The experimental results indicate that the Inconel 625 alloy exhibits an excellent creep resistance at 700 ℃ and below. When the creep temperature rises to 750 ℃, the creep resistance falls drastically due to the failure of phase transformation strengthening and the precipitation of a large amount of δ phase and σ phase at the grain boundary. The special temperature-sensitive characteristics of Inconel 625 alloy play a very important role in its fracture. When the strain rate is 8.33×10^-3s^-1, the strength of the specimen is higher than that of other parameters attributed to the effect of phase transformation strengthening. With the increase of Ni3(Al, Ti), the phase transformation strengthening inhibits thickening of the stacking faults into twins and improves the overall mechanical properties of the alloy. With the increase of the aging time, the granular Cr-rich M23C6 carbides continue to precipitate at the grain boundary, which hinders the movement of the dislocations and obviously increases the strength of the samples. Especially, the yield strength increases several times.展开更多

The effect of Nb addition on the transformation kinetics during deformation of undercooled austenite was investigated. It was found that as compared with Nb-free steel, the transformation incubation period of Nb-bearing steel was prolonged and the transformation kinetics curves parallelly moved to higher strain because of the solute Nb drag effect. Studies on kinetics also showed that the deformation-enhanced ferrite transformation (DEFT) of the two steels were composed of three stages, which can be expressed by the J-M-A equations individually. However, the parameter n related to the mode of nucleation and growth is somewhat different in the first and second stages of the two steels, and the same in the third stage for both the steels corresponding to the nucleation Of retained austenite.展开更多

Möbius transformations, which are one-to-one mappings of onto have remarkable geometric properties susceptible to be visualized by drawing pictures. Not the same thing can be said about m-Möbius tran...Möbius transformations, which are one-to-one mappings of onto have remarkable geometric properties susceptible to be visualized by drawing pictures. Not the same thing can be said about m-Möbius transformations f<sub>m</sub> mapping onto . Even for the simplest entity, the pre-image by f<sub>m</sub> of a unique point, there is no way of visualization. Pre-images by f<sub>m</sub> of figures from C are like ghost figures in C<sup>m</sup>. This paper is about handling those ghost figures. We succeeded in doing it and proving theorems about them by using their projections onto the coordinate planes. The most important achievement is the proof in that context of a theorem similar to the symmetry principle for Möbius transformations. It is like saying that the images by m-Möbius transformations of symmetric ghost points with respect to ghost circles are symmetric points with respect to the image circles. Vectors in C<sup>m </sup>are well known and vector calculus in C<sup>m</sup> is familiar, yet the pre-image by f<sub>m</sub> of a vector from C is a different entity which materializes by projections into vectors in the coordinate planes. In this paper, we study the interface between those entities and the vectors in C<sup>m</sup>. Finally, we have shown that the uniqueness theorem for Möbius transformations and the property of preserving the cross-ratio of four points by those transformations translate into similar theorems for m-Möbius transformations.展开更多

