This paper attempts to understand the Pt-like catalytic activity of transition metal carbide Ta4C_(3) for IRR(I_(3)^(-)reduction reaction)based on the correlation of adsorption energy to d-band center(εd).Ta4C_(3) wa...This paper attempts to understand the Pt-like catalytic activity of transition metal carbide Ta4C_(3) for IRR(I_(3)^(-)reduction reaction)based on the correlation of adsorption energy to d-band center(εd).Ta4C_(3) was prepared by carbothermal reduction method with a template.Its photoelectrochemical properties were investigated as a CE(counter electrode)in DSSC(dye-sensitized solar cell).Its surface electronic structures,including DOS(density of state)andεd,and adsorption energy were computed by first-principle DFT(density functional theory).In TMC(transition metal carbide)Ta4C_(3),the interaction between Ta and C atoms makes the d-band of Ta broaden and results in the downward shift of itsεd.A moderate absorption energy corresponding to theεd is achieved,which is the nature of the Pt-like catalytic activity of Ta4C_(3).Appropriate change of adsorption energy by adjustingεd is a promising strategy to improve catalytic activity.This work is of great significance to the fundamental and application researches.展开更多

To study the most favorable N2O adsorption model, ten typical adsorption cases (four for the parallel style and six for the vertical style) were proposed. The calculated results indicate that the parallel models are energetically preferred over the vertical models. The parallelly adsorbed N2O prefers to be dissociated on the surface, the dissociated O atom is combined at the fcc site, and the N-N piece is desorbed from the surface and forms N2 molecules. The comparison of the density of states of InN (0001) surface before and after N2O adsorption is analyzed in detail. Through the searching for transition state of decomposition reaction, a very low energy barrier of 45.0 KJ/mol is derived.展开更多

Brazil annually faces significant challenges with mass movements, particularly in areas with poorly constructed housing, inadequate engineering, and lacking sanitation infrastructure. Campos do Jordão, in Sã...Brazil annually faces significant challenges with mass movements, particularly in areas with poorly constructed housing, inadequate engineering, and lacking sanitation infrastructure. Campos do Jordão, in São Paulo state, is a city currently grappling with these issues. This paper details a study conducted within a pilot area in Campos do Jordão, where geophysical surveys and geotechnical borehole data were integrated. The geophysical surveys provided 2D profiles, and samples were collected to analyse soil moisture and plasticity. These datasets were combined using a Cokriging-based model to produce an accurate representation of the subsurface conditions. The enhanced modelling of subsurface variability facilitates a deeper understanding of soil behavior, which can be used to improve landslide risk assessments. This approach is innovative, particularly within the international context where similar studies often do not address the complexities associated with urban planning deficits such as those observed in some areas of Brazil. These conditions, including the lack of proper sanitation and irregular housing, significantly influence the geological stability of the region, adding layers of complexity to subsurface assessments. Adapting geotechnical evaluation methods to local challenges offers the potential to increase the efficacy and relevance of geological risk management in regions with similar socio-economic and urban characteristics.展开更多

