Traumatic brain injury(TBI)is closely related to neuro-inflammatory response and causes a complex pathological process and serious consequence.In this study,we explored whether the formatted citrus peel extract gold lotion(GL)could have a therapeutic effect on rats suffered TBI.TBI rat model was prepared by the electric Cortical Contusion Impactor(eCCI)device.Prevention against TBI by GL was assessed by the behavioral,organizational of rats and the molecular markers in the brain injury area.The results showed that GL could reduce nerve damage and neurological dysfunction.The mechanisms probably due to that GL could not only reduce the associated damage markers including GFAP,OX-42,TNF-α,COX-2,NF-κB and TLR4 but also promote the expression of VEGF which is responsible for protecting neuronal cells in the injury area.These findings revealed that GL could be a promising preparation for TBI prevention. 展开更多

The data were analyzed by variance analysis and multiple comparisons. The results showed that: Gexianmi moisturizing lotion had a better moisturizing effect, which was better than that of anthocyanin moisturizing lotion. Therefore, Gexianmi moisturizing lotion can be used to effectively maintain the moisture of the human skin stratum corneum. 展开更多

Exploring the mechanism of action of San Huang lotion for the topical treatment of eczema based on network pharmacology and molecular docking techniques

Objective:To predict the mechanism of action of San Huang lotion for topical treatment of eczema at the level of network pharmacology and molecular docking technology.Methods:The active ingredients and corresponding targets of San Huang lotion were collected using the TCMSP data platform and UniProt;the relevant gene targets of San Huang lotion were collected using the GeneCards database,OMIM database,TTD database,and DrugBank database;the intersection targets of San Huang lotion and eczema were obtained by creating avenn diagram;the key active ingredients and targets were screened by constructing a disease-active ingredient-target map,and the key active ingredients and core targets were screened out by constructing disease-active ingredient-target diagrams and PPInetwork diagrams;GOand KEGGenrichment analyses were conducted using the metascapewebsite and the higher significant entries were selected to produce bar charts and bubble plots.Finally,molecular docking of key active ingredients and core targets was performed.Results:A total of 134 active ingredients and 3,320 eczema-related target genes were screened for San Huang lotion,and 126 intersecting targets were obtained for San Huang lotion and eczema.The five key active ingredients of San Huang lotion for topical treatment of eczema and six core targets ofAKT1,TNF,IL6,IL1B,TP53andVEGFA were obtained by drug-active ingredient-target map and PPInetwork map.The GOand KEGGenrichment analysis showed that the topical treatment of eczema withSanHuanglotion might be mediated throughIL-17signaling pathway,TNFsignaling pathway and Th17cell differentiation pathway.The molecular docking results showed that the docking binding energy of key active ingredients and core targets was mostly less than-5 kcal/mol,and the docking was good.Conclusion:The quercetin,luteolin,wogonin,formononetin,beta-sitosterol and other active ingredients in San Huang lotion may act on eczema through AKT1,TNF,IL6,IL1B,TP53,VEGFA and other targets,and through IL-17signaling pathway,TNFsignaling pathway,Th17cell differentiation and other pathways. 展开更多

新型高分子表面增强剂对混凝土耐久性的影响研究

混凝土表面强度不足及开裂是导致海堤结构耐久性降低的重要因素。采用自主研制的丙烯酸酯共聚乳液为主要原材料的新型高分子表面增强剂,将其涂抹在混凝土表面进行抗氯离子渗透、抗碳化以及抗硫酸盐侵蚀试验,基于水胶比和养护时间等因素... 混凝土表面强度不足及开裂是导致海堤结构耐久性降低的重要因素。采用自主研制的丙烯酸酯共聚乳液为主要原材料的新型高分子表面增强剂,将其涂抹在混凝土表面进行抗氯离子渗透、抗碳化以及抗硫酸盐侵蚀试验,基于水胶比和养护时间等因素评估了新型高分子表面增强剂的效果。利用X衍射试验和压汞试验,从微观角度探究新型高分子表面增强剂对混凝土表面强度和耐久性的影响机制。试验结果表明:对比涂抹新型高分子表面增强剂的混凝土与标准组,前者显著优于后者,其抗氯离子渗透能力提高约49%~59%,抗碳化能力提高约35%~40%,耐腐蚀系数提高约3%~5%;增加养护龄期亦可增强混凝土结构的耐久性能。新型高分子表面增强剂可渗入到混凝土内部9mm处,能有效减少混凝土结构中50nm以上的孔隙数量,改善混凝土孔径分布,提高混凝土表面强度及耐久性。 展开更多

