Lying flat(Tang Ping)is a prevalent way of life in contemporary countries throughout the world.It is an avoidance behavior chosen by individuals in response to limited social resources and ongoing harsh social competi...Lying flat(Tang Ping)is a prevalent way of life in contemporary countries throughout the world.It is an avoidance behavior chosen by individuals in response to limited social resources and ongoing harsh social competition.Previous studies have demonstrated that the phenomena of“lying flat”has a major negative effect on student learning.In order to investigate the impact of educational innovation on the phenomenon of“lying flat”,we will observe students’learning behaviors under the traditional education model and innovative teaching methods in our Bali teaching practice to determine the causes of“lying flat”and the means to improve educational innovation.The study found that“lying flat”is caused not just by students’discontent with their level difference,but also by the conflict between external resources and internal pressure.In addition,educational reforms on three levels,including further stratified education,strengthening teacher education and promoting effective communication between students and teachers,and employing online resources to promote students’interest in learning,can ameliorate the phenomenon of pupils“lying flat”.This study contends that educational innovation can have a positive effect on the phenomena of“lying flat”.展开更多
Background Ears play an important role in facial profiles.Lying ears are not perceived favorably in Asian cultures;therefore,surgical procedures are implemented to adjust this defect.However,surgery has complications ...Background Ears play an important role in facial profiles.Lying ears are not perceived favorably in Asian cultures;therefore,surgical procedures are implemented to adjust this defect.However,surgery has complications and requires recovery time.We introduced a hyaluronic acid(HA)injection technique to aesthetically improve ear prominence.Methods This retrospective study examined 25 Chinese patients aged 20-47 years with congenital lying ears who received HA injections in the auricular base at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital and Hangzhou Yijie Medical Cosmetology Clinic between November 2019 and December 2022.The average injection volume was 6.32±1.22 mL in the auricular base unilaterally,and the follow-up time ranged from 6 to 24 months.Morphological measurement data were recorded.Two-dimensional(2D)and three-dimensional(3D)images were obtained to evaluate the effects.Results All patients showed improvements in ear prominence.The cranioauricular angle(CAA)increased from 22.24°±4.53°to 65.90°±5.38°immediately post-injection and was maintained at 49.18°±4.74°6 months later.The ear projection(EP)increased from 14.75±2.72 mm to 26.26±2.94 mm immediately post-injection and was 22.51±2.68 mm after 6 months.No serious complications were noted.Conclusion HA injection in the auricular base effectively corrected the lying ears and aesthetically optimized the facial profile.It also had a face-lift effect that made the face look younger and more compact.The injection procedure was minimally invasive and required no recovery period.The effect was maintained for a long time and was satisfactory.展开更多

Objective:To examine the effect of upright and ambulant positions versus lying down during the active first stage of labor on birth outcomes for nulliparous women.Methods:This is a randomized controlled clinical trial...Objective:To examine the effect of upright and ambulant positions versus lying down during the active first stage of labor on birth outcomes for nulliparous women.Methods:This is a randomized controlled clinical trial conducted at the delivery department of Damanhour Educational Institute,El Behira Governorate,Egypt.The study sample involved 150 parturient women equally divided into intervention and control groups using randomization block technique.The researchers used four tools for data collection:Demographic data interview schedule,World Health Organization Partograph,Apgar’s score,to evaluate neonatal outcomes,and visual analogue pain intensity scale.For the study group,the parturient women were encouraged to assume one of the upright positions or ambulating around the bed so as to maintain the pelvis in vertical plane as far as possible for 20-25 min for every 1 h.The control group received routine hospital care,which includes lying down in bed.IBM SPSS 23.0 was used to analyze the data.Results:Significant differences(P<0.05)were observed between the study and control groups in relation to cervical dilation,fetal head descent,uterine contractions interval,and frequency.The duration of the first stage of labor significantly reduced(P=0.018)in the intervention group compared with control group.No significant differences(P>0.05)were observed between both groups in term of emergency cesarean birth rates,oxytocin use,and neonatal outcomes.Conclusions:This study proves that upright and ambulant positions significantly enhance uterine contractility,cervical dilatation,and fetal head descent and reduce the first stage duration.展开更多

