We conducted a joint inversion of receiver functions and surface wave dispersions with P-wave velocity constraints using data from the Chin Array Ⅱ temporary stations deployed across the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. Prior to joint inversion, we applied the H-κ-c method(Li JT et al., 2019) to the receiver function data in order to correct for the back-azimuthal variations in the arrival times of Ps phases and crustal multiples caused by crustal anisotropy and dipping interfaces. High-resolution images of vS, crustal thickness, and vP/vSstructures in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau were simultaneously derived from the joint inversion. The seismic images reveal that crustal thickness decreases outward from the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. The stable interiors of the Ordos and Alxa blocks exhibited higher velocities and lower crustal vP/vSratios. While, lower velocities and higher vP/vSratios were observed beneath the Qilian Orogen and Songpan-Ganzi terrane(SPGZ), which are geologically active and mechanically weak, especially in the mid-lower crust.Delamination or thermal erosion of the lithosphere triggered by hot asthenospheric flow contributes to the observed uppermost mantle low-velocity zones(LVZs) in the SPGZ. The crustal thickness, vS, and vP/vSratios suggest that whole lithospheric shortening is a plausible mechanism for crustal thickening in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, supporting the idea of coupled lithospheric-scale deformation in this region.展开更多

However, the presence of noise introduces certain limitations and challenges. It is crucial to harness wideband technology for applications demanding the rapid and precise transmission of diverse information from one point to another within a short timeframe. The ability to report a signal without tuning within the input bandwidth stands out as one of the advantages of employing a digital wideband receiver. As indicated, a digital wideband receiver plays a pivotal role in achieving high precision and accuracy. The primary distinction between Analog and Digital Instantaneous Frequency Measurement lies in the fact that analog Instantaneous Frequency Measurement (IFM) receivers have traditionally covered extensive input bandwidths, reporting one accurate frequency per short pulse. In the contemporary landscape, digital IFM systems utilize high-sampling-rate Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC) along with Hilbert transforms to generate two output channels featuring a 90-degree phase shift. This paper explores the improvement of sensitivity in current digital IFM receivers. The optimization efforts target the Hilbert transform and autocorrelations architectures, aiming to refine the system’s ability to report fine frequencies within a noisy wide bandwidth environment, thereby elevating its overall sensitivity.展开更多

However, the current algorithm used in China's L-band radar sounding system for calculating highvertical-resolution wind vectors excessively smooths the data, resulting in significant underestimation of the calculated kinetic energy of gravity waves compared to similar products from other countries, which greatly limits the effective utilization of the data. To address this issue, this study proposes a novel method to calculate high-vertical-resolution wind vectors that utilizes the elevation angle, azimuth angle, and slant range from L-band radar. In order to obtain wind data with a stable quality, a two-step automatic quality control procedure, including the RMSE-F(root-mean-square error F) test and elemental consistency test are first applied to the slant range data, to eliminate continuous erroneous data caused by unstable signals or radar malfunctions. Then, a wind calculation scheme based on a sliding second-order polynomial fitting is utilized to derive the high-vertical-resolution radiosonde wind vectors. The evaluation results demonstrate that the wind data obtained through the proposed method show a high level of consistency with the high-resolution wind data observed using the Vaisala Global Positioning System and the data observed by the new Beidou Navigation Sounding System. The calculation of the kinetic energy of gravity waves in the recalculated wind data also reaches a level comparable to the Vaisala observations.展开更多

To design a receiver that performs well and overcomes the abovementioned problems, we performed forward modeling of the E-field abnormal response and established the receiver's characteristics. We describe the design optimization and the properties of each component, that is, low-noise induction coil sensor, low-noise Ag/AgCI electrode, low-noise chopper amplifier, digital temperature-compensated crystal oscillator module, acoustic telemetry modem, and burn wire system. This design uses the concept of software radio, and it consists of the following parts: front-end, acquisition, tracking, synchronization, navigation solution and some assisting modules. In the acquisition module, the acquisition algorithm based on circular correlation is utilized. The input data and the local code are converted into the frequency domain by means of the fast Fourier transform (FFT). After performing circular correlation, the initial phase of the C/A code can be obtained and the cartier frequency can be found in 1 kHz frequency resolution, which is too coarse to use for the tracking loop. In order to improve the frequency resolution, the fine frequency estimation through a phase relationship is then achieved, by which, the frequency resolution is improved dramatically. Experiments show that the inaccuracy of the carrier frequency can be estimated within a few hertz by the fine frequency estimation method, and the fine frequency attained can be directly used for the tracking loop.展开更多

The choice of the proper performance parameter provided the single-valued mapping with the missed detection probability estimates the probability of failure. With very complex geological environment and tectonic background, it is one of the seismically active areas. In the paper, the teleseismic records were selected from 16 national, local and mo-bile stations, including 4 very-wide-band mobile stations of PASSCAL. And nearly 2 000 receiver functions were extracted. Two measuring lines are 650 km and 450 km, respectively and across some major tectonic units in Western Yunnan. It is indicated that Nujiang might be a seam characterized by underthrusting. The western and eastern boundaries of Sichuan-Yunnan rhombus block, i.e., Honghe and Xiaojiang faults, might be an erection seam or collision belt. Panxi tectonic zone still has the characteristics of continental rift valley, that is, the surface is hollow and the upper mantle is upwarping. The tectonic situation in Western Yunnan is of certain regulation with the interlacing distribution of orogenic zone and seam. The crustal thickness decreases gradually from the north to the south and the S wave velocity is globally lower here.展开更多