Experimental Study on Acute Toxicity of Yusheng Xiaoyang Lotion in Mice

[Objective] This study was carried out to provide toxicological basic data for the development and research of Yushen Xiaoyang Lotion.[Method]SPF SD mice, half male and half female, were divided into a blank control group and a Yusheng Xiaoyang Lotion group randomly. The percutaneous acute toxicity of Yusheng Xiaoyang Lotion was observed by one time limited dose method, and ap-parent sign changes and death condition of mice after administration of the drug were recorded. After the test, all the animals were weighed and subjected to gross anatomy, and if there were abnormal phenomena, further histopathological examina-tion of should be done. Animals died during the test should be subjected to anato-my. [Result] All the mice survived and exhibited normal behavior,glossy hair and increase of body weight in accordance with growth law.No local and systematic toxicity responses on skin were observed. In visual observation after dissection, no pathologic changes on heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney were observed. There were no significant differences in body weight between the Yusheng Xiaoyang Lo-tion group and the blank control group before administration,the 7th d after adminis-tration and the 14th after administration (P〉0.05). [Conclusion] In the transdermaldrug delivery acute toxicity test of Yusheng Xiaoyang Lotion on mice, no obvious toxic responses were observed under the total dose of 89.70 g/kg (equivalent to 120 times of the clinical daily dose for adults). 展开更多

目的:探究仙方活命饮加减联合苦参洗剂及康复新液治疗肛周脓肿术后患者的临床效果。方法:纳入2019年9月—2023年9月大田县中医院收治的70例肛周脓肿患者作为研究对象,按随机数表法将患者分为对照组与观察组,各35例。对照组予以苦参洗剂... 目的:探究仙方活命饮加减联合苦参洗剂及康复新液治疗肛周脓肿术后患者的临床效果。方法:纳入2019年9月—2023年9月大田县中医院收治的70例肛周脓肿患者作为研究对象,按随机数表法将患者分为对照组与观察组,各35例。对照组予以苦参洗剂熏洗及康复新液治疗,观察组在对照组基础上给予仙方活命饮加减内服治疗,两组均治疗2周。比较两组临床疗效、疼痛程度、创缘水肿评分、炎症因子水平、肛门功能。结果:观察组治疗总有效率较对照组高,术后3 d、7 d、14 d视觉模拟评分法(VAS)评分、创缘水肿评分较对照组低,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组治疗后C反应蛋白(CRP)、肿瘤坏死因子-α(TNF-α)、白细胞介素-6(IL-6)水平较对照组低,肛管静息压、肛管舒张压、肛管最大收缩压较对照组高,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:仙方活命饮加减内服联合苦参洗剂熏洗及康复新液外用治疗肛周脓肿术后患者效果显著,能减轻疼痛及炎症反应,加快水肿消退,改善肛门功能。 展开更多

Topical zinc sulfate and tea lotion have been used in treatment of acne vulgaris. Objectives: To evaluate effectiveness of 2% tea lotion in comparison with 5% zinc sulfate solution in the treatment of acne rosacea. Patients and Methods: This single, blinded, comparative therapeutic clinical trial was carried out in the Department of Dermatology—Baghdad Teaching Hospital from June 2006-December 2007. Twenty two patients with acne rosacea were divided into two groups and were instructed to apply the following lotions for two months, Group A used 2% tea lotion twice daily while Group B used 5% zinc sulfate solution twice daily. Patient with severe acne rosacea were excluded from the study. Clinical improvement was evaluated every 2 weeks by determination of the disease severity score (Sharquie’s score) before and after treatment. Results: Eighteen patients with acne rosacea completed the study with their ages ranging from 26 - 70 (40.5 ± 10.9) years. For Group A and Group B were 39.7 ± 8.2, 41.2 ± 13.1 years respectively, with eight patients in Group A, ten patients in Group B. Five percent zinc sulfate solution was statistically significant in reducing the disease severity score in acne rosacea, while 2% tea lotion was beneficial but did not reach statistically significant level as zinc sulfate solution. Conclusion: Five percent zinc sulfate solution was a good alternative remedy to be used in patients with acnerosacea. 展开更多

