Morphological and genetic comparison of two strains of a Prorocentrum species isolated from Zhejiang coastal water of China and Masan Bay of Korea

In this paper, we examined the detailed morphology of two strains of Prorocentrum isolated from the coastal waters of Zhejiang (Wenling area), China, and Masan Bay of Korea. A taxonomic comparison was made among strains on the basis of morphological and molecular data. The cellular dimensions of the Chinese Wenling strain (LAMB090508) and Korean strain (PDKS0206) were similar and the cells of both strains were of asymmetric and elongated shape. The posterior end of most cells was rounded. Megacytic zones of aged cells were broader with dense tiny knobs. The roundish nucleus was located in the posterior part of the cell. A few irregular shaped chloroplasts were distributed within the cell. The nucleotide similarity of the two strains, determined from the 5.8S rDNA-ITS sequences, was 99.83%. The comparative results of morphology and molecular analysis suggest that both strains isolated from China and Korea were the identical species, Prorocentrum donghaiense Lu.

Emergence of H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza in Democratic People's Republic of Korea

In the past decade,there has been extensive global surveillance for highly pathogenic avian influenza(HPAI)infection in both animals and humans,however,few studies on epidemiology of avian influenza in Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK)were published.During the period 2013–2014,HPAI H5N1 viruses were detected with outbreaks in domestic poultry in DPRK.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the hemagglutinin gene of all samples belonged to clade 2.3.2.1c with high homology.The HPAI H5N1 virus found in ducks at the Tudan Duck Farm in 2013 was might introduced by migratory birds and then led to the outbreaks on neighboring chicken farms in 2014.These data provide direct evidence for the transmission of avian influenza viruses from wild birds to waterfowl to terrestrial birds.Therefore,the monitoring and control of influenza virus in ducks must be given top priority,which are essential components to prevent and control HPAI.

Korea＇s Future Policy Recommendation for the Promotion of Eco-Friendly Vehicles in Metropolitan Area

This paper introduces and analyzes Korea＇s NGV （natural gas vehicles） policy for soot-free bus fleet which intends to promote CNG （compressed natural gas） bus in metropolitan area for the reduction of air pollution from road sector. At the early stage, Korean goverrmaent established various supporting policy systems to encourage public transportation companies to purchase CNG buses as a means to replace diesel buses. It was evaluated as very successful with making net economic benefit of CNG bus promotion policy. During the 2nd stage, Korean government implemented CNG hybrid bus promotion policy to further reduce both air pollution and greenhouse gas. Now, a new social demand for the vehicles is zero-emission vehicles. The author asserts that current FCEV （fuel cell electric vehicle） should be considered as an alternative to zero-emission vehicles in Korea and suggests policy recommendation for the promotion of FCEV by referring the current CNG bus promotion policy in public transportation sector.

Korean New Women： Korean New Women＇s Fluctuation in International and Korean Contexts

In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, ＂New Woman＂ was an international phenomenon. Although various national contexts contributed many different shades of meaning to the concept of ＂New Woman＂ in each country, New Women across the world shared common ground. In the 1920s, when American New Women experimented with their new identity, New Women in Korea also discovered a new sense of selfhood and confidence to make inroads into public spheres. Under Japan＇s colonial rule （1910-1945）, Korean women, valued as a national hidden reservoir, gained access to education and made attempts to remove traditional constraints. Despite different situations surrounding Korean and American New Women, their recognition, pursuit, and places in history echoed one another＇s. The bold and innovative nature of Korean New Women has attracted much academic as well as public attention. Most of the rich body of scholarship on this topic focuses on famous figures whose flamboyant defiance met a tragic end or on the sacrifices and failures of New Women＇s pursuit in confronting nationalism. The nation is an important and useful framework in history, but additional factors should be considered for a better understanding of New Women. Not only does this paper consider national context, it also pays much needed attention to an international connection in women＇s history.

The Dutch, The World Tallest Are Shrinking in the Latest Decade or So: The Lessons from the Case of South Korea and Japan in North-East Asia

The Dutch have been the world tallest since the 1980s but plateaued in height for the past few decades. A century and a half ago, young men at 20 in the Netherlands were 165 cm in mean height, as tall as men in France and Portugal. They grew to 178 cm, as tall as Norwegian in 1960, and 183 cm in mean height in the 1990s and levelled off. It is most likely that the Dutch may have nearly attained genetic potential as a human being. The statue is a net measure that captures the supply of inputs to health. Based on the changes in per capita supply of protein from animal products, FAOSTAT, the Dutch seem to have reached the highest level in per capita supply of animal protein. Increases in the supply of protein, however, do not result in increasing human height, if consumption of other “essential nutrients” is insufficient (Blum, 2013;Mori, 2018)[1][2]. With the close case studies of Japan and South Korea in respect of food consumption specifically by children in growing ages, the author suspects that children in the Netherlands may have been insufficient in the supply of vegetables, “essential nutrients” on the top of animal products.