By simulating with Monte Carlo method and programming in Matlab language, the various jamming results in terms of bit error rate under several jamming scenarios are obtained. Through analyzing the simulation results and quantitative dependences of jamming effects on the distance from jammer to GPS receiver and the jammer’s height over ground, it is concluded that jamming with wide band jammer is much more effective than that with narrow band one.展开更多

文摘The study of inter-system bias(ISB)is important for multi-system fusion and the performance of different signal compatibility. In this paper, the stability of ISB at the BDS3/BDS2 receiver end is calculated and analyzed for different time spans(DOY 060~090 in 2021)from a total of 31 MGEX and iGMAS stations. We adopted two estimation strategies, random walk and constant approach, using the precision products of orbit and clock bias provided by WUM,the influence of which on ISB was also analyzed. Our results showed that the ISB value varied little within a day,and the mean of daily ISB standard deviation was only 0.037 m when the observation condition was good. The signal reception was continuous, indicating a high ISB stability for one day.If extending the time series to one month, however, the ISB standard deviation calculated by constant approach,in which a constant ISB is estimated on a daily basis was about 0.1 m,and the results of adjacent days were not continuous, with no apparent pattern.Concerning the random walk approach, the obtained ISB time series also had a jump, and the conclusion was the same as that of the constant strategy.Besides, receiver types showed a strong regularity in ISB numerical situation, and the distribution of ISB values corresponding to the same receiver type was relatively close. Therefore,we conclude that the ISB parameters remain stable in the short term(one day)and less stable in the long-term period. It is recommended that the ISB term should be set as a constant estimate every day in BDS3/BDS2 solutions, regardless of receiver type consistency.

文摘High-vertical-resolution radiosonde wind data are highly valuable for describing the dynamics of the meso-and microscale atmosphere. The calculation of the kinetic energy of gravity waves in the recalculated wind data also reaches a level comparable to the Vaisala observations.

文摘In planning and executing marine controlled-source electromagnetic methods, seafloor electromagnetic receivers must overcome the problems of noise, clock drift, and power consumption. Finally, we discuss the results of onshore and offshore field tests to show the effectiveness of the developed seafloor electromagnetic receiver and its performance: typical E-field noise of 0.12 nV/m/rt(Hz) at 0.5 Hz, dynamic range higher than 120 dB, clock drift lower than 1 ms/day, and continuous operation of at least 21 days.

文摘The design of a global positioning system (GPS) software receiver is introduced. Experiments show that the inaccuracy of the carrier frequency can be estimated within a few hertz by the fine frequency estimation method, and the fine frequency attained can be directly used for the tracking loop.
文摘A novel high-bandwidth, high-sensitivity differential optical receiver without any additional cost compared to general optical receivers, is proposed for high-speed optical communications and interconnections. High bandwidth and high sensitivity are achieved through a fully differential transimpedance amplifier with balanced input loads and two photodetectors to convert the incident light into a pair of differential photogenerated currents, respectively. In addition,a corresponding 0.35μm standard CMOS optoelectronic integrated receiver with two 60μm × 30μm, 1. 483pF fingered p^+/n- well/p-substrate photodiodes is also presented. The simulation results demonstrate that it achieves a 1.37GHz bandwidth and a 81.9dBΩ transimpedance gain, supporting data rates up to at least 2Gbit/s. The device consumes a core area of 0. 198mm^2 and the optical sensitivity is at least - 13dBm for a 10^-12 bit error rate under a 2^15 - 1 PRBS input signal.

文摘A new integrity metric for navigation systems is proposed based on the measurement domain. Proba-hilistic optimization design offers tools for fault detection by considering the required navigation performance (RNP) parameter and the uncertainty noise. The choice of the proper performance parameter provided the single-valued mapping with the missed detection probability estimates the probability of failure. The desirable characteristics of the residual sensitivity matrix are exploited to increase the efficiency for identifying erroneous observations. The algorithm can be used to support the performance specification and the efficient calculation of the integrity monitoring process. The simulation for non-precision approach (NPA) validates both the viability and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

文摘s Western Yunnan is located at the boundary of collision or underthrusting zone of Eurasian plate and is influenced by many times tectonic movements. The crustal thickness decreases gradually from the north to the south and the S wave velocity is globally lower here.
文摘The schemes and effects of electronically jamming GPS’s C/A code receivers are studied by using CW as the narrow band jamming signal and BPSK signal modulated by Gold code which is incoherent to that adopted by GPS as the wide band one. By simulating with Monte Carlo method and programming in Matlab language, the various jamming results in terms of bit error rate under several jamming scenarios are obtained. Through analyzing the simulation results and quantitative dependences of jamming effects on the distance from jammer to GPS receiver and the jammer’s height over ground, it is concluded that jamming with wide band jammer is much more effective than that with narrow band one.