[Objectives]To establish suitable quality standards of children antipyretic lotion.[Methods]Qualitative identification was performed for Paederia scandens and Artemisia carvifolia in Children Antipyretic Lotion by thin-layer chromatography(TLC),and the content of paederosidic acid in children antipyretic lotion was determined by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Besides,chromatographic column Feinigen XPeonyx C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5μm),mobile phase was used,gradient elution was carried out with acetonitrile-0.1%phosphoric acid aqueous solution,the detection wavelength was 236 nm,the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min,the column temperature was 30℃,and the injection volume was 10μL.[Results]The thin-layer chromatography of P.scandens and A.carvifolia reference materials showed clear spots,good separation effect,strong specificity,and no interference in the limit control;paederosidic acid showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.65-9.75μg(R2=0.9996),the average sample recovery rate was 99.72%(RSD=2.52%).[Conclusions]The qualitative and quantitative methods established in this experiment are simple,reproducible,and the results are accurate and reliable,and can be applied as a quality control method for children antipyretic lotions. 展开更多

Simple HPLC Analysis of Hinokitiol in Skin Lotion with Visible Light Detection after Pre-Column Dabsylation

Hinokitiolis frequently added to personal care products as an antibacterial agent. We previously established an HPLC-UV method for determination of hinokitiol in skin lotion after pre-column derivatization with 4-fluoro-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole. However, the labeling reagent is expensive, and derivatives of degradation products of parabens, which may be added to skin lotion as general preservatives, interfered with the peak of the hinokitiol derivative. In this study, the concentration of hinokitiol in skin lotions was determined by HPLC with a visible light detector (450 nm) after pre-column derivatization with 4-(dimethylamino)azobenzene-4’-sulfonyl chloride (Dabsyl-Cl), a more economical reagent. A standard curve was obtained after derivatization with Dabsyl-Cl in borate buffer (pH 9.5) at 55&deg;C for 10 min. The retention time of Dabsyl-hinokitiol was 6.8 min. The calibration plot was linear in the range of 1.25 to 40 μg/mL with a r2 value of 0.9991, and the lower limit of quantification and detection were 0.60 μg/mL (absolute amount of 0.86 ng/20μL injection, signal-to-noise ratio of 10:1) and 0.18 μg/mL (absolute amount of 0.26 ng/20μL injection, signal-to-noise ratio of 3:1), respectively. The coefficient of variation was less than 8.8%. Seven Dabsyl-paraben derivatives showed little interference with the peak of Dabsyl-hinokitiol. The developed system was used to determine the content of hinokitiol in two skin lotions. Addition-recovery tests gave satisfactory results. 展开更多

[Objectives]To observe and analyze the clinical efficacy and possible mechanism of Chuanbai antipruritic lotion"water film"wet compress combined with chloramphenicol prednisone liniment in the treatment of acute eczema.[Methods]A total of 76 acute eczema cases admitted to Shiyan Taihe Hospital from January 2022 to March 2023 were divided into Western medicine treatment group and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group.In the Western medicine treatment group,chloramphenicol and prednisone liniment was applied to the skin lesions and oral administration of cetirizine hydrochloride.The course of treatment in both groups was 2 weeks(w).The levels of interferon-γ(IFN-γ),interleukin-4(IL-4)and the ratio of IFN-γ/IL-4 in the peripheral blood of patients before and 2 weeks after treatment,as well as serum immunoglobulin E(IgE),anti-IgE antibody and histamine(HA)level,and with skin lesions disappearing time,skin oil,transepidermal water loss(TEWL),eczema area and severity index(EASI)score,total effective rate,degree of pruritus and traditional Chinese medicine quality of life scale(EPQOLS)score to evaluate the efficacy.[Results]Compared with the Western medicine treatment group at 2 w,the disappearance time of skin lesions in the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine group was shortened,TEWL,itching degree and EASI score,serum IgE and HA,and peripheral blood IL-4 levels were all decreased(P<0.05).IFN-γand IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio,anti-IgE antibody,EPQOLS score and total effective rate were all increased(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.[Conclusions]Chuanbai antipruritic lotion"water film"wet compress combined with chloramphenicol prednisone liniment is an optimized and safe and efficient method for the treatment of acute eczema,which can quickly relieve the symptoms of inflammatory damage of eczema and restore the skin barrier function,dry dampness and relieve itch.Inhibition of the release of histamine active substances and regulation of immunity may be the main mechanisms. 展开更多