Understanding how brain activity encodes information and controls behavior is a long-standing question in neuroscience.This complex problem requires converging efforts from neuroscience and engineering,including techn...Understanding how brain activity encodes information and controls behavior is a long-standing question in neuroscience.This complex problem requires converging efforts from neuroscience and engineering,including technological solutions to perform high-precision and large-scale recordings of neuronal activity in vivo as well as unbiased methods to reliably measure and quantify behavior.Thanks to advances in genetics,molecular biology,engineering,and neuroscience,in recent decades,a variety of optical imaging and electrophysiological approaches for recording neuronal activity in awake animals have been developed and widely applied in the field.Moreover,sophisticated computer vision and machine learning algorithms have been developed to analyze animal behavior.In this review,we provide an overview of the current state of technology for neuronal recordings with a focus on optical and electrophysiological methods in rodents.In addition,we discuss areas that future technological development will need to cover in order to further our understanding of the neural activity underlying behavior.展开更多

Precise metabolic rewiring during heart organogenesis underlies normal cardiac development.Herein,we utilized high-coverage,quantitative lipidomic approaches to construct lipidomic atlases of whole hearts(861 lipids;3...Precise metabolic rewiring during heart organogenesis underlies normal cardiac development.Herein,we utilized high-coverage,quantitative lipidomic approaches to construct lipidomic atlases of whole hearts(861 lipids;31 classes)and mitochondria(587 lipids;27 classes)across prenatal and postnatal developmental stages in mice.We uncovered the progressive formation of docosahexaenoyl-phospholipids and enhanced remodeling of C18:2,C20:3,and C20:4 fatty acyl moieties into cardiolipins as cardiac development progresses.A preferential flow of ceramides toward sphingomyelin biosynthesis over complex glycosphingolipid formation was also noted.Using maSigPro and GPclust algorithms,we identified a repertoire of 448 developmentally dynamic lipids and mapped their expression patterns to a library of 550 biologically relevant developmentally dynamic genes.Our combinatorial transcriptomics and lipidomics approaches identified Hadha,Lclat1,and Lpcat3 as candidate molecular drivers governing the dynamic remodeling of cardiolipins and phospholipids,respectively,in heart development.Our analyses revealed that postnatal cardiolipin remodeling in the heart constitutes a biphasic process,which first accumulates polyunsaturated C78-cardiolipins prior to tetralinoleoyl cardiolipin forming the predominant species.Multiomics analyses supplemented with transmission electron microscopy imaging uncovered enhanced mitochondria–lipid droplet contacts mediated by perilipin-5.Our combinatorial analyses of multiomics data uncovered an association between mitochondrial-resident,docosahexaenoic acid-phospholipids and messenger RNA levels of proton-transporting adenosine triphosphate synthases on inner mitochondrial membranes,which adds credence to the membrane pacemaker theory of metabolism.The current findings offer lipid-centric biological insights potentially important to understanding the molecular basis of cardiac metabolic flexibility and disease pathology.展开更多

文摘The humanoid robot SJTU-HR1's concept is introduced and its characteristics tree is given.The basic states for SJTU-HR1 are proposed,including lying,sitting,standing and handstanding,abstracted from the daily exercises of human beings.The GF(generalized function) set theory is exploited to achieve the kinematic characteristics of the interested EEs(end-effectors) of SJTU-HR1 for the lying states.Finally,the results show that the large amounts of states can be described using the abbreviations in a systematic manner.Although we have focused on the application of the GF set theory to humanoid robots,particularly the SJTU-HR1,this methodology can also be applied to quadruped robots and hexapedal robots,especially when the desired tasks are complex.
文摘This is a survey of local and global classification results concerning Dupin hypersurfaces in S^(n)(or R^(n))that have been obtained in the context of Lie sphere geometry.The emphasis is on results that relate Dupin hypersurfaces to isoparametric hypersurfaces in spheres.Along with these classification results,many important concepts from Lie sphere geometry,such as curvature spheres,Lie curvatures,and Legendre lifts of submanifolds of S^(n)(or R^(n)),are described in detail.The paper also contains several important constructions of Dupin hypersurfaces with certain special properties.
