The ZMNF andvibrations resulted by it are studied. First, calculating method of the ZMNF excited byelectromagnetic in vibrational system of coupled mechanics and electrics are given from the view ofmagnetic energy. Laws that the ZMNF varies with active power and exciting current are obtained andare verified by experiments. Then, coupled lateral and torsional vibration of rotor shaft system isstudied by considering rest eccentricity, rotating eccentricity and swing eccentricity. UsingLargrange-Maxwell equation when three phases are asymmetric derives differential equation of thecoupled vibration. With energy method of nonlinear vibration, amplitude-frequency characteristics ofresonance are studied when rotating speed of rotor equals to ZMNF. The results show that ZMNF willoccur in turbine generators by the action of electromagnetic. Because ZMNF varies withelectromagnetic parameters, resonance can occur when exciting frequency of the rotor speed is fixedwhereas exciting current change. Blades are one of the important components on aircraft engines.If they break due to vibration failure,the normal operation of the entire engine will be offected.Therefore,it is necessary to measure their natural frequ...Blades are one of the important components on aircraft engines.If they break due to vibration failure,the normal operation of the entire engine will be offected.Therefore,it is necessary to measure their natural frequency before installing them on the engine to avoid resonance.At present,most blade vibration testing systems require manual operation by operators,which has high requirements for operators and the testing process is also very cumbersome.Therefore,the testing efficiency is low and cannot meet the needs of efficient testing.To solve the current problems of low testing efficiency and high operational requirements,a high-precision and high-efficiency automatic test system is designed.The testing accuracy of this system can reach ±1%,and the testing efficiency is improved by 37% compared to manual testing.Firstly,the influence of compression force and vibration exciter position on natural frequency test is analyzed by amplitude-frequency curve,so as to calibrate servo cylinder and fourdimensional motion platform.Secondly,the sine wave signal is used as the excitation to sweep the blade linearly,and the natural frequency is determined by the amplitude peak in the frequency domain.Finally,the accuracy experiment and efficiency experiment are carried out on the developed test system,whose results verify its high efficiency and high precision.展开更多
Recently,ambient vibration test(AVT)is widely used tu estimate dynamic characteristics of large civil struc- tures.Dynamic characteristics ean be affected by various envirnnmental factors such as humidity,intensity of...Recently,ambient vibration test(AVT)is widely used tu estimate dynamic characteristics of large civil struc- tures.Dynamic characteristics ean be affected by various envirnnmental factors such as humidity,intensity of wind,and temperature.Besides these environmental conditions,tire mass of vehicles may change the measured valnes when traffic-in- duced vibration is used as a source of AVT tor bridges.The effect of vehicle mass on dynamic characteristics is investigated through traffic-induced vibration tests on three bridges;(1)three-span suspension bridge(128m+404m+128m),(2) five-span continuous steel box girder bridge(59m+3@ 95m+59m),(3)simply supported plate girder bridge(46m). Acceleration histories of each measurement location under normal traffic are recorded for 30 minutes at field.These recor- ded histories are divided into individual vibrations and are combined into two groups aceording to the level of vibration;one by heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses and the other by light vehicles such as passenger cars.Separate processing of the two groups of signals shows that,for the middle and long-span bridges,the difference can be hardly detected,but,for the short span bridges whose mass is relatively small,the measured natural frequencies can change up to 5.4%.展开更多