[ Method] The water quality of two monitored sections in the mainstream of the Liaohe River from 2004 to 2010 was assessed by the fuzzy comprehensive appraisal combined with weighted average, and some practicable measures were put forward according to the assessment results. [ Result] From 2004 to 2010, the water quality of the Liaohe River mainstream varied from Grade II to III at Zhuershan section, and changed from Grade II to IV at Xing'an section, becom- ing better on the whole. In addition, the major factor influencing the water quality is the small content of dissolved oxygen (DO) in the water body. Meanwhile, the pollution of the water body mainly results from the discharge of organic matter consuming oxygen largely, and ammonia nitrogen should be paid more attention to. This essay offers a philosophical perspective that, in breaking with both the open and surreptitious dialectical method still so prominent in academic discourse, follows Heidegger in trying to conceive of a radically ...This essay offers a philosophical perspective that, in breaking with both the open and surreptitious dialectical method still so prominent in academic discourse, follows Heidegger in trying to conceive of a radically non-dialectical manner of approaching affirmation, negation, and neutrality. As with Heidegger, this is attempted through a turn towards art and the "emancipated contingency" that characterizes much creative production. In contrast to action and production within the knowledge economy, the creation of the artwork concerns a knowing of unknowingness (described by Maurice Blanchot as the neutral) that demands a rethink of action in relation to truth and errancy. Indeed, the very working of the work of art is conceived here as a truth that is precisely "set to work" (Heidegger) by errancy. Through a consideration of the essential difference between choice and decision and the different "beginning" of art that this suggests, the essay concludes with some reflections of the theme of art's fascination and the and the affirmation of the unknown.展开更多
A space called Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)cyber is a new environment where UAV,Ground Control Station(GCS)and business processes are integrated.Denial of service(DoS)attack is a standard network attack method,especia...A space called Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)cyber is a new environment where UAV,Ground Control Station(GCS)and business processes are integrated.Denial of service(DoS)attack is a standard network attack method,especially suitable for attacking the UAV cyber.It is a robust security risk for UAV cyber and has recently become an active research area.Game theory is typically used to simulate the existing offensive and defensive mechanisms for DoS attacks in a traditional network.In addition,the honeypot,an effective security vulnerability defense mechanism,has not been widely adopted or modeled for defense against DoS attack UAV cyber.With this motivation,the current research paper presents a honeypot game theorymodel that considersGCS andDoS attacks,which is used to study the interaction between attack and defense to optimize defense strategies.The GCS and honeypot act as defenses against DoS attacks in this model,and both players select their appropriate methods and build their benefit function models.On this basis,a hierarchical honeypot and G2A network delay reward strategy are introduced so that the defender and the attacker can adjust their respective strategies dynamically.Finally,by adjusting the degree of camouflage of the honeypot for UAV network services,the overall revenue of the defender can be effectively improved.The proposed method proves the existence of a mixed strategy Nash equilibrium and compares it with the existing research on no delay rewards and no honeypot defense scheme.In addition,this method realizes that the UAV cyber still guarantees a network delay of about ten milliseconds in the presence of a DoS attack.The results demonstrate that our methodology is superior to that of previous studies.展开更多
Energy and security remain the main two challenges in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs).Therefore,protecting these WSN networks from Denial of Service(DoS)and Distributed DoS(DDoS)is one of the WSN networks security task...Energy and security remain the main two challenges in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs).Therefore,protecting these WSN networks from Denial of Service(DoS)and Distributed DoS(DDoS)is one of the WSN networks security tasks.Traditional packet deep scan systems that rely on open field inspection in transport layer security packets and the open field encryption trend are making machine learning-based systems the only viable choice for these types of attacks.This paper contributes to the evaluation of the use machine learning algorithms in WSN nodes traffic and their effect on WSN network life time.We examined the performance metrics of different machine learning classification categories such asK-Nearest Neighbour(KNN),Logistic Regression(LR),Support Vector Machine(SVM),Gboost,Decision Tree(DT),Na飗e Bayes,Long Short Term Memory(LSTM),and Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP)on aWSN-dataset in different sizes.The test results proved that the statistical and logical classification categories performed the best on numeric statistical datasets,and the Gboost algorithm showed the best performance compared to different algorithms on average of all performance metrics.The performance metrics used in these validations were accuracy,F1-score,False Positive Ratio(FPR),False Negative Ratio(FNR),and the training execution time.Moreover,the test results showed the Gboost algorithm got 99.6%,98.8%,0.4%0.13%in accuracy,F1-score,FPR,and FNR,respectively.At training execution time,it obtained 1.41 s for the average of all training time execution datasets.In addition,this paper demonstrated that for the numeric statistical data type,the best results are in the size of the dataset ranging from3000 to 6000 records and the percentage between categories is not less than 50%for each category with the other categories.Furthermore,this paper investigated the effect of Gboost on the WSN lifetime,which resulted in a 32%reduction compared to other Gboost-free scenarios.展开更多