BACKGROUND The emergence of secondary drug resistance when treating epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutated non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)using EGFRtyrosine kinase inhibitors(EGFR-TKIs),seriously affects the ...BACKGROUND The emergence of secondary drug resistance when treating epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutated non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)using EGFRtyrosine kinase inhibitors(EGFR-TKIs),seriously affects the therapeutic efficacy and survival of patients.Here,we report a case of advanced NSCLC focusing on the application of multiple biopsy modalities to reveal the development of multiple resistance mechanisms during targeted therapies.CASE SUMMARY A 54-year-old male patient presented with EGFR 19Del-mutated advanced lung adenocarcinoma,and exhibited the development of a T790M mutation during initial TKI treatment.Following 3 mo of Osimertinib treatment,a mixed response was observed.Tissue biopsy of the progressive lesion showed transformation to small cell lung cancer(SCLC)harboring RB1 and TP53 mutations,with loss of the original T790M mutation.A standard chemotherapy regimen with Anlotinib for SCLC was administered.Repeat biopsy revealed adenocarcinoma combined with SCLC after tumor progression.The patient’s overall survival was 24 mo.CONCLUSION Multiple biopsy modalities can reveal the development of multiple resistance mechanisms which help with treatment decision-making.Comprehensive treatment regimens according to the drug resistance mechanism significantly improved the prognosis of such patients.展开更多
It is known that any m-Möbius transformation is an ordinary Möbius transformation in every one of its variables when the other variables do not take the values a and 1/a, where a is a parameter defin...It is known that any m-Möbius transformation is an ordinary Möbius transformation in every one of its variables when the other variables do not take the values a and 1/a, where a is a parameter defining the respective m-Möbius transformation. For ordinary Möbius transformations having distinct fixed points, the multiplier associated with one of these points completely characterizes the nature of that transformation, i.e. it tells us if it is elliptic, hyperbolic or loxodromic. The purpose of this paper is to show that fixed points exist also for m-Möbius transformations and multipliers associated with them can be computed as well. As in the classical case, the values of those multipliers describe completely the nature of the transformations. The method we used was that of a thorough study of the coefficients of the variables involved, with which occasion we discovered surprising symmetries. These were the results allowing us to prove the main theorem regarding the fixed points of a m-Möbius transformation, which is the key to further developments. Finally we were able to illustrate the geometric aspects of these transformations, making the whole theory as intuitive as possible. It was as opening a window into a space of several complex variables. This allows us to prove that if a bi-Möbius transformation is elliptic or hyperbolic in z<sub>1</sub> at a point z<sub>2</sub> it will remain the same on a circle or line passing through z<sub>2</sub>. This property remains true when we switch z<sub>1</sub> and z<sub>2</sub>. The main theorem, dealing with the fixed points of an arbitrary m-Möbius transformation made possible the extension of this result to these transformations.展开更多
AIMTo expose rat retinal Müller cells to 530 nm monochromatic light and investigate the influence of varying light illumination times on basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and transforming growth factor...AIMTo expose rat retinal Müller cells to 530 nm monochromatic light and investigate the influence of varying light illumination times on basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) expression.METHODSThree groups of rat retinal Müller cells cultured in vitro under a 530 nm monochromatic light were divided into 6, 12 and 24h experimental groups, while cells incubated under dark conditions served as the control group. The bFGF and TGF-β1 mRNA expression, protein levels and fluorescence intensity of the Müller cells were analyzed.RESULTSThe bFGF mRNA expression and protein levels were significantly upregulated in Müller cells in all three experimental groups compared with the control group (P<0.05), while that of TGF-β1 was downregulated (P<0.05). Also, bFGF expression was positively correlated, but TGF-β1 expression was negatively correlated with illumination time. The largest changes for both cytokines were seen in the 24h group. The changes in bFGF and TGF-β1 fluorescence intensity were highest in the 24h group, and significant differences were observed among the experimental groups (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONThe expressions of bFGF and TGF-β1 changed in a time-dependent manner in Müller cells exposed to 530 nm monochromatic light with 250 lx illumination intensity. Müller cells might play a role in the development of myopia by increasing bFGF expression or decreasing TGF-β1 expression. It reuses the sum of absolute difference of 4x4 block obtained from motion estimation or intra prediction as parameters so that the determination threshold need to be computed only once when quantization parameter (QP) is invariable for given video sequence. This method avoids a lot of computation for transform, quantization, inverse transform, inverse quantization and block reconstruction. Simulation results showed that it can save about 20%~50% computation without any video quality degradation.展开更多

As a fundamental characteristic of an image, texture traits play an important role in the human vision system for recognition and interpretation of images. The paper presents an approach to implement texture-based image retrieval using M-band wavelet transform. Firstly the traditional 2-band wavelet is extended to M-band wavelet transform. Then the wavelet moments are computed by M-band wavelet coefficients in the wavelet domain. The set of wavelet moments forms the feature vector related to the texture distribution of each wavelet images. The distances between the feature vectors describe the similarities of different images. The experimental result shows that the M-band wavelet moment features of the images are effective for image indexing. The retrieval method has lower computational complexity, yet it is capable of giving better retrieval performance for a given medical image database.展开更多
