...Objective:To investigate the effect of Kangfuxin Solution(康复新液)combined with low-level laser therapy(LLLT)on cytokines and immune function in patients with radiation-induced oral mucositis.Methods:There were 84 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with oral mucositis after intensity-modulated radiation therapy(IMRT)were randomly divided into the control group(CG)and the observation group(OG),with 42 cases in each group.The CG was given LLLT,and the OG was treated with Kangfuxin Solution in addition to LLLT for 10 consecutive days.The healing time of oral mucosa,mucositis grading,oral pain scores,cytokines(interleukin-6,interleukin-1βand tumor necrosis factor-α)and T lymphocyte subsets were compared between the 2 groups before and after treatment.Results:The healing time of oral mucosa in the OG was(6.8±1.4)d,which was significantly shorter than(8.6±1.9)d in the CG(t=4.943,P<0.01).After treatment,the grading of oral mucositis in the OG was better than that in the CG,with a statistically significant difference(Z=2.942,P<0.05).The oral pain scores of the OG was lower than that in the CG at different time points after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(t=8.207,11.017,P<0.01).After treatment,the levels of IL-6,IL-1βand TNF-αin peripheral blood of the OG were significantly lower than those in the CG(t=5.217,2.775,4.053,P<0.01).There were statistically significant differences in CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+between the OG and the CG after treatment(t=5.692,6.093,3.658,P<0.01).Conclusion:Kangfuxin Solution combined with LLLT can significantly shorten the healing time of oral mucosal,reduce the grading of oral mucositis,relieve oral pain,reduce inflammatory response and improve the immune function of patients.展开更多

Methods: We searched The Cochanrane Library, Pubmed, EMbase, VIP, CNKI, CBM and WanFang Data from inception to December.2017, and retrospectively incorporated into the literature reference. And a systematic review of randomized controlled trials was performed. Meta-analysis was performed with RevMan5.3 software. Results: A total of 18 randomized controlled trials and 1417 patients were enrolled, among which 731 cases were in experimental group and 686 cases were in control group. The meta-analysis results revealed that the effectiveness of KFX on UC with retention enema was significantly superior to the controlled treatment (RR=1.22 95%CI: [1.16,1.27], Z=8.14, p〈0.00001). And, the score of quality of life was significantly increased after KFX treatment (MD=11.12, 95% CI [7.00, 15.23], Z=5.30, p〈0.00001). Conclusion: KFX on the treatment of UC with retention enema is potentially effective to improve patient's quality of life, and it is worth being popularized clinically. Depth researches and high quality randomized controlled trials on the efficacy of UC are necessary.展开更多

BACKGROUND The role of primary-level medical pharmacists in medical institutions in China is limited;therefore,it is necessary to explore the role of pharmacists in the process of drug treatment.CASE SUMMARY A Chinese...BACKGROUND The role of primary-level medical pharmacists in medical institutions in China is limited;therefore,it is necessary to explore the role of pharmacists in the process of drug treatment.CASE SUMMARY A Chinese pharmacist participated in the complete treatment of a patient with a duodenal ulcer.The rationale for drug treatment was evaluated,and adjustments were made to the antacid and anti-infective regimen,as well as the dose and frequency of administration.Body temperature,routine blood examination,and adverse drug reactions were strictly monitored.During treatment,the pharmacist recommended anti-infective therapy with ampicillin-sulbactam,which effectively controlled the infection.Additionally,the pharmacist suggested changing famotidine to lansoprazole for acid suppression and gastroprotective treatment,combined with Chinese patent medicine such as Kangfuxin Liquid.This is the first case report of a pharmacist in primary-level medical institutions adjusting drug use for patients with duodenal ulcer and pulmonary infection.CONCLUSION A pharmacist participated in the treatment process,provided individualized medication adjustment,and achieved good clinical results.展开更多
