A laboratory study was performed to assess the biodegradation of lube oil in bio-reactor with 304# stainless steel as a biofilm carrier. Among 164 oil degrading bacterial cultures isolated from oil contaminated soil samples, Commaonas acidovorans Px1, Bacillus sp. Px2, Pseudomonas sp. Px3 were selected to prepare a mixed consortium for the study based on the efficiency of lube oil utilization. The percentage of oil degraded by the mixed bacterial consortium decreased slightly from 99% to 97.2% as the concentration of lube oil was increased from 2000 to 10,000 mg/L. The degradation of TDOC (total dissolved organic carbon) showed a similar tendency compared with lube oil removal, which indicated that the intermediates in degradation process hardly accumulated. Selected mixed bacterial consortium showed their edge compared to activated sludge. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) photos showed that biofilms on stainless steel were robust and with a dimensional framework constructed by EPS (extracellular polymeric substances), which could promote the biodegradation of hydrocarbons. The increase of biofilm followed first-order kinetics with rate of 0.216 μg glucose/(cm2·day) in logarithm phase. With analysis of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) combined with removal of lube oil and TDOC, mixed bacterial consortium could degrade benzene and its derivatives, aromatic ring organic matters with a percentage over 97%. 展开更多

In a gas turbine power plant,the lubrication oil must be hot enough for the turbine start-up where the unit is in standstill mode.Currently,the strategy to heat the lubrication oil of ANSALDO V94.2 gas turbine power plant is operating the units in turning gear mode or interval mode.However,these strategies cause to suffering the power plant from high power consumption rate and aging.In this study,an auxiliary portable heating system was added to the unit 5 of the MAPNA built MGT-70(an Iranian version of V94.2)Aliabad Katoul-Iran power plant for increasing the lube oil temperature.Irreversibility,cost-effectiveness,and availability of the proposed heating system are studied by the concepts of exergy,economy,and reliability analyses,respectively.The result of the exergy analysis shows that by using the auxiliary portable lube oil heating system the exergy destruction decreases about 94.7%and 92.6%in comparison with turning gear mode and interval mode,respectively.The result of the economic analysis shows that the auxiliary portable heating system consumes less power rather than turning gear mode.Moreover,it is a cost-effective system which has no penalty and no non-profit production.Finally,the reliability analysis shows that the auxiliary portable lube oil heating system is a reliable tool during its lifetime. 展开更多

This article illustrates the application of the ICR series lube oil isodewaxing catalysts in commercial scale and proposes the strategy on long cycle operation and optimization of catalysts. The results of commercial application of the catalyst have revealed that the catalyst after pretreatment including drying, sulfidation and reduction can process VGO into base oils meeting the HVI II and HVI II+ standards, and can manufacture base oils meeting the HVI III standard after incorporating the filtrate oil or gatch from acetone-benzene solvent dewaxing unit. The nitrogen content of the feed oil to the IDW reactor should be controlled at 1.0—1.5 ppm, while the CO and CO2 contents in fresh hydrogen is strictly controlled to avoid poisoning of the IDW-HDF catalysts. 展开更多

换热器是影响润滑油加氢装置安全运行的关键设备,为提高换热器长周期运行效率,对螺纹锁紧环式传统换热器与缠绕管式换热器进行了比对研究,发现缠绕管式换热器运行稳定、管程与壳程之间产生内漏的可能性极小,是一种换热效率较高的换热设... 换热器是影响润滑油加氢装置安全运行的关键设备,为提高换热器长周期运行效率,对螺纹锁紧环式传统换热器与缠绕管式换热器进行了比对研究,发现缠绕管式换热器运行稳定、管程与壳程之间产生内漏的可能性极小,是一种换热效率较高的换热设备。在某公司600 kt/a润滑油加氢异构脱蜡装置改造中,通过换热参数计算,用1台缠绕管式换热器代替了3台螺纹锁紧环式换热器,运行结果表明:热端温差下降了20℃、节省燃料气0.08t/h,总压降减小了200kPa,压缩机耗电功率减小了18kw/h。改造后3年运行期间没有出现质量缺陷,可以在同类装置中推广使用。 展开更多

The oxidation stability of lubricating oil has a critical influence on the oil performance during service. In this paper, dibenzyl-S-phenyl thioglyconitrile and other derivatives were prepared by phase transfer catalysts and investigated as antioxidants. These compounds were added to oil in different concentrations. The antioxidants activities of different dosages were evaluated and the mechanism was suggested according to micelle and its thermodynamics. The oxidation of the oil has been carried out at different time intervals. The degradation of the oil has been monitored by total acid formation. Oxidation stability of lube oil was largely affected by sulphur and concentration of aromatic hydrocarbons in oil, with the increased sulphur content increasing oxidation stability. The prepared compounds gave higher oxidation stability than imported compound (IRCANOX L 135-CIBA). 展开更多

Evaluation of Additives as Corrosion Inhibitors/Antioxidants for High Quality Nano Emulsifiable Oils of Metalworking Fluids