Status and Perspective of Demand Resource Market in Korea＇s Electric Power Industry

This paper calls attention to the demand resource market in Korea which opened in 2008 to reduce customers＇ consumption at critical times and, at the same time, secure the load that can be shut down. In Korea, the demand resource market is operated by either forward market or spot market. The discussion here is limited to the operations of the demand resource spot market. As the demand response program has matured in the smart grid environment, KPX （Korea Power Exchange） will shortly complete the development of the real-time demand resource trading system, taking into account an integrated dispatch system.

NPTⅡ蛋白质在转基因水稻中的表达特征研究

nptⅡ编码新霉素磷酸转移酶,是转基因实验中最常用的筛选标记基因之一.本研究中,表达了重组新霉素磷酸转移酶(NPTⅡ)蛋白质,制备了单克隆抗体,建立了用免疫印迹检测转基因水稻中NPTⅡ蛋白质的方法,调查了NPTⅡ蛋白质的表达特征,包括遗传特征、表达时空特征、表达丰度和亚细胞定位等.结果表明,该方法可检测到单粒稻米的0.25%(约0.025 mg)样品中的NPTⅡ蛋白质,NPTⅡ的表达符合显性遗传规律,根据NPTⅡ的表达可对转基因T1代种子进行阴阳性及纯合株系的鉴定,对T1幼苗中NPTⅡ丰度的分析可为纯合单株的鉴定提供参考信息.定量分析表明苗期叶片中NPTⅡ蛋白质的含量约为鲜重的0.08‰.在Ca MV-35S启动子驱动下NPTⅡ蛋白质在水稻苗期、成株期的叶片和根部组织中表达量较高,而在分蘖期、孕穗期较低,NPTⅡ在不同时期的根、茎、叶、穗子、花及种子等组织中均有表达,只是在分蘖节、茎节、穗轴和花药等组织中表达量相对较低.此外,NPTⅡ蛋白质的表达主要定位在细胞质中.综上所述,本研究建立了具有应用价值的检测NPTⅡ蛋白质的免疫印记方法并系统揭示了其在水稻中的表达特征.

非霍奇金淋巴瘤患者血清LDH、β_2-MG、CD44、Npt水平的动态检测和临床相关研究

目的 观察非霍奇金淋巴瘤 (NHL)患者血清乳酸脱氢酶 (LDH)、β2 -微球蛋白 (β2 -MG)、CD4 4及新喋呤 (Npt)水平的动态变化及其与病情、疗效和预后的关系。方法 LDH测定采用BeckmanCX5型生化分析仪自动检测 ;β2 -MG采用RIA法测定 ;CD4 4及Npt采用ELISA法进行测定。对 4 6例NHL患者治疗前后血清指标进行动态检测。结果 LDH ,β2 -MG ,CD4 4 ,Npt在化疗前不同组织分型的NHL患者中表达不同。LDH ,β2 -MG在低度恶性患者中表达较低 ,中度恶性患者中较高 ,但统计学处理P >0 0 5 ;高度恶性患者表达与中度恶性患者相比P <0 0 1。CD4 4 ,Npt表达低度恶性患者与中度恶性患者 ,中度恶性患者与高度恶性患者比较P <0 0 1。CD4 4 ,Npt,β2 -MG在化疗前Ⅲ +Ⅳ期患者的表达比Ⅰ +Ⅱ期患者高 ,P <0 0 1;LDH在Ⅲ +Ⅳ期患者的表达与Ⅰ +Ⅱ期患者比较 ,P >0 0 5。经两疗程IEVP(异环磷酰胺、表阿霉素、长春地辛、泼尼松 )方案化疗后的NHL患者 ,LDH ,β2 -MG ,CD4 4 ,Npt各数值均有明显改变 ,与化疗前相比P <0 0 1。在三种治疗结果中 ,CR组患者四项指标化疗后与化疗前比较P <0 0 1,PR组患者LDH表达化疗后与化疗前比较P >0 0 5 ,其他三项指标化疗后与化疗前比较P <0 0 1,NC组患者LDH ,β2 -MG水平化疗后与化疗前?