Then, based on this study and the previous reports,...In the present work, a thorough investigation on the microstructural and morphological aspects of dragonfly wings was carried out using scanning electron microscope. Then, based on this study and the previous reports, a precise three-dimensional numerical model was developed and natural frequencies and vibration modes of dragonfly forewing were determined by finite element method. The results shown that dragonfly wings are made of a series of adaptive materials, which form a very complex composite structure. This bio-composite fabrication has some unique features and potential benefits. Furthermore, the numerical results show that the first natural frequency of dragonfly wings is about 168 Hz and bending is the predominant deformation mode in this stage. The accuracy of the present analysis is verified by comparison of calculated results with experimental data. This paper may be helpful for micro aerial vehicle design concerning dynamic response.展开更多
In this paper,the blade is assumed to be a rotating variable thickness cantilever twisted plate structure,and the natural vibrations of variable thickness cantilever twisted plate made of metal porous material are stu...In this paper,the blade is assumed to be a rotating variable thickness cantilever twisted plate structure,and the natural vibrations of variable thickness cantilever twisted plate made of metal porous material are studied.It is assumed that the thickness of the plate changes along spanwise direction and chordwise direction,respectively,and it changes in both directions.The classical thin shell theory,the first and second fundamental forms of surface and von Karman geometric relationship are employed to derive the total potential energy and kinetic energy of the cantilever twisted plate,in which the centrifugal force potential due to high rotational speed is included.Then,according to the Rayleigh-Ritz procedure and applying the polynomial functions which satisfy the cantilever boundary conditions,the dynamic system expressed by equations of motion is reduced to an eigenvalue problem.By numerical simulation,the frequency curves and the mode shapes of the twisted plate can be obtained to reveal the internal connection between natural vibration and the parameters.A series of comparison studies are performed to verify the accuracy of the present formulation and calculations,in which compared data come from experimental,finite element method and theoretical calculation,respectively.The influence of pre-twist angle,three different forms of thickness taper ratio and rotational speed on natural vibration,mode exchange and frequency veering phenomenon of the system is discussed in detail.In addition,the approach proposed here can efficiently extract analytical expressions of mode functions for rotating variable thickness cantilever twisted plate structures.展开更多

Secondly, the RFC of DSS was deduced out and the methods to select mode shape were presented. Finally, the relationship was extended to multilevel transmission system (MTS), and the RFC of this system was explored. The conclusions is this: 1) the necessary RFC requires the existence of joint engaging couple (JEC); 2) for DSS, the sufficient is the number of boundary transfer factors (f(B)) larger than 2; 3) the whale system can be split into independent groups, the total multiplicity is the sum of independent solution number of every group, the latter is the number of independent f(B), = 0 inside the group minus 1.展开更多
The influence of weights is usually ignored in the study of nonlinear vibrations of plates.In this paper,the effect of structure weights on the nonlinear vibration of a composite circular plate with a rigid body is pr...The influence of weights is usually ignored in the study of nonlinear vibrations of plates.In this paper,the effect of structure weights on the nonlinear vibration of a composite circular plate with a rigid body is presented.The nonlinear governing equations are derived from the generalized Hamilton's principle and the von Kármán plate theory.The equilibrium configurations due to weights are determined and validated by the finite element method(FEM).A nonlinear model for the vibration around the equilibrium configuration is established.Moreover,the natural frequencies and amplitude-frequency responses of harmonically forced vibrations are calculated.The study shows that the structure weights introduce additional linear and quadratic nonlinear terms into the dynamical model.This leads to interesting phenomena.For example,considering weights increases the natural frequency.Furthermore,when the influence of weights is considered,the vibration response of the plate becomes asymmetrical.展开更多
Vibration tests were carried out on three types of stiffened aluminum plates with fully clamped boundaries under random base excitation. During the test, the response of the specimens was monitored using strain gauges...Vibration tests were carried out on three types of stiffened aluminum plates with fully clamped boundaries under random base excitation. During the test, the response of the specimens was monitored using strain gauges. Based on the strain history, the accumulation of fatigue damage of the stiffened plates was estimated by means of the rainflow cycle counting technique and the Miner linear damage accumulation model in the time domain. Utilizing the change of natural frequencies, a nonlinear model was fitted for predicting the fatigue damage of plate and then the foregone failure criterion of 5% reduction in natural frequency is improved. The influence of section and spacing of the stiffeners on the vibration fatigue behavior of the aluminum plate was investigated. The results show that the fatigue life of aluminum plate increases with adding either T or L section riveted stiffeners. With the same cross-sectional area of stiffener, the T section stiffened plate shows longer fatigue life than L section stiffened plate. Meanwhile, the vibration fatigue life also shows great sensitivity to the spacing between the stiffeners.展开更多

