Fenlong Technology has been applied to increase yield by 20%-50%,improve quality by 5%,and retain water by 100%in 40 kinds of crop cultivated land and saline-alkali land in 26 provinces of China. This paper clarified for the first time the scientific theory system of Fenlong Technology using three-dimensional space resources"Fenlong Agricultural Nature Theory"and the development of the relative"limits"of agricultural growth, which provides a huge power support and natural force for expanding human living spaces.Through inventing and creating a scientific and technological system of farming tools, farming machinery, farming modes, and magic weapons for cultivation,Fenlong Technology can increase grain, promote ecological development, and greatly expand the living spaces of the Chinese nation and achieve sustainable development.Using Fenlong Technology,China has expanded from the current single"cultivated land agriculture"to the"big pattern agriculture"of Fenlong"cultivated land+saline land+degraded grassland+marginal land+desertified land+river water",flexibly used 147 million ha of"three-dimensional space resources"of land, and the newly increased food, meat, and fish can feed 300 million to 400 million people, increased the water storage by 100 billion m^(3),and reduced the collection of groundwater by 20 million to 60 billion m^(3). 展开更多

It is common to observe the epidemic risk perception(ERP)and a decline in subjective well-being(SWB)in the context of public health events, such as Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19).However,there have been few studies exploring the impact of individuals’ERP within living space on their SWB,especially from a geographical and daily activity perspective after the resumption of work and other activities following a wave of the pandemic. In this paper,we conducted a study with 789 participants in urban China, measuring their ERP within living space and examining its influence on their SWB using path analysis. The results indicated that individuals’ERP within their living space had a significant negative effect on their SWB.The density of certain types of facilities within their living space, such as bus stops, subway stations, restaurants, fast food shops, convenience shops, hospitals, and public toilets, had a significantly negative impact on their SWB,mediated by their ERP within living space.Additionally, participation in out-of-home work and other activities not only increased individuals’ERP within living space, but also strengthened its negative effect on their SWB. 展开更多

Robot’s living space Human-robot relationship Robot humanization Hybrid intelligence Human-robot integrated society Robots,as the creation of humans, became an irreplaceable component in human society. With the advancement of technologies, robots have become more and more intelligent and have been widely used in many fields, such as disease diagnosis, customer services, healthcare for the older people, and so on.As robots made our lives much more convenient than ever before, they also brought many potential risks and challenges in technology, security, and ethic. To better understand the development of robots,we proposed a concept of a robot’s living space and analyzed the role of robots in our society. In this paper,we focus on setting a theoretical framework of the robot’s living space to further understand the human-robot relationship. The research in this paper contains three central aspects.First,we interpret the concept of the robot’s living space and the functions of each space.Second,we analyze and summarize the relative technologies which support robots living well in each space. Finally,we provide advice and improvement measures based on a discussion of potential problems caused by the developments of robots. With the trend of robots humanization and human-robot society integration,we should seriously consider how to collaborate with intelligent robots to achieve hybrid intelligence. To build a harmonious human-robot integrated society, studying the robot’s living space and its relationship with humans is the prerequisite and roadmap. 展开更多

Recently, the demand of services for architectural space is more increasing due to the diversification and complication of people's needs. In this research, it is assumed that the robot will support people's various needs and people's lives in the near future. In this study, the authors investigated the relationship between a robot and a person in quasi space close to actual life space. The authors carried out an experiment to clarify the feelings of worriment due to a robot in the living room in the case of Japanese males. This research aims to establish architecture techniques for robots and humans living together. In this experiment, the robot approached a male sitting on a sofa in quasi space. At different distances between the robot and the male, the subject evaluated his feelings of worriment from "no worriment" to "worriment" in five steps from one to five. The robot used in this experiment is middle-sized (380 mm (L) × 380 mm (W) × 350 mm (H)). In this experiment, it is considered that the robot asks for help outside when an emergency occurs. In this experiment, the authors had three situations for the subject: watching television, reading a magazine and just sitting. 展开更多

The quality dimension of the urban living space was addressed much earlier abroad; nevertheless, it has not been studied in the Chinese academia up to date, as evidenced by the limited research literature. Through recourse to Rich BOYER′s nine-factor theory, this study attempted to evaluate and rank 31 target cities, by using the data from the China Statistical Yearbook 2002. Our research results show that the quality of a city′s living space is in positive correlation with its size, and that there will be changing demands for the quality of the urban living space as a result of future social, economic, sci-tech, cultural and educational developments, combined with the improvement of the overall quality of urban residents. Previous research was focused on the quality of food, housing, education, transportation and entertainment. However, with the development of the knowledge-economy, such factors as information accessibility, green environment, and air quality, will be major considerations in the quality evaluation of the urban living space. 展开更多

Consumption is an active process that engages the social world for individuals to make use of certain products. For many, the living room is the locus of product use, social activities, cultural values, and the personal narrative of the people who live in it. Consumers engage with their furniture in order for it to function effectively for them: It is thus used to furnish both the home and the self as well. Creating a certain living space with a particular use of furniture and interior decoration is the precise way in which the resident forms its arrangements, and builds a relationship with the surrounding objects in that living space. This activity, I argue, positions the residents in the process of presenting their personality characteristics and cultural identity. The Ethnographic approach is most appropriate methodology for research into such a personal area: the living room within the domestic environment. The topic of this research falls between different fields of studies including consumerism and media. This research reviews the influence of advertising in magazines and furniture shops on the meaning of living space design and how that encourages higher levels of consumption. 展开更多

This paper reports"the fourth set"of drilling tillage after"ploughing(hoeing)"by manpower, animal power and tractor——Fenlong tillage technology(referred to as"Fenlong technology").It makes the cultivated land and saline alkali land transformed into"sponge"farmland through"drill bit"vertically digging into the soil,one-time deep cultivation, not disturbing soil layer, and granulating the soil,to bring about the effects of"expanding the land, releasing the natural force, water conservation, disaster reduction, carbon reduction, tillage saving, fertilizer saving and grain increasing",and can broaden the space for human survival and development. It has been applied to more than 50 crops in 28 provinces, including Guangxi,Hebei and Tibet.Without increasing the use of fertilizer and water, the yield of varieties in cultivated land increased by 10%-50%,while that in saline and alkaline land increased by 20%-100%.The storage of natural precipitation increased by 100%,and drought, high temperature and low temperature decreased by 20%-30%,and carbon sequestration and emission reduction reached 20%.It is proposed that China can implement the"dual strategy"platform of farmland, saline alkali land, rivers and water bodies constructing the"incremental""five new warehouses"of grain, water, fish, sugar, etc.and"increased grain return"abroad,to ensure national security. 展开更多