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) plays an important role in maintaining skin health, and topical vitamin C supplementation can counteract oxidative stress induced by UVA, due to excellent reducibility. To clarify the efficacy of vitamin C on the skin in the carrier of lotion, we studied its permeability, irritation and anti-aging effect in vitro and in vivo, using Franz cell system, cell model and clinical test. The permeability test showed that vitamin C with 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% mass ratio could effectively penetrate skin. The 20% of vitamin C lotion (VCL-20%) had the highest efficiency of transdermal penetration and the diffusion percentage reached 84.707% after 24 h. Besides, the permeation quantity of VCL-20% was 1.43 times that of the control group. Irritation test showed that the cytotoxicity of vitamin C lotion was low. And no allergic reaction happened in the occlusive patch test. Compared with the control group, using vitamin C lotion for 28 days could significantly improve subjects’ skin gloss of 10.53% and improve skin color, enhance facial skin elasticity and tightness of 9.20% and reduce wrinkle area of 12.27% (p < 0.05). 展开更多

[Objectives]To establish the TLC identification methods of Llicis Rotundae Cortex and Mahoniae Caulis and the determination method of syringin content in Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Lotion.[Methods]Thin layer chromatography(TLC)was used to qualitatively identify Llicis Rotundae Cortex and Mahoniae Caulis in Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Lotion.The quantitative analysis of syringin in Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Lotion was carried out by high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Chromatographic conditions are as follows:Luna 5μm C_(18)((2)100 A(250 mm×4.6 mm,5μm)column was adopted;acetonitrile(10%)-water(90%)was as the mobile phase,and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min;the detection wavelength was 265 nm;the sample size was 5μL;the column temperature was 30℃.[Results]Syringin had a good linear relationship with its peak area in the range of 0.190-2.856μg(R^(2)=0.9995).The RSD values of precision,stability and repeatability experiments were all lower than 2.5%,and the average sampling recovery rate(n=6)was 100.37%(RSD=-0.88%).[Conclusions]The method had the advantages of simple operation,strong specificity,good repeatability and stability,and can be used for the quality control of Zhuang Medicine Xiaoyan Zhiyang Lotion. 展开更多

目的:研究健脾祛风汤联合皮炎洗剂治疗特应性皮炎的效果及对免疫球蛋白E(IgE)和白介素-4(IL-4)的影响。方法:收集120例特应性皮炎患者临床资料,并开展回顾性对比研究。观察组60例,行健脾祛风汤联合皮炎洗剂;对照组60例,行皮炎洗剂干预... 目的:研究健脾祛风汤联合皮炎洗剂治疗特应性皮炎的效果及对免疫球蛋白E(IgE)和白介素-4(IL-4)的影响。方法:收集120例特应性皮炎患者临床资料,并开展回顾性对比研究。观察组60例,行健脾祛风汤联合皮炎洗剂;对照组60例,行皮炎洗剂干预。比较两组患者治疗效果,记录两组患者治疗前后皮肤屏障功能[皮脂含量、角质层含水量及经皮水分丢失(TEWL)含量]、血清因子(IL-4、IgE)水平及生活质量评分。结果:观察组患者整体疗效较对照组显著提高(P<0.05)。治疗后观察组患者皮脂含量和角质层含水量均高于对照组,TEWL低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。治疗后两组患者血清IL-4和IgE较治疗前均显著降低,且观察组低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。治疗后两组皮肤病生活质量指数(DLQI)和特应性皮炎积分(SCORAD)较治疗前均显著降低,且观察组低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:健脾祛风汤联合皮炎洗剂用于特应性皮炎效果显著,有助于保护皮肤屏障功能,减轻临床症状,改善患者生活质量。 展开更多
