The Ordovician graptolite sequence of the Yongxin-Chongyi area in southern Jiangxi was suggested as a standard for the correlation of Ordovician in the Zhujiang region of South China. Based on a restudy of the Upper Ordovician graptolites, the Shikou and Huamianlong formations are recognized herein as a part of the Hanjiang Formation, corresponding only to the Dipla-canthograptus caudatus-Diplacanthograptus spiniferus Zone. Two graptolite zones in the Longxi Formation of Yongxin and Chongyi, the Nemagraptus gracilis Zone and Climacograptus bicornis Zone, are redefined here. A rapid replacement of facies from the typical deep-water graptolitic black shale of Longxi Formation to the rapidly-accumulated, shallow-water clastic deposits of Hanjiang Formation indicates the tectonic initiation of the Kwangsian Orogeny. The thick clastic deposits of the Han-jiang Formation are proposed to come from a nearby source area that rose during the Kwangsian Orogeny. The D. caudatus-D. spiniferus graptolite Zone of the Hanjiang Formation indicates the initiation time of this tectonic event. 展开更多

The Kwangsian Orogeny originated along the southeast coast of China and stepwise developed in a northwest direction.It includes two stages,a long locally varying uplift from the Late Ordovician to the early Silurian and a finally tectonic movement near the Silurian and Devonian transition.The Kwangsian uplift event shows a stepwise delay northwestwards from the southeastern coast area in Nemagraptus gracilis Biozone(Sa1)to the south side of the Xuefeng Mountains in or later than Cystograptus vesiculosus Biozone(R3)to Coronograptus cyphus Biozone(R4).In the southern of Yangtze Platform,the Yichang Uplift was droved by the Kwangsian Orogeny forming a diachronous stratigraphical break through Rhuddanian and Aeronian.The distribution of the early Telychian lower marine red beds indicates a northwestward increase of the Cathaysian Oldland.Stratigraphical evidence may explain why the Kwangsian movement was marked by an angular disconformity during the Pridoli to earliest Devonian interval. 展开更多

未分异A型花岗岩的判别指标、岩石成因及其构造意义已经取得了较大共识,而高分异A型花岗岩的判别指标仍未有统一的认识。广西大瑶山地区大进花岗岩形成于早古生代(约440 Ma),具有高Rb含量(>400×10^(-6))、Rb/Sr、Rb/Ba值及相对... 未分异A型花岗岩的判别指标、岩石成因及其构造意义已经取得了较大共识,而高分异A型花岗岩的判别指标仍未有统一的认识。广西大瑶山地区大进花岗岩形成于早古生代(约440 Ma),具有高Rb含量(>400×10^(-6))、Rb/Sr、Rb/Ba值及相对低的Zr/Hf值等特征;依据岩石具有高的初始锆石饱和温度(819℃~863℃),高Ga/Al值、Zr+Nb+Ce+Y含量及特定地球化学指标的演化趋势等相关证据,综合判定其为高分异A型花岗岩。元素地球化学及Nd-Hf同位素组成表明,大进花岗岩可能源自镁铁质下地壳物质的部分熔融,经历了分异结晶和少量地壳物质混染(AFC)过程。大进高分异A型花岗岩可能是后造山岩石圈拆沉的岩石学响应,其年龄代表了桂东北地区广西运动由造山挤压向后造山伸展的构造转换时间。 展开更多

LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb定年结果显示,桂北新寨花岗岩形成于中奥陶世(465±2Ma)。该花岗岩的地球化学特征表现为化学成分较均一,具有高硅(SiO_2=68.54%~74.57%)、富碱(K_2O+Na_2O=7.61%~8.31%)、更富钾(K_2O/Na_2O=1.77~2.35)、强过铝质(... LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb定年结果显示,桂北新寨花岗岩形成于中奥陶世(465±2Ma)。该花岗岩的地球化学特征表现为化学成分较均一,具有高硅(SiO_2=68.54%~74.57%)、富碱(K_2O+Na_2O=7.61%~8.31%)、更富钾(K_2O/Na_2O=1.77~2.35)、强过铝质(A/CNK=1.09~2.39)和富集大离子亲石元素而亏损高场强元素等特征,属于S型花岗岩。新寨花岗岩具有比较均一的Sr、Nd同位素组成(I_(Sr)=0.71137~0.71328,ε_(Nd)(t)=-7.89^-7.26)。锆石Hf同位素组成为:(^(176)Hf/^(177)Hf)_i=0.28232~0.28252,ε_(Hf)(t)=-6.18^+0.61,Hf同位素两阶段模式年龄TDM2变化于1.67~2.11Ga之间。元素及Nd-Sr-Hf同位素分析结果显示,新寨花岗岩可能源自古元古代地壳变质泥岩的部分熔融,在成岩过程中有少量幔源组分的参与。新寨S型花岗岩可能是广西运动第二幕在桂北地区的岩石学响应,为早古生代构造-岩浆群事件的建立提供了新证据。 展开更多