The main object of this paper is to use the mixed model for multilayer plates, analyzing each layer as an isolated plate, where the continuity of displacements is achieved by Lagrange multipliers (representing static variables). This procedure allows us to work with any model for single plate (so as to ensure the proper behavior of each layer), and the complexity of the multilayer system is avoided by ensuring the condition of displacements by the Lagrange multipliers (static variables). The plate is discretized by finite element modeling based on a primary hybrid model, where the domain is divided by quadrilateral, both for the displacement field and static variables. This mixed element for plates was implemented and several examples of vibrations have been verified successfully by the results obtained by other methods in the literature.展开更多

By accurately considering t...Free vibration of statically thermal postbuckled functionally graded material (FGM) beams with surface-bonded piezoelectric layers subject to both temperature rise and voltage is studied. By accurately considering the axial extension and based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, geometrically nonlinear dynamic governing equations for FGM beams with surface-bonded piezoelectric layers subject to thermo-electro- mechanical loadings are formulated. It is assumed that the material properties of the middle FGM layer vary continuously as a power law function of the thickness coordinate, and the piezoelectric layers are isotropic and homogenous. By assuming that the amplitude of the beam vibration is small and its response is harmonic, the above mentioned non-linear partial differential equations are reduced to two sets of coupled ordinary differential equations. One is for the postbuckling, and the other is for the linear vibration of the beam superimposed upon the postbuckled configuration. Using a shooting method to solve the two sets of ordinary differential equations with fixed-fixed boundary conditions numerically, the response of postbuckling and free vibration in the vicinity of the postbuckled configuration of the beam with fixed-fixed ends and subject to transversely nonuniform heating and uniform electric field is obtained. Thermo-electric postbuckling equilibrium paths and characteristic curves of the first three natural frequencies versus the temperature, the electricity, and the material gradient parameters are plotted. It is found that the three lowest frequencies of the prebuckled beam decrease with the increase of the temperature, but those of a buckled beam increase monotonically with the temperature rise. The results also show that the tensional force produced in the piezoelectric layers by the voltage can efficiently increase the critical buckling temperature and the natural frequency.展开更多

Equations of motion of an FGM beam are derived by directly integrating the stress-form equations of elasticity along the beam depth with the inertial resultant forces related to the included coupling and higherorder shear strain. Assuming harmonic response, governing equations of the free vibration of the FGM beam are reduced to a standard system of second-order ordinary differential equations associated with boundary conditions in terms of shape functions related to axial and transverse displacements and the rotational angle. By a shooting method to solve the two-point boundary value problem of the three coupled ordinary differential equations, free vibration response of thick FGM beams is obtained numerically. Particularly, for a beam with simply supported edges, the natural frequency of an FGM Levinson beam is analytically derived in terms of the natural frequency of a corresponding homogenous Euler-Bernoulli beam. As the material properties are assumed to vary through the depth according to the power-law functions, the numerical results of frequencies are presented to examine the effects of the material gradient parameter, the length-to-depth ratio, and the boundary conditions on the vibration response.展开更多

