Utilizing this clarified GEPLT, we analytically study the quantum phase transitions of ultracold Bose gases in bipartite superlattices at zero temper- ature. The corresponding quantum phase boundaries are analytically calculated up to the third-order hopping, which are in excellent agreement with the quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) simulations.展开更多

The bacterial flagellar filament is treated as an elastic thin rod based on the Kirchhoff’s thin rod theory. Mechanical analysis is performed on the periodical phase transition of the filament between the two helical structures of the opposite charity. The curvature and twist are chosen as the order parameters in constructing the phase transition model of the filament. The established model is applied to study the instability properties of the filament and to investigate the loading and deformation conditions of the phase transition. In addition, the curvature and twist gradient energy are considered to describe the interface properties of the two phases.展开更多

In this case, the ground state is reconstructed to have a particle distribution different from the Fermi-step function. For specific instances, one case with the vector boson exchange and another with the relativistic heavy-ion collision are taken into consideration. With the vector boson exchange, we find that the relative weak interaction strength can lead to the ground-state rearrangement as long as the fermion mass is large enough. It is found that the relativistic heavy-ion collision may also cause the ground-state rearrangement, affecting the statistics of the collision system.展开更多