A comparative study on serologic profiles of virus hepatitis B

INTRODUCTIONHepatitis B viral infection, one of the most-prevalent liver disorders in China and Korea, is aserious infectious disease as it has the potential ofprogressing into liver cirrhosis and primary hepaticcarcinoma. China and Korea both belong to high-risk endemic regions of viral hepatitis[1]. TheHBsAg positive rates in China ranged from 6.9% -17.9% by age, race and test methods[2-5].

中朝克拉通东部上地幔精细圈层结构:来自朝鲜核爆源深地震测深剖面的约束

晚中生代以来,中朝克拉通经历了一系列强烈构造和岩浆事件,岩石圈性质发生显著变化.为此,中朝克拉通“破坏”一词被提出,但破坏形态主要来自地表地质、地球化学、地壳结构和上地幔较大尺度的地震学成像等的约束.因较大能量的人工震源方法较难在人口密集的华北地区实施,基于深地震测深剖面对整个上地幔精细圈层结构的探究仍限于较少地区.为此,我们根据中国地震台网和部分流动台站记录的2017年9月3日朝鲜地下核试验地震数据,利用宽角反射/折射成像方法,揭示了中朝克拉通东部及邻区5个不同方位剖面的高垂向分辨率一维地壳和上地幔P波速度结构.结果显示,中朝克拉通东部及周边地区平均地壳厚度为29~30 km,全地壳平均速度在6.10~6.17 km·s^(-1)之间,远低于全球大陆地壳平均值,表明该区下地壳很薄甚至缺失,且在地壳底部可能存在因局部拆沉而形成的强水平各向异性.该区80 km左右深度可观测岩石圈正速度梯度内部间断面,推测其可能是由尖晶石到石榴石相变引起.在约220 km深度,我们探测到通常存在于稳定克拉通下方的Lehmann间断面,揭示中朝克拉通东部还部分保留类似稳定克拉通的圈层结构.介于80 km间断面和Lehmann间断面之间的上地幔P波速度较全球IASP91模型明显偏低,且上地幔震相(Pn、PL和P410)到时介于稳定克拉通区域和活动构造区域之间,表明中朝克拉通东部及邻区上地幔整体处于“冷”至“热”的过渡状态.

沈惟敬“东行”与明日朝交涉——以万历二十一年的《沈惟敬书帖》为线索

《沈惟敬书帖》是一份珍贵的域外汉籍文书史料。其文虽短,但却涵盖着相当准确而丰富的历史信息。以该书帖为线索,通过对其文本的分析以及所涉史事的考证,可以近乎完整地还原明朝与朝鲜、日本在万历二十一、二年间的一次重要交涉活动。明使沈惟敬在这次交涉活动中“东行”远赴釜山向日方索要丰臣秀吉降表,途中以此帖向朝方索求好马、通事、陪臣,但收效甚微。沈惟敬拿到丰臣秀吉降表后,朝方又向明朝力主“假表”之说。降表曾经被一度留置于辽阳,最后因为明朝重开对日交涉而被传送入京,对明朝最终做出册封丰臣秀吉决议产生了一定的影响。

转基因花卉的DNA提取与多重PCR分析

分别以CTAB法、DNA提取试剂盒提取菊花、矮牵牛、非洲菊 3种花卉的基因组DNA ,凝胶电泳结果表明试剂盒提取的效果较好 .设计合成了 3对引物 ,分别扩增花椰菜花叶病毒 (Cauliflowermosaicvirus,CaMV) 35S启动子、根癌农杆菌胭脂碱合成酶基因 (nos)终止子、大肠杆菌K12菌株新霉素磷酸转移酶II(nptⅡ )基因 .普通PCR检测结果表明 ,3种花卉 6个样品中仅矮牵牛的 1个样品含有这 3种转基因成分 ,酶切鉴定结果验证了PCR产物为非假阳性 .尝试以多重PCR同时检测转基因矮牵牛与对照阳性质粒中的 2个或 3个转基因成分 。

第28届奥运会中、丹、韩女子手球队攻防技术比较研究

采用文献资料、录像观察、数理统计方法,对第28届奥运会女子手球比赛中国队与冠军丹麦队和亚军韩国队的攻防技术进行比较分析。结果表明,中国队的射门得分率明显低于丹麦队和韩国队,得分差距主要体现在上半时;助攻数明显低于韩国队;守门员封挡率明显低于丹麦队;全能队员数量和水平低于丹麦队和韩国队。