The first natural frequency of the coupled system is generally lower than themotor's rigid mode frequency. The equation of motion is developed based on the generalized Hamilton's principle. Eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are semi-analytically obtained. The governing equation is represented in a canonical state space form, which is defined by two matrix differential operators. The orthogonality of the eigenfunctions and the adjoint eigenfunctions is used to decouple the system in the state space. The responses of the system to arbitrary external excitation and initial conditions are expressed in the modal expansion. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the proposed approach. In the traditional method, the beam model was usually u...Natural characteristics of thin?wall pipe of the compressor under uniformly distributed pressure were presented in this paper based on a cylindrical shell model. In the traditional method, the beam model was usually used to analyze the pipe system. In actual fact, the pipe segment of the compressor was always broken in the form of a long crack or a partial hole and the phenomenon was hardly explained by beam model. According to the structure characteristic of compressor pipe segment, whose radius is large and thickness is little, shell model shows the advantage in this kind of pipe problem. Based on Sanders’ shell theory, the vibration di erential equation of pipe was established by apply?ing the energy method. The influences of length to radius ratio(L/R), thickness to radius ratio(h/R), circumferential wave number(n) and pressure(q) on the natural frequencies of pipe were analyzed. The study shows: Pressure and structural parameters have a great e ect on the natural characteristics of the pipe. Natural frequency increases as the pressure increases, especially for the higher mode. The sensitivity of natural frequency on pressure becomes stronger with h/R ratio increases; when L/R ratio is greater than a certain critical value, the influence of the pressure on natural frequency will no longer be obvious. The value of n corresponding to the minimum natural frequency also depends on the value of pressure. In the end, analysis of the forced vibration of a specific pipeline model was given and the modal shapes were illustrated to understand the break of the pipe. The research here will provide the theory support for the dynamic design of related pressure pipe and further experiment study should be employed.展开更多

SRSM integrates the advantages of support vector machine(SVM) and traditional response surface method(RSM), and utilizes experimental samples to construct a suitable response surface function(RSF) to replace the complicated and abstract finite element model. Moreover, the randomness of material parameters, structural dimension and operating condition are considered during extracting data so that the response surface function is more agreeable to the practical model. The results indicate that based on the same experimental data, SRSM has come closer than RSM reliability to approximating Monte Carlo method(MCM); while SRSM(17.296 s) needs far less running time than MCM(10958 s) and RSM(9840 s). Therefore,under the same simulation conditions, SRSM has the largest analysis efficiency, and can be considered a feasible and valid method to analyze structural reliability.展开更多

The dynamic equation of its motion has been obtained based on Newton's second law. After definition of a error margin,the dynamic equation of the motion can be treated as a Duffing oscillator,and the influences of non-dimensional parameters on the stiffness and transmissibility are studied. The natural frequency and transmissibility are achieved in a linearization range,where the ratio of linear to nonlinear items is small enough.The influence of mass ratio and non-dimensional parameters on natural frequency are analyzed. Finally,a comparison of numerical example demonstrates that the QZS system can realize a lower stiffness within an increased range.展开更多

A cell volume distribution coefficient is introduced to modify the original Gibson- Ashby equations of effective Young's modulus of foam materials. A Burr distribution is imported to describe the cell volume distribution situation. Three Burr distribution pa- rameters are obtained and related to the cell volume range and the diversity. Based on the plate theory and the effective modulus theory, the natural frequency of foam plates is calculated with the change of the cell volume distribution parameters. The relationship between the frequencies and the cell volumes are derived. The scale factor of the average cell size is introduced and proved to be an important factor to the performance of the foam plate. The result is shown by the existing theory of size effects. It is determined that the cell volume distribution has an impact on the natural frequency of the plate structure based on the cell volume range, the diversity, and the average size, and the impact can lead to optimization of the synthesis procedure.展开更多

