An analysis t...This paper is a case study of the development of Koreaninvested Enterprises (KIEs) in Shandong Peninsular based on a field interview survey together with questionnaire survey undertaken in 1996 and 1997. An analysis to the motivate factors for Korean investment entering China and a general evaluation on the business environment of Shandong Peninsular in terms of Korean investment is given firstly. Then the present characteristics of KIEs is described from micro point of view, with focus on the linkage pattern of enterprises, aiming at elaborating the emerging pattern of the international division of labor between China and the R. Korea, and the role of KIEs to the local social and economic development of Shandong Peninsular.展开更多
