The landscape quality of urban parks is an important aspect of tourists'landscape experience.A full understanding of their relationship is beneficial to the park design,construction and management.In this paper,Xi...The landscape quality of urban parks is an important aspect of tourists'landscape experience.A full understanding of their relationship is beneficial to the park design,construction and management.In this paper,Xiaohong Stone Carving Park in Nanjing was selected as a case study.Firstly,the subjective landscape visual quality evaluation of tourists was obtained through the scenic beauty evaluation,and the objective landscape visual preference of users was obtained through eye movement experiment and analysis.Secondly,the values of various park landscape elements were measured respectively.And then the correlation between the subjective and objective evaluation and the values of park landscape elements was analyzed.The results showed that:(1)The visual preference of plant cluster landscape with beautiful shape,distinct layers and significant color contrast is high;(2)The preference for waterfront scenes with significant terrain differences,rich background vegetation levels,and clear and vivid water side reflections is high;(3)The designed artificial structures often become the focus of attention in the whole scene,which can improve the beauty of the scene;(4)The overall landscape composition is very important for the beauty of the scene.Finally,through the comprehensive analysis with the design expectation,the optimization strategy was proposed.展开更多

The present study is formed according to visual pollution and its impact on the appearance and vitality of a city. Preliminary studies and theoretical studies led to the hypothesis with the following themes: 1) There is relationship between the pollution, heterogeneity and visual disturbances urban landscape and urban vitality;2) Improving the quality, aesthetics and identity of public spaces will increase urban vitality. Therefore, the design process within the theoretical principles, concepts, television and urban landscape, urban art, visual pollution aspects (color, light, and visual symbol) and the quality of urban vitality and explain causal relationships, analytical framework developed and more samples case (garden historic town of Maraqeh<sup>1</sup>) and the area under study were selected using GIS. After designing the questionnaire to evaluate the objectives, assumptions and questions of research and its analysis, the results indicate that the relationship between visual pollution and urban vitalitys, as well as proving hypotheses and vitality after the final analysis, model was introduced based on the components of comfort visual editing and proposed at three levels: micro, middle and macro for objectives, strategies and policies to regulate visual pollution and improve the aesthetic quality of the environment and the promotion of vitality.展开更多

In 2018, Mocnik and Fairbairn argued that maps are good for representing a geographic space but texts have a better benefit than maps for telling a story [1]. A framework is presented on how a landscape change can be retrieved out of textual descriptions. A prototype of a 3D model with a projection on top of it was developed. The case study tells the story of the landscape change in the city of Pristina. The key element of the visualization is a timeline. Several media like cadastral maps, orthophotos, texts, graphics, and background sound are used and combined in an animated light show and the visualization was evaluated within a user study.展开更多

This assessment is based on the observer’s perception and sight of space and attempts to introduce the criteria of spatial desirability in the landscape. Analysis of the relationships between visual quality and structural features of the landscape is an effective way of conducting cognitive research. For this purpose, the analysis of visual quality was considered by compiling measurement and evaluation criteria, based on the concept of user preferences, in the part of Tehran-Qom Freeway, near the northeastern side of Imam Khomeini International Airport (Iran). The main objective of this research is to present a strategic plan for preserving and restoring the ecological landscape, creating a sense of place in the region, emphasizing gradual changes in the landscape during the movement and considering its relation to landscape aesthetics. For this purpose, after the questionnaire was prepared, the classifying visual quality method (Q-Sort) was used. Finally, using the results obtained from landscape analysis, identifying the components which led to the lack of visibility of individuals, and by using the geographic information systems (GIS), the strategic design of the area was designed.展开更多
This study investigates the relationship between sidewalk space and pedestrians,as well as how the design and improvement of sidewalk visual landscapes can enhance pedestrians’psychological restoration.Sidewalk quali...This study investigates the relationship between sidewalk space and pedestrians,as well as how the design and improvement of sidewalk visual landscapes can enhance pedestrians’psychological restoration.Sidewalk quality in China varies,making it challenging to meet the urban residents’expectations for sidewalk environments.In this research,psychological perception experiments were conducted on 60 sidewalks in the core functional area of Beijing.The visual landscape of the sidewalk was divided into four dimensions:canopy,ground plane,roadside plane,and building wall.In this study,a total of 52 spatial elements were extracted and evaluated based on the dimensions of fascination,being-away,coherence,and scope in relation to pedestrians’psychological perception.The findings confirm that urban greenery and street accessibility,among other spatial elements,significantly positively influence pedestrians’willingness to walk.Furthermore,a balanced distribution of elements within sidewalk space can better enhance pedestrians’psychological restoration capabilities.展开更多

文摘The existing methods of landscape visual quality evaluation is mostly based on people's subjective feelings,and the objectivity and scientificity of evaluation results are insufficient.As an important means of experimental psychology,eye movement technology can show great advantages and potential in landscape visual quality evaluation.On the basis of combing and summarizing the relevant literature,based on the explanation of the technical principle of eye movement analysis,the application field,research content,technical methods and other aspects of eye movement analysis were reviewed.The application prospect of eye movement technology in landscape visual quality evaluation was explored to provide theoretical reference for the in-depth evaluation and research of landscape visual quality evaluation theory.
文摘Space is one of the important landscape node types in landscape architecture, and it is the supporting framework of landscape architecture. The understanding of space and space art landscape design in the garden by the way of consulting and reference case, in order to better the performance of landscape art in the landscape garden for the purpose of systematic analysis of knowledge structure of landscape space, provide a comprehensive reference for the future design of the landscape garden. This paper from the background of our landscape design conception, combined with the trend of landscape design Chinese traditional garden design techniques and modem residential area of research and analysis, explore the new design of modem residential area, in order to create a Chinese characteristics, local characteristics of the residential landscape, to further explore the charm of traditional culture, highlighting the regional characteristics.

