The FT-IR analysis of aromatic bending occurs on 845 cm-1 with para C-H bend. A strong absorption band between 900 cm-1 - 675 cm-1 indicated the presence of aromatic C=C. The alcoholic stretching detected on 1080 cm-1 and 1169 cm-1 with C-O stretching molecular motion in large cardamom. In our investigation, the frequency of 2943 cm-1 and 2934 cm-1 the C-H stretching occurred in alkyl group. The wave numbers of bands 2966 (C=CH2), 1358 (S=O Stretch), 1215 (C-N Stretch), 1053 (S=O Stretch) and 984 (C-H Bending) the functional group specify vinyl, sulfonates, amines, sulfoxides and trans RCH-CHR, respectively.展开更多

In present study, the essential oils isolated by hydrodistillation from the leaves of Eucalyptus camaldulensis from six different locations were analyzed by GC-FID and GC-MS. Essential oil yields ranged from 0.33% to 4.35%. In total, 34 constituents were identified, accounting for 94.0% to 99.8% of the total compositions. 1,8-cineole (46.4% - 84.4%) was the main constituent of all the essential oil samples, except for one sample collected in the Fatick region, which had p-cymene (46.4%) and 1,8-cineole (26.0%) as major compounds. The essential oil showed excellent activity against S. aureus, E. coli and E. faecalis (IZ = 25.3 ± 1.2 mm;18.7 ± 0.6 mm;17.8 ± 0.3 mm, respectively) and moderate activity against P. aeruginosa (IZ = 10.8 ± 0.8 mm). They may have potential applications in food and pharmaceutical products.展开更多

Eighty-three components were identified representing 97.5% of the total components detected. The major constituents of the oil from the samples obtained in the eastern of Riyue Mountain (2700 - 3200 m) were 2-ethenyl-naphthalene (45.1%), beta-pinene (11.2%), 3-carene (8.7%), 3,7-dimethyl-1,3,6- octatriene (7.9%), limonene (5.4%), alpha-pinene (3.5%) and beta-myrcene (2.0%). Whereas the oil from the plant collected in Qilian Mountain (3300 - 3500 m) was composed mainly of thujone (21.4%), 1,8-cineole (18.9%), camphor (9.1%), 4-methyl-1-(1-methyl ethyl)-3-cyclo hexen-1-ol (7.8%), 4-methyl-1-(1-methylethyl)-bicyclo[3.1.0]hexan-3-one (5.3%) and 2-isopropyl-5-methyl- 3-cyclohexen-1-one(5.0%).展开更多