文摘In this paper,the blade is assumed to be a rotating variable thickness cantilever twisted plate structure,and the natural vibrations of variable thickness cantilever twisted plate made of metal porous material are studied.It is assumed that the thickness of the plate changes along spanwise direction and chordwise direction,respectively,and it changes in both directions.The classical thin shell theory,the first and second fundamental forms of surface and von Karman geometric relationship are employed to derive the total potential energy and kinetic energy of the cantilever twisted plate,in which the centrifugal force potential due to high rotational speed is included.Then,according to the Rayleigh-Ritz procedure and applying the polynomial functions which satisfy the cantilever boundary conditions,the dynamic system expressed by equations of motion is reduced to an eigenvalue problem.By numerical simulation,the frequency curves and the mode shapes of the twisted plate can be obtained to reveal the internal connection between natural vibration and the parameters.A series of comparison studies are performed to verify the accuracy of the present formulation and calculations,in which compared data come from experimental,finite element method and theoretical calculation,respectively.The influence of pre-twist angle,three different forms of thickness taper ratio and rotational speed on natural vibration,mode exchange and frequency veering phenomenon of the system is discussed in detail.In addition,the approach proposed here can efficiently extract analytical expressions of mode functions for rotating variable thickness cantilever twisted plate structures.
文摘To investigate the repeated frequency condition (RFC) for torsional vibration of shafts' system, the transfer matrix method was adopted. Firstly, the transfer relationship from the boundary to engaging disks of double shafts' system (DSS) was constructed. Secondly, the RFC of DSS was deduced out and the methods to select mode shape were presented. Finally, the relationship was extended to multilevel transmission system (MTS), and the RFC of this system was explored. The conclusions is this: 1) the necessary RFC requires the existence of joint engaging couple (JEC); 2) for DSS, the sufficient is the number of boundary transfer factors (f(B)) larger than 2; 3) the whale system can be split into independent groups, the total multiplicity is the sum of independent solution number of every group, the latter is the number of independent f(B), = 0 inside the group minus 1.

文摘The influence of weights is usually ignored in the study of nonlinear vibrations of plates.In this paper,the effect of structure weights on the nonlinear vibration of a composite circular plate with a rigid body is presented.The nonlinear governing equations are derived from the generalized Hamilton's principle and the von Kármán plate theory.The equilibrium configurations due to weights are determined and validated by the finite element method(FEM).A nonlinear model for the vibration around the equilibrium configuration is established.Moreover,the natural frequencies and amplitude-frequency responses of harmonically forced vibrations are calculated.The study shows that the structure weights introduce additional linear and quadratic nonlinear terms into the dynamical model.This leads to interesting phenomena.For example,considering weights increases the natural frequency.Furthermore,when the influence of weights is considered,the vibration response of the plate becomes asymmetrical.

文摘Vibration tests were carried out on three types of stiffened aluminum plates with fully clamped boundaries under random base excitation. During the test, the response of the specimens was monitored using strain gauges. Based on the strain history, the accumulation of fatigue damage of the stiffened plates was estimated by means of the rainflow cycle counting technique and the Miner linear damage accumulation model in the time domain. Utilizing the change of natural frequencies, a nonlinear model was fitted for predicting the fatigue damage of plate and then the foregone failure criterion of 5% reduction in natural frequency is improved. The influence of section and spacing of the stiffeners on the vibration fatigue behavior of the aluminum plate was investigated. The results show that the fatigue life of aluminum plate increases with adding either T or L section riveted stiffeners. With the same cross-sectional area of stiffener, the T section stiffened plate shows longer fatigue life than L section stiffened plate. Meanwhile, the vibration fatigue life also shows great sensitivity to the spacing between the stiffeners.
文摘Natural frequencies for multilayer plates are calculated by mixed finite element method. The main object of this paper is to use the mixed model for multilayer plates, analyzing each layer as an isolated plate, where the continuity of displacements is achieved by Lagrange multipliers (representing static variables). This procedure allows us to work with any model for single plate (so as to ensure the proper behavior of each layer), and the complexity of the multilayer system is avoided by ensuring the condition of displacements by the Lagrange multipliers (static variables). The plate is discretized by finite element modeling based on a primary hybrid model, where the domain is divided by quadrilateral, both for the displacement field and static variables. This mixed element for plates was implemented and several examples of vibrations have been verified successfully by the results obtained by other methods in the literature.

