Development in theoretical study and practice of library legislation in China

One of the most outstanding characteristics of library legislation in China is that theoretical research and legislative practice are mutually reinforcing, making important issues and basic rules and regulations closely associated with legislation and the research focus. A national library law is currently being enacted while several local library legislations have already seen fruitful results. In the enactment of 'Regulations for the Protection of Information Network Dissemination Rights', the library professional participated for the first time in enacting a national copyright law, which led to unprecedented flourishing of library activities and copyright studies. The promulgation of another legal framework,'Government Information Disclosure Regulations' further advanced the research on related issues and pushed forward government information services in public libraries in the same way. A new landmark for library legislation in recent years is the promulgation of'Guidelines for Land Utilization for Public Library Construction' and 'Public Library Construction Standards', while the framing of 'Rules of Professional Ethics for Librarians in China(On trial)' and the 'Library Service Manifesto' give indication that a framework of self-disciplinary measures of library professionals is established. 展开更多

This paper presents a method of designing a 65 nm DFM standard cell library.By reducing the amount of the library largely,the process of optical proximity correction(OPC) becomes more efficient and the need for large storage is reduced.This library is more manufacture-friendly as each cell has been optimized according to the DFM rule and optical simulation.The area penalty is minor compared with traditional library,and the timing,as well as power has a good performance.Furthermore,this library has passed the test from the Technology Design Department of Foundry.The result shows this DFM standard cell library has advantages that improve the yield. 展开更多

The inconsistency of documentation:a study of online C standard library documents

The C standard libraries are basic function libraries standardized by the C language.Programmers usually refer to their APl documentation provided by third-party websites.Unfortunately,these documents are not necessarily complete or accurate,especially for constraint sentences of APl usage,which are called Security Specifications(SSs).SS issues can prevent programmers from following obligatory constraints,which results in APl misuse vulnerabilities.Previous work studying SS issues could only find certain types of inaccurate SSs through checking the compliance between APl usage and existing SSs.Therefore,we propose a novel approach SSeeker for quickly discovering missing and inaccurate SSs through the inconsistency of semantically similar SSs.More specifically,SSeeker first completes broken sentences and discovers SSs from them by judging their constraint sentiment.Then SSeeker puts semantically similar SSs from different sources into a group,which can be used to discover missing or inaccurate SSs.With the help of SSeeker,we investigated 4 popular online third-party C standard library documents,studied their conformity with the C99 standard,analyzed their APls and SSs,and discovered 92 prototype issues,15 web page issues,and 96 SS issues. 展开更多

Analysis of single event transient pulse-width in 65 nm commercial radiation-hardened logic cell 被引量:1

With the critical charge reduced to generate a single event effect (SEE) and high working frequency for a nanometer integrated circuit, the single event effect (SET) becomes increasingly serious for high performance SOC and DSP chips. To analyze the radiation-hardened method of SET for the nanometer integrated circuit, the n+ guard ring and p+ guard ring have been adopted in the layout for a 65 nm commercial radiation-hardened standard cell library. The weakest driving capacity inverter cell was used to evaluate the single event transient (SET) pulse-width distribution. We employed a dual-lane measurement circuit to get more accurate SET's pulse- width. Six kinds of ions, which provide LETs of 12.5, 22.5, 32.5, 42, 63, and 79.5 MeV-cm2/mg, respectively, have been utilized to irradiate the SET test circuit in the Beijing Tandem Accelerator Nuclear Physics National Laboratory. The testing results reveal that the pulse-width of most SETs is shorter than 400 ps in the range of LETefr from 12.5 MeV.cm2/mg to 79.5 MeV-cm2/mg and the pulse-width presents saturation tendency when the effective linear energy transfer (LETeff value is larger than 40 MeV-cm2/mg. The test results also show that the hardened commercial standard cell's pulse-width concentrates on 33 to 264 ps, which decreases by 40% compared to the pulse-width of the 65 nm commercial unhardened standard cell. 展开更多

The Standard Template Library (STL) is a C++ library that provides a set of wellstructured generic C++ components that work together. Based on its well-structured design, STL can be extended by adding new generic algorithms or new generic containers. In this paper, the work on extending STL by adding several efficient cofitainer classes for threaded binary search trees is discussed. It is shown that the addition of threads signilicantly increases the efficiency of some important access operations on the binary tree containers. In general, significant gain in efficiency can be expected in situations where the data structures are relatively stable, that is, the data structures are looked up often but modified little. 展开更多