It highlights the combination of teaching culture with the training of the basic language skills, adding a cultural dimension to the language learning. This teaching method can fully arouse the students' attention to cultural learning and provide more meaningful activities to physically and mentally engage students both in class and after class. 文摘A space called Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)cyber is a new environment where UAV,Ground Control Station(GCS)and business processes are integrated.Denial of service(DoS)attack is a standard network attack method,especially suitable for attacking the UAV cyber.It is a robust security risk for UAV cyber and has recently become an active research area.Game theory is typically used to simulate the existing offensive and defensive mechanisms for DoS attacks in a traditional network.In addition,the honeypot,an effective security vulnerability defense mechanism,has not been widely adopted or modeled for defense against DoS attack UAV cyber.With this motivation,the current research paper presents a honeypot game theorymodel that considersGCS andDoS attacks,which is used to study the interaction between attack and defense to optimize defense strategies.The GCS and honeypot act as defenses against DoS attacks in this model,and both players select their appropriate methods and build their benefit function models.On this basis,a hierarchical honeypot and G2A network delay reward strategy are introduced so that the defender and the attacker can adjust their respective strategies dynamically.Finally,by adjusting the degree of camouflage of the honeypot for UAV network services,the overall revenue of the defender can be effectively improved.The proposed method proves the existence of a mixed strategy Nash equilibrium and compares it with the existing research on no delay rewards and no honeypot defense scheme.In addition,this method realizes that the UAV cyber still guarantees a network delay of about ten milliseconds in the presence of a DoS attack.The results demonstrate that our methodology is superior to that of previous studies.
文摘Energy and security remain the main two challenges in Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs).Therefore,protecting these WSN networks from Denial of Service(DoS)and Distributed DoS(DDoS)is one of the WSN networks security tasks.Traditional packet deep scan systems that rely on open field inspection in transport layer security packets and the open field encryption trend are making machine learning-based systems the only viable choice for these types of attacks.This paper contributes to the evaluation of the use machine learning algorithms in WSN nodes traffic and their effect on WSN network life time.We examined the performance metrics of different machine learning classification categories such asK-Nearest Neighbour(KNN),Logistic Regression(LR),Support Vector Machine(SVM),Gboost,Decision Tree(DT),Na飗e Bayes,Long Short Term Memory(LSTM),and Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP)on aWSN-dataset in different sizes.The test results proved that the statistical and logical classification categories performed the best on numeric statistical datasets,and the Gboost algorithm showed the best performance compared to different algorithms on average of all performance metrics.The performance metrics used in these validations were accuracy,F1-score,False Positive Ratio(FPR),False Negative Ratio(FNR),and the training execution time.Moreover,the test results showed the Gboost algorithm got 99.6%,98.8%,0.4%0.13%in accuracy,F1-score,FPR,and FNR,respectively.At training execution time,it obtained 1.41 s for the average of all training time execution datasets.In addition,this paper demonstrated that for the numeric statistical data type,the best results are in the size of the dataset ranging from3000 to 6000 records and the percentage between categories is not less than 50%for each category with the other categories.Furthermore,this paper investigated the effect of Gboost on the WSN lifetime,which resulted in a 32%reduction compared to other Gboost-free scenarios.

文摘Teaching target culture has been widely acknowledged as an indispensible component in the overall foreign language education. This paper presents a feasible way to effectively integrate cultural teaching into traditional classroom instruction by using Moran's theoretical frameworks, namely, the "Cultural Knowings Framework" and "Experiential Learning Cycle", as the foundation and guidance of the course design. It highlights the combination of teaching culture with the training of the basic language skills, adding a cultural dimension to the language learning. This teaching method can fully arouse the students' attention to cultural learning and provide more meaningful activities to physically and mentally engage students both in class and after class. By going through a series of assigned tasks individually or collectively, the students not only obtain the desired cultural knowledge but strengthen their language ability as well as other skills pivotal and necessary for becoming independent and lifetime learners.