文摘Free vibration of statically thermal postbuckled functionally graded material (FGM) beams with surface-bonded piezoelectric layers subject to both temperature rise and voltage is studied. By accurately considering the axial extension and based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, geometrically nonlinear dynamic governing equations for FGM beams with surface-bonded piezoelectric layers subject to thermo-electro- mechanical loadings are formulated. It is assumed that the material properties of the middle FGM layer vary continuously as a power law function of the thickness coordinate, and the piezoelectric layers are isotropic and homogenous. By assuming that the amplitude of the beam vibration is small and its response is harmonic, the above mentioned non-linear partial differential equations are reduced to two sets of coupled ordinary differential equations. One is for the postbuckling, and the other is for the linear vibration of the beam superimposed upon the postbuckled configuration. Using a shooting method to solve the two sets of ordinary differential equations with fixed-fixed boundary conditions numerically, the response of postbuckling and free vibration in the vicinity of the postbuckled configuration of the beam with fixed-fixed ends and subject to transversely nonuniform heating and uniform electric field is obtained. Thermo-electric postbuckling equilibrium paths and characteristic curves of the first three natural frequencies versus the temperature, the electricity, and the material gradient parameters are plotted. It is found that the three lowest frequencies of the prebuckled beam decrease with the increase of the temperature, but those of a buckled beam increase monotonically with the temperature rise. The results also show that the tensional force produced in the piezoelectric layers by the voltage can efficiently increase the critical buckling temperature and the natural frequency.

文摘Free vibration response of functionally graded material (FGM) beams is studied based on the Levinson beam theory (LBT). Equations of motion of an FGM beam are derived by directly integrating the stress-form equations of elasticity along the beam depth with the inertial resultant forces related to the included coupling and higherorder shear strain. Assuming harmonic response, governing equations of the free vibration of the FGM beam are reduced to a standard system of second-order ordinary differential equations associated with boundary conditions in terms of shape functions related to axial and transverse displacements and the rotational angle. By a shooting method to solve the two-point boundary value problem of the three coupled ordinary differential equations, free vibration response of thick FGM beams is obtained numerically. Particularly, for a beam with simply supported edges, the natural frequency of an FGM Levinson beam is analytically derived in terms of the natural frequency of a corresponding homogenous Euler-Bernoulli beam. As the material properties are assumed to vary through the depth according to the power-law functions, the numerical results of frequencies are presented to examine the effects of the material gradient parameter, the length-to-depth ratio, and the boundary conditions on the vibration response.
文摘Delaminations in composite laminates may de-velop from small cracks due to fabrication and impact load-ing,or from places of high stress concentration.The locationsof the delaminations are not determinate.In this research,ananalytical solution for the free vibration of a composite beamwith two overlapping delaminations is presented.The dela-minated beam is analyzed as seven interconnected beamsusing the delaminations as their boundaries.The continuityand equilibrium conditions are satisfied between the adjoin-ing regions of the beams.Classical beam theory is applied toeach of the beams.Complex vibration behaviors emerge fordifferent sizes and locations of the delaminations.Compar-ison with analytical results reported in the literature verifiesthe validity of the present solution.

文摘In shipping and aircraft engineering, the vibrating motor or instrumentationis usually mounted on a non-rigid base. To apply isolation design effectively, it is necessary toinvestigate the nature vibration characteristics of the rigid motor, flexible base coupled system. Auniversal dynamic express for the coupled system is derived. A PC-based measurement solution ispresented. And the system's dynamic behavior is then investigated numerically and experimentally.The results show that a strong interaction will exist between the motor's rigid mode and theflexible base's mode when the motor's mounting frequency is close to the flexible base's firstnatural frequency. The first natural frequency of the coupled system is generally lower than themotor's rigid mode frequency. At high frequency, the flexible base's modes are the dominant modes ofthe coupled system.

文摘In this paper, transverse vibration of an axially moving beam supported by a viscoelastic foundation is analyzed by a complex modal analysis method. The equation of motion is developed based on the generalized Hamilton's principle. Eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are semi-analytically obtained. The governing equation is represented in a canonical state space form, which is defined by two matrix differential operators. The orthogonality of the eigenfunctions and the adjoint eigenfunctions is used to decouple the system in the state space. The responses of the system to arbitrary external excitation and initial conditions are expressed in the modal expansion. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the proposed approach. The effects of the foundation parameters on free and forced vibration are examined.