Early Paleozoic black organic sediments and bentonites occur widely in the craton basin within the Yangtze block and are generally believed to be genetically related to a specific tectonic setting on the cratonic boundary.However,the intimate relationship between their origins and the dynamic mechanisms are unclear,as exemplified by the genesis of the black shale series and bentonites from the Wufeng Formation during the Ordovician–Silurian transition(OST).In order to reveal the relationship between the Wufeng Formation and the convergence of the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks(i.e.,the intracontinental Kwangsian Orogeny),two stratigraphic sections respectively in Zhaotong area(Northeast Yunnan)and Puyi area(Northwestern Guizhou)that were located in the semi-restricted inner Yangtze Sea during the OST were systematically studied,on the basis of whole-rock geochemical composition,pyriteδ^(34)S(δ^(34)Spy),total organic carbon(TOC),stable Sr isotope,pyrite framboid size distribution and zircon U-Pb age,trace elements.The evidence shows that the paleo-oceanic environment changed significantly at the turn of the early–late Katian and formed the black shale series in the Wufeng Formation.These acritarch assemblages were formed in the transition process of the Upper Yangtze Basin from passive continental margin basin to foreland basin during this interval.Based on previous research on the genetic relationship between black shale series and plate tectonic movement,a basin-mountain evolution model suitable for South China in the Late Ordovician is presented.The two bentonites in the Wufeng Formation with U-Pb ages of 445.5±0.8 Ma and 441.9±2.4 Ma primarily originated from the intermediate–acid volcanic eruption during the collision and convergence between the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks in the Late Ordovician,the provenance region probably being located in the Jiangnan orogenic belt.Thus,we believe that the appearance of the black shale series and bentonite in the Wufeng Formation at the turn of the early–late Katian may represent the initiation of basin-mountain transformation and the Kwangsian Orogeny in South China,which provides important evidence for the collision and convergence of the Yangtze and Cathaysia blocks in the Late Ordovician. 展开更多

扬子区志留纪晚期(罗德洛世—普里道利世)地层发育、划分对比及古地理和古环境特征,对于认识“广西运动”对华南地质作用的影响过程具有重要意义。本文通过对扬子区45条剖面进行实地考察或研究,开展了以生物地层学为主的综合地层学研究... 扬子区志留纪晚期(罗德洛世—普里道利世)地层发育、划分对比及古地理和古环境特征,对于认识“广西运动”对华南地质作用的影响过程具有重要意义。本文通过对扬子区45条剖面进行实地考察或研究,开展了以生物地层学为主的综合地层学研究,旨在揭示志留纪晚期地层的时空分布特征;确定了志留纪晚期地层的划分对比,勾绘了扬子区志留纪晚期地层的2个分布区——周缘沉积区和台地内部沉积区,含有7个沉积亚区。周缘区发育正常海湾,以正常浅海沉积和动物化石类群为特征;而内部区发育表现“分散”,实属相互连通的极浅的陆表非正常海,以极浅水、淡化海、无正常浅海动物化石、陆生植物化石发育为特征。经剖面解析和综合讨论后确认:扬子区志留系发育不全,志留纪兰多维列世特列奇晚期到罗德洛世中晚期(约10 Myr)几乎空缺无沉积。上述认识进一步深化了对扬子上升的解译,并识别出4种表现型式。在大时间尺度上,扬子上升是扬子台地古生代地质发展史上规模最大的一次整体上升运动(沉积间断长达~40—~150Myr)。以剖面研究为依据,本文提出广西运动最早发生和最先结束均在珠江区,较扬子区发生早大约10Myr,结束早大约4—5Myr;广西运动最后作用的时间点是志留纪普里道利世早期。 展开更多