文摘The reclusive dwelling is an important part of the traditional philosophical culture of ancient China.The Chinese spiritual imagery of reclusion is mainly represented by narrative mediums of poems,paintings,and garden works,resulting in artistic visualization with poetic implication.The article analyzed six Chinese landscape paintings of reclusive dwelling theme,in terms of narrative medium,visualization,and implication.The intention is to conclude the reclusive dwelling schema of Chinese landscape painting and study a visualizing methodology involved spiritual implication on dwelling,which could be beneficial to both contemporary art and architectural creations.
文摘The value of application of three-dimensional visualization and animation technique in dynamic simulation of geographical landscape formation is analyzed and, in particular, how to simulate the formation and evolvement of geographical landscape in temporal dimension is discussed thoroughly. Based on various modeling tools in 3DS MAX and original DEM data of the study area acquired from topographic map, real three-dimensional terrain model is generated by using the method of three-dimensional mesh approximation through DEM interpolating and surface modeling, which leads to the realization of the dynamic visualization and simulation of volcanic landscape, formation and evolvement. Furthermore, the dynamic three-dimensional visual virtual scenery of the formation and evolvement of the volcano in the Changbai Mountains of Jilin, China, is constructed. The applicability, potential, and corresponding technique of using 3DS MAX to dynamically simulate the formation of geographical landscape are expatiated.
文摘Changsha urban landscape had been divided into four categories which were background landscape,contour landscape,architectural and humanity landscape,and garden and green landscape in this paper;and components and characteristics of each landscape had been analyzed in detail,which were used in establishment of city identity system of Changsha.Five subsystems had been taken as contexts and their components were analyzed specifically,which were mind indentify system,visual identity system,behavior identity system,audio identity system and environment identity system.Mind identity system would be disintegrated into characteristic landscape system with urban center as the core,surrounded by natural landscape belt and covering historical deposit.Visual identity system would be constituted through application of city flower,city tree,mascot and standard color.Behavior identity system would be disintegrated into capital of entertainment and behavioral custom of old city.Audio identity system would be decomposed into audio identity of urban streets,of natural landscape and of commercial landscape.Environment identity system would be established from the perspective of ecological environment.It was considered that establishment of city identity system of Changsha could directly promote economic development,and it needed further study on city identity system of Changsha.
文摘Visual quality is a significant issue in today’s modern world which needs to be evaluated. This assessment is based on the observer’s perception and sight of space and attempts to introduce the criteria of spatial desirability in the landscape. Analysis of the relationships between visual quality and structural features of the landscape is an effective way of conducting cognitive research. For this purpose, the analysis of visual quality was considered by compiling measurement and evaluation criteria, based on the concept of user preferences, in the part of Tehran-Qom Freeway, near the northeastern side of Imam Khomeini International Airport (Iran). The main objective of this research is to present a strategic plan for preserving and restoring the ecological landscape, creating a sense of place in the region, emphasizing gradual changes in the landscape during the movement and considering its relation to landscape aesthetics. For this purpose, after the questionnaire was prepared, the classifying visual quality method (Q-Sort) was used. Finally, using the results obtained from landscape analysis, identifying the components which led to the lack of visibility of individuals, and by using the geographic information systems (GIS), the strategic design of the area was designed.

文摘This study investigates the relationship between sidewalk space and pedestrians,as well as how the design and improvement of sidewalk visual landscapes can enhance pedestrians’psychological restoration.Sidewalk quality in China varies,making it challenging to meet the urban residents’expectations for sidewalk environments.In this research,psychological perception experiments were conducted on 60 sidewalks in the core functional area of Beijing.The visual landscape of the sidewalk was divided into four dimensions:canopy,ground plane,roadside plane,and building wall.In this study,a total of 52 spatial elements were extracted and evaluated based on the dimensions of fascination,being-away,coherence,and scope in relation to pedestrians’psychological perception.The findings confirm that urban greenery and street accessibility,among other spatial elements,significantly positively influence pedestrians’willingness to walk.Furthermore,a balanced distribution of elements within sidewalk space can better enhance pedestrians’psychological restoration capabilities.

文摘The rapid advancement of building information modeling(BIM)technology has garnered significant interest regarding its application within the domain of landscape engineering.BIM technology,as a construction and management tool that integrates digitization and visualization,has demonstrated considerable advantages in enhancing project quality,reducing costs,and improving collaborative efficiency.This study aims to systematically investigate the application and developmental trends of BIM visualization technology within the field of landscape engineering.Through an analysis of technological advancements and industry dynamics over the past decade,it has been observed that BIM visualization technology is intricately linked with green building practices,sustainable construction methods,and the development of smart cities within the context of landscape engineering projects.The technology also possesses significant potential for application in the planning and design of landscape engineering,construction management,and project maintenance.The convenience of visualization enhances the expressive capacity of the design scheme,improves communication efficiency between the involved parties,and mitigates the costs and time inefficiencies associated with design modifications.By drawing on the successful experiences of other industries and integrating them with the unique characteristics of landscape engineering,BIM visualization technology is poised to assume a more significant role within this field.This integration is expected to advance the entire industry towards greater intelligence and informatization,while simultaneously enhancing the efficiency and quality of design,construction,and maintenance processes.

文摘Applying the visual simulation technology to highway engineering, an expressway visual simulation system for the analysis of landscape design proposals is built during the construction of Xiaoxiang expressway. Its functional requirements and overall architecture are presented. The 3D model of expressway is created with AutoCAD DWG files as source data and the dynamic design method of expressway landscape elements is introduced. A data analysis interface dedicated to the landscape evaluation is developed. The system offers an effective tool to facilitate the analysis and evaluation of the road landscape proposals.
