研制成功了一台新的ECR(ElectronCyclotronResonance)离子源LECR3(LanzhouECRNo .3)。该离子源能为原子核物理与表面物理研究提供高电荷态离子束流 ,LECR3的设计主要基于IMP(InstituteofModernPhysics)的 14 .5GHzECR离子源 (LanzhouECR... 研制成功了一台新的ECR(ElectronCyclotronResonance)离子源LECR3(LanzhouECRNo .3)。该离子源能为原子核物理与表面物理研究提供高电荷态离子束流 ,LECR3的设计主要基于IMP(InstituteofModernPhysics)的 14 .5GHzECR离子源 (LanzhouECRNo .2 ) ,但采用了双频加热、波导直接馈入微波功率及铝制等离子体弧腔等新技术和新方法。另外 ,LECR3的弧腔容积比LECR2的大 ,增加可注入的微波功率 ,可有效地增加引出的高电荷态离子束流的强度。虽然增大了弧腔的内径 ,但仍然保持径向六极磁铁在弧腔内壁上产生最大磁场强度与LECR2的同样大小。 展开更多

目的考虑到兰州电子回旋共振离子源(LECR3)实验平台个别薄弱环节可能泄漏Χ射线,给工作人员造成不必要的照射,对其辐射场Χ射线进行了测量。方法首先使用FD-71A和FJ-347A两种量程不同的便携式仪器对LECR3离子源运行中辐射场巡视一遍,找... 目的考虑到兰州电子回旋共振离子源(LECR3)实验平台个别薄弱环节可能泄漏Χ射线,给工作人员造成不必要的照射,对其辐射场Χ射线进行了测量。方法首先使用FD-71A和FJ-347A两种量程不同的便携式仪器对LECR3离子源运行中辐射场巡视一遍,找出剂量率较高的部位,确定累积测量点位,然后使用LiF(Mg,Ti)-100M热释光探测器进行累积测量。结果根据测量结果分析,仅源体尾部存在薄弱环节,泄漏出较强的Х射线。结论应采取局部屏蔽防护措施,使其剂量率达到尽可能低的水平。 展开更多

Emittance Measurements for Beams Extracted from LECR3 Ion Source

High quality ion beams are required by IMP cyclotron and atomic physics research, so it is important to research and measure beam emitt ance of ECR ion source. Intense beams extracted from ECR ion source usually have low energy, so it is suitable to use Electric-Sweep Scanner to measure the emittance. This kind of measurement is popularly used at ECR ion source, and it has some prominent merits such as high accuracy, very short time of data processing and easy expressing of the emittance pattern. So we designed and built this emittance scanner to measure emittance of the ion beams produced by LECR3 ion source. LECR3 (Lanzhou Electron Cyclotron Resonance ion source No.3) which aims to produce intense highly charged ion beams for atomic physics research, was designed and constructed based on LECR2 (Lanzhou Electron Cyclotron Resonance ion source No.2) with high B mode. In year 2003, according to the arrangements of atomic physics research experiments and the ECR ion source research activities, ion beams of 14 elements were produced on LECR3. The elements include ^16O, ^40At, ^129Xe, ^63Cu, ^65Zn, ^56Fe, ^58Ni, ^26Mg, ^208Pb, ^35C1, ^37C1, ^28Si, ^84Kr and ^181Ta. Many of them were tested for the first time on LECR3 ion source. 展开更多
