Application Effect of Blended Education Strategy Based on the Learning Pass Platform in Phase III Cardiac Rehabilitation of Patients with Coronary Artery Disease

Objective:To explore the application effect of the blended education strategy based on the Learning Pass platform in the phase III cardiac rehabilitation of patients with coronary artery disease.Methods:90 patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease in the Department of Cardiology of our hospital from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected and divided into the control group and the experimental group according to the method of randomized numerical table,with 45 cases in each group.Both the experimental group and the control group received pre-discharge cardiac rehabilitation education by conventional means.The control group received education and supervision information via WeChat after discharge,while the experimental group joined the Learning Pass platform to receive online and offline hybrid education and supervision,with online as the mainstay and offline as a supplement.The disease cognitive level,self-management skills,quality of life,medication adherence,and emotional status of the two groups were compared.Results:The disease cognitive levels in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);the scores of the experimental group in terms of quality of life,self-management skills,and medication adherence were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);and the scores of anxiety and depression in the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The blended education strategy based on the Learning Pass platform has a significant application effect in phase III cardiac rehabilitation of patients with coronary artery disease.It can improve patients’disease cognitive level,self-management skills,and quality of life,and provide a basis for improving patients’prognosis. 展开更多

A Study of Detecting Student Engagement Modes in an Online Learning Platform

In this paper,we used the platform log data to extract three features(proportion of passive video time,proportion of active video time,and proportion of assignment time)aligning with different learning activities in the Interactive-Constructive-Active-Passive(ICAP)framework,and applied hierarchical clustering to detect student engagement modes.A total of 840 learning rounds were clustered into four categories of engagement:passive(n=80),active(n=366),constructive(n=75)and resting(n=319).The results showed that there were differences in the performance of the four engagement modes,and three types of learning status were identified based on the sequences of student engagement modes:difficult,balanced and easy.This study indicated that based on the ICAP framework,the online learning platform log data could be used to automatically detect different engagement modes of students,which could provide useful references for online learning analysis and personalized learning. 展开更多

Unfortunately, though, it seldom takes advantage of the new technologies and capabilities offered by the modern World Wide Web. In this article, we present an interactive online platform that provides users with learning activities for students of English as a foreign language. The platform focuses on using audiovisual multimedia content and a user experience (UX) centered approach to provide learners with an enhanced learning experience that aims at improving their knowledge level while at the same time increasing their engagement and motivation to participate in learning. To achieve this, the platform uses advanced techniques, such as interactive vocabulary and pronunciation assistance, mini-games, embedded media, voice recording, and more. In addition, the platform provides educators with analytics about user engagement and performance. In this study, more than 100 young students participated in a preliminary use of the aforementioned platform and provided feedback concerning their experience. Both the platform’s metrics and the user-provided feedback indicated increased engagement and a preference of the participants for interactive audiovisual multimedia-based learning activities.</span> </p> 展开更多

With the explosive increase in mobile apps, more and more threats migrate from traditional PC client to mobile device. Compared with traditional Win+Intel alliance in PC, Android+ARM alliance dominates in Mobile Internet, the apps replace the PC client software as the major target of malicious usage. In this paper, to improve the security status of current mobile apps, we propose a methodology to evaluate mobile apps based on cloud computing platform and data mining. We also present a prototype system named MobSafe to identify the mobile app's virulence or benignancy. Compared with traditional method, such as permission pattern based method, MobSafe combines the dynamic and static analysis methods to comprehensively evaluate an Android app. In the implementation, we adopt Android Security Evaluation Framework (ASEF) and Static Android Analysis Framework (SAAF), the two representative dynamic and static analysis methods, to evaluate the Android apps and estimate the total time needed to evaluate all the apps stored in one mobile app market. Based on the real trace from a commercial mobile app market called AppChina, we can collect the statistics of the number of active Android apps, the average number apps installed in one Android device, and the expanding ratio of mobile apps. As mobile app market serves as the main line of defence against mobile malwares, our evaluation results show that it is practical to use cloud computing platform and data mining to verify all stored apps routinely to filter out malware apps from mobile app markets. As the future work, MobSafe can extensively use machine learning to conduct automotive forensic analysis of mobile apps based on the generated multifaceted data in this stage. 展开更多