文摘Natural characteristics of thin?wall pipe of the compressor under uniformly distributed pressure were presented in this paper based on a cylindrical shell model. In the traditional method, the beam model was usually used to analyze the pipe system. In actual fact, the pipe segment of the compressor was always broken in the form of a long crack or a partial hole and the phenomenon was hardly explained by beam model. According to the structure characteristic of compressor pipe segment, whose radius is large and thickness is little, shell model shows the advantage in this kind of pipe problem. Based on Sanders’ shell theory, the vibration di erential equation of pipe was established by apply?ing the energy method. The influences of length to radius ratio(L/R), thickness to radius ratio(h/R), circumferential wave number(n) and pressure(q) on the natural frequencies of pipe were analyzed. The study shows: Pressure and structural parameters have a great e ect on the natural characteristics of the pipe. Natural frequency increases as the pressure increases, especially for the higher mode. The sensitivity of natural frequency on pressure becomes stronger with h/R ratio increases; when L/R ratio is greater than a certain critical value, the influence of the pressure on natural frequency will no longer be obvious. The value of n corresponding to the minimum natural frequency also depends on the value of pressure. In the end, analysis of the forced vibration of a specific pipeline model was given and the modal shapes were illustrated to understand the break of the pipe. The research here will provide the theory support for the dynamic design of related pressure pipe and further experiment study should be employed.

文摘To ameliorate reliability analysis efficiency for aeroengine components, such as compressor blade, support vector machine response surface method(SRSM) is proposed. SRSM integrates the advantages of support vector machine(SVM) and traditional response surface method(RSM), and utilizes experimental samples to construct a suitable response surface function(RSF) to replace the complicated and abstract finite element model. Moreover, the randomness of material parameters, structural dimension and operating condition are considered during extracting data so that the response surface function is more agreeable to the practical model. The results indicate that based on the same experimental data, SRSM has come closer than RSM reliability to approximating Monte Carlo method(MCM); while SRSM(17.296 s) needs far less running time than MCM(10958 s) and RSM(9840 s). Therefore,under the same simulation conditions, SRSM has the largest analysis efficiency, and can be considered a feasible and valid method to analyze structural reliability.

文摘Combining disk springs having negative stiffness with a rolling-ball in parallel is proposed in this paper. It is used to reduce the system stiffness and the positioning error in a non-ideal environment.The characteristics of a disk spring are analyzed. The dynamic equation of its motion has been obtained based on Newton's second law. After definition of a error margin,the dynamic equation of the motion can be treated as a Duffing oscillator,and the influences of non-dimensional parameters on the stiffness and transmissibility are studied. The natural frequency and transmissibility are achieved in a linearization range,where the ratio of linear to nonlinear items is small enough.The influence of mass ratio and non-dimensional parameters on natural frequency are analyzed. Finally,a comparison of numerical example demonstrates that the QZS system can realize a lower stiffness within an increased range.

文摘In this paper, vibration analysis of irregular-closed-cell foam plates is per- formed. A cell volume distribution coefficient is introduced to modify the original Gibson- Ashby equations of effective Young's modulus of foam materials. A Burr distribution is imported to describe the cell volume distribution situation. Three Burr distribution pa- rameters are obtained and related to the cell volume range and the diversity. Based on the plate theory and the effective modulus theory, the natural frequency of foam plates is calculated with the change of the cell volume distribution parameters. The relationship between the frequencies and the cell volumes are derived. The scale factor of the average cell size is introduced and proved to be an important factor to the performance of the foam plate. The result is shown by the existing theory of size effects. It is determined that the cell volume distribution has an impact on the natural frequency of the plate structure based on the cell volume range, the diversity, and the average size, and the impact can lead to optimization of the synthesis procedure.