Surfactants used for formulation metal working fluids. In the present paper, the inhibitive effect of synthesized anionic surfactant P-decyloxy p-sodium sulphonateazobenzene with chemical structure H21C10O-Ph-N=N-Ph-SO3Na and 1-ethyl-1-dodecyl-2-sulphonate-4-(hydroxyl ethyl)-piprazine on the corrosion of carbon steel in sulphuric acid solution is measured by the weight loss method. The relationships between the concentrations of these inhibitors and their surface properties, thermodynamic properties, surface coverage and inhibiting efficiency, have been investigated. The results indicate that P-decyloxy p-sodium sulphonate azobenzene is superior to 1-ethyl-1-dodecyl-2-sulphonate-4-(hydroxyl ethyl)-piprazine at high acid concentration. These inhibitors blend with coupling agent to produce water miscible cutting fluid. Values of surface tension of these additives were measured in water phase and consequently CMC was determined for all inhibitors. The efficiency of these inhibitors depends on their chemical structure and the presence of hydrophilic group to association of the surfactant with metal surface, hence very good wetting properties. The anti-corrosion characteristic of surfactants increases with increasing polar linkages in the aromatic moieties forming chelated and coordinated layer. This is due to the increase in number of sites to chemisorption on the metal surface. These studies have led to much clear evidence of the intimate relationship between the chemical structure of the surfactants and their efficiency. More confirmation for suggested mechanism was investigated by measuring the area occupied per molecule of the surfactant at aqueous phase. The results indicate that the amphoteric surfactant more efficient than anionic surfactant. The antioxidants activities of different dosages of inhibitors were evaluated and suggested mechanism according to their thermodynamics parameters. The oxidation of the oil has been carried for different time intervals. The degradation of the oil has been monitored by total acid formation. 展开更多

农用柴油机活塞环组机油消耗和窜气的灰色关联分析与预测

活塞环组的润滑和密封性能直接影响柴油机的动力性、经济性和排放特性,机油消耗量(lube oil consumption,LOC)和窜气量(crankcase blow-by,CB)是评估活塞环组润滑和密封性能优劣的主要指标。为探究影响农用柴油机活塞环组LOC和CB的影响... 活塞环组的润滑和密封性能直接影响柴油机的动力性、经济性和排放特性,机油消耗量(lube oil consumption,LOC)和窜气量(crankcase blow-by,CB)是评估活塞环组润滑和密封性能优劣的主要指标。为探究影响农用柴油机活塞环组LOC和CB的影响因素及LOC和CB对影响因素的敏感程度,该研究提出农用柴油机活塞环组LOC和CB的多影响因素系统分析及预测方法。以YNF40农用柴油机为对象,首先搭建柴油机LOC和CB测试台架,建立活塞环组运动学与动力学仿真模型并验证模型的精确度和可靠度,然后采用灰色关联分析(grey relation analysis,GRA)得到不同影响因素的灰色关联度(grey relational grade,GRG),并基于此进行影响因素敏感性分析,最后基于BP神经网络建立不同转速工况下LOC和CB瞬态变化的时间序列预测模型。多因素GRG分析结果表明:对活塞环组LOC和CB影响最敏感和最不敏感的因素分别是活塞第一环槽下边缘倒角和活塞第三环槽背隙,其对应的GRG分别为0.89279和0.58361,得到目标与影响因素敏感程度的降序排列为:第一环槽下边缘倒角、顶环开口间隙、第一环槽下侧环岸间隙、第二环槽侧隙、第二环槽下边缘倒角、第二环开口间隙、第三环槽上边缘倒角、油环开口间隙、第二环槽上边缘倒角、第一环槽背隙、顶环切向弹力、第三环槽上侧环岸间隙、顶环环槽下侧轮廓倾角、第二环槽下侧环岸间隙、第一环槽上侧环岸间隙、配缸间隙、第三环槽侧隙、第一环槽上边缘倒角、顶环环槽上侧轮廓倾角、第一环槽侧隙、第二环槽上侧环岸间隙、第三环槽下边缘倒角、第二环槽背隙、第三环槽下侧环岸间隙、顶环上端缩减量、第三环槽背隙。LOC和CB随活塞第一环槽下边缘倒角和活塞第三环槽背隙变化的平均标准差分别为2.81、3.90和0.003、0.209。各影响因素与LOC和CB的GRG越大,LOC和CB随影响因素变化的平均标准差越大,对影响因素越敏感。BP神经网络时间序列预测结果表明:预测值与真实值的变化趋势较一致且都分布在95%置信带以内,模型具有较高的预测精度。研究结果可为农用柴油机提高热效率、减少和控制碳排放提供有效指导。 展开更多

中海油气(泰州)石化有限公司(简称泰州石化)以中国南海原油的减压馏分油为原料,利用现有润滑油基础油生产装置,采用全加氢工艺,通过调整原料油性质、优化工艺参数,生产出两种黏度级别的高品质APIⅢ类润滑油基础油TZ-HVI 6和TZ-HVI 4。... 中海油气(泰州)石化有限公司(简称泰州石化)以中国南海原油的减压馏分油为原料,利用现有润滑油基础油生产装置,采用全加氢工艺,通过调整原料油性质、优化工艺参数,生产出两种黏度级别的高品质APIⅢ类润滑油基础油TZ-HVI 6和TZ-HVI 4。产品性质分析结果表明:所产APIⅢ类润滑油基础油的黏度指数高、饱和烃含量高、硫含量低、倾点低、低温动力黏度优,相关性质参数与同类进口主流产品相近,部分性能指标甚至优于SK公司生产的YUBASE系列Ⅲ类润滑油基础油。进而,以泰州石化所产APIⅢ类润滑油基础油TZ-HVI 6和TZ-HVI 4为原料生产出SP 5W-30规格的汽油机油,其抗泡性、硫含量、磷含量、高温高剪切黏度、蒸发损失、硫酸盐灰分等关键理化性能满足ACEA C3标准。 展开更多