华南的广西运动被认为是发生在早古生代的陆内造山作用,然而触发陆内变形的地球动力学机制仍然不清.广西运动形成了泥盆系与下伏岩石之间广泛的不整合面以及分布在局部地区的下古生界内部的多个不整合面.广西运动期间的构造热事件和古... 华南的广西运动被认为是发生在早古生代的陆内造山作用,然而触发陆内变形的地球动力学机制仍然不清.广西运动形成了泥盆系与下伏岩石之间广泛的不整合面以及分布在局部地区的下古生界内部的多个不整合面.广西运动期间的构造热事件和古生物响应时间在460~380Ma,时间上对应于奥陶系和泥盆系之间的多个不整合,而分布在华南南缘的寒武系和奥陶系之间的不整合面(郁南运动)仅与少量的530~480Ma之间的变质事件相当,但是却同步于广泛分布在东冈瓦纳北缘的造山事件.华南南部寒武系-奥陶系不整合面上下的碎屑锆石年代学研究表明,早古生代华南与印度北缘相连,而三亚地块在寒武纪是澳大利亚西缘的一部分,直到奥陶纪才与华南拼合,同步于冈瓦纳最终的聚合.郁南运动之后,华夏板块处于冈瓦纳内部,来自冈瓦纳东缘造山作用的应力向大陆内部传播,在具有弱流变学性质的南华盆地聚集,导致盆地构造反转,触发了广西运动.早古生代的华南经历了从板缘碰撞(郁南运动)到陆内造山(广西运动)的演化过程. 展开更多

在湖北省建始县北部细沙坝剖面志留系最上部发现腕足动物及几丁类化石。腕足动物组合以华美瓦尔达贝(Valdaria lauta)为典型分子,属于秀山动物群第二组合带;同时根据几丁类的组合带延限,综合分析确定其时代为特列奇中期,相当于秀山组上... 在湖北省建始县北部细沙坝剖面志留系最上部发现腕足动物及几丁类化石。腕足动物组合以华美瓦尔达贝(Valdaria lauta)为典型分子,属于秀山动物群第二组合带;同时根据几丁类的组合带延限,综合分析确定其时代为特列奇中期,相当于秀山组上段的中部。鉴于与典型纱帽组在岩性、时代的明显差别,鄂西地区的来凤、咸丰、鹤峰、宣恩、恩施、建始、巴东等地的这套以往称作纱帽组的地层改称为秀山组为宜。建始细沙坝与桐梓韩家店、石阡雷家屯、秀山溶溪、宣恩高罗、宜昌大中坝等五地志留系对比说明,上扬子区各地志留系兰多维列统的顶界是参差不齐的,其中秀山的相关地层顶界最高,桐梓和宜昌的最低。上述情况反映当时海域沉积受广西运动的直接影响,导致地壳上升,从而海水退尽,岩层差异剥蚀强烈,此系华夏古陆向西北方向显著扩张的结果。 展开更多

The present paper deals with a tectonic event of Late Ordovician age affecting three blocks of China,i.e.South China,North China and Tarim.In the North China and the Tarim platforms,as well as their marginal belts,there was a regional uplift during the early Katian Stage of the Ordovician.The uplift was indicated by the unconformities between the Ordovician successions and overlying late Paleozoic strata.New biostratigraphic studies of conodonts and graptolites from many sections at Longxian and Yaoxian,North China shows that the youngest Ordovician strata are of the early Katian age corresponding to graptolite Diplacanthograptus spiniferus Biozone.The same level has been recognized to represent the uppermost Ordovician in the platform area of Tarim,whereas in the marginal belt the top boundary of the Ordovician is slightly younger,corresponding to the graptolite Dicellograptus complanatus Biozone.Thus,the regional uplift in North China and Tarim is shown by the disconformity between the early Katian strata and Late Paleozoic strata,the onset coinciding with that of the Kwangsian Orogeny in South China.The designation Kwangsian Orogeny later fell into disuse and was replaced by the term Caledonian Orogeny.However,in terms of geographic location,tectonic nature,and the timing of activity,the Caledonian Orogeny differs significantly from the orogenic event in South China,and the continued use of this term in South China is inappropriate and misleading. 展开更多
