Game Analysis of Regulation for Online Prescription Drugs under Customer Feedback Mechanism

Objective To study the way to better regulate the online sales of prescription drugs,and to provide reference for the adjustment of relevant policies since the online sales of prescription drugs has become an inevitable trend.Methods A game model was constructed for the strategy choice of pharmaceutical e-commerce platform,customers and government departments based on differential game theory and Nash equilibrium game model to analyze the pure strategy Nash equilibrium,Nash equilibrium dominant strategy of each subject and the mixed strategy Nash equilibrium under different conditions.Besides,Matlab was used to carry out simulation analysis.Results and Conclusion The study shows that:(1)Improving the credibility of the government and reducing the cost of government regulation can not only make the pharmaceutical e-commerce platform operate with high quality,but also give greater play to government functions;(2)The greater the influence of social evaluation on pharmaceutical e-commerce platforms,the lower the cost of high-quality operation of pharmaceutical e-commerce platform,and the greater the probability of customer choosing real evaluation strategy;(3)The greater the customers’perception of potential risk,the greater the compensation,and the lower the cost of reporting.Then,the greater the probability that government departments will choose strict regulation.Finally,the model solution and simulation analysis are combined to provide countermeasures and suggestions for the safety regulation of online sales of prescription drugs. 展开更多

As part of the drive to improve coffee and cocoa production in Ivory Coast, studies are carried out to identify soils that are favourable for these crops. It is therefore necessary to orientate soil investigations based on reliable criteria that best discriminate soil cover. With this in mind, this study is being carried out to help improve survey methods by mapping soil landscapes. It uses GIS and weighted multicriteria analysis. To do this, satellite images were processed and the geological map of the square degrees of M’Bahiakro and Daloa was reclassified. The results show that relief is the main factor in soil landscape differentiation, with respective weights of 0.58 and 0.67 for the forest and pre-forest zones. In contrast, the weight of geological formation in soil landscape differentiation remains low (0.05 for the forest zone and 0.07 for the pre-forest zone). The criteria used on the base of aggregation sum methods have made it possible to formulate soil landscape mapping prediction functions according to agro-ecological environments in the humid intertropical zone. This is essential for the orientation of soil survey work. Nevertheless, other comparative methods, such as the coding mapping method, could provide elements for discussion to validate the models. 展开更多

The present study, carried out in the forest (Daloa) and pre-forest (M’Bahiakro) zones of Cote d’Ivoire, aims to determine soil landscape units using the coding method. Geological maps and satellite images (SRTM and Landsat) were used for this purpose. The methodological approach adopted consisted in producing maps of slope, geology, land use and topography using the codification method. These various maps, integrated into a GIS using the coding aggregation method, were used to generate soil landscape maps. Twenty-seven (27) soil landscapes have been identified for the pre-forest zone (M’Bahiakro), with a strong dominance of acid rock over a moderate relief under savannah, forest/degraded forest and crops/fallow. However, the forest zone (Daloa), with forty-one (41) soil landscapes identified over the entire zone, is characterized by a majority of mafic rocks on a medium altitude under forest/degraded forest, water and crops/fallow. The criteria used from the codification method (sum of aggregations) made it possible to predict the spatial distribution of soil map units according to agro-ecological environments in the humid intertropical zone. This is essential for the orientation and reinforcement of soil survey tools. However, a comparative evaluation of the different multicriteria analysis methods for coding and weighting soil landscape unit mapping would enable us to identify the most suitable and efficient method for drawing up base maps for soil surveys. 展开更多

The recent development of channel technology has promised to reduce the transaction verification time in blockchain operations.When transactions are transmitted through the channels created by nodes,the nodes need to cooperate with each other.If one party refuses to do so,the channel is unstable.A stable channel is thus required.Because nodes may show uncooperative behavior,they may have a negative impact on the stability of such channels.In order to address this issue,this work proposes a dynamic evolutionary game model based on node behavior.This model considers various defense strategies'cost and attack success ratio under them.Nodes can dynamically adjust their strategies according to the behavior of attackers to achieve their effective defense.The equilibrium stability of the proposed model can be achieved.The proposed model can be applied to general channel networks.It is compared with two state-of-the-art blockchain channels:Lightning network and Spirit channels.The experimental results show that the proposed model can be used to improve a channel's stability and keep it in a good cooperative stable state.Thus its use enables a blockchain to enjoy higher transaction success ratio and lower transaction transmission delay than the use of its two peers. 展开更多

In this regard,the paper studies the phenomenon through game theory model that deals with the relationship between mooncake makers,as for their efforts in balancing the number of coupons issued and the amount of mooncakes actually produced,and scalpers,as for the repurchase discount they enjoy, to finally bring a win-win situation. For mooncake makers to print more coupons than their actual production capacities while keeping the risks under control,a prior agreement should be made with the scalpers to set certain rules,among which the variable k is particularly important. 展开更多

Bioinformatic methods become important for studying the biological function of proteins. In this paper, we first give the chaos game representation (CGR) of randomly-linked functional protein sequences, then propose the use of the recurrent iterated function systems (RIFS) in fractal theory to simulate the measure based on their chaos game representations. This method helps to extract some features of functional protein sequences, and furthermore the biological functions of these proteins. Then multifractal analysis of the measures based on the CGRs of randomly-linked functional protein sequences are performed. We find that the CGRs have clear fractal patterns. The numerical results show that the RIFS can simulate the measure based on the CGR very well. The relative standard error and the estimated probability matrix in the RIFS do not depend on the order to link the functional protein sequences. The estimated probability matrices in the RIFS with different biological functions are evidently different. Hence the estimated probability matrices in the RIFS can be used to characterise the difference among linked functional protein sequences with different biological functions. From the values of the Dq curves, one sees that these functional protein sequences are not completely random. The Dq of all linked functional proteins studied are multifractal-like and sufficiently smooth for the Cq (analogous to specific heat) curves to be meaningful. Furthermore, the Dq curves of the measure μ based on their CCRs for different orders to link the functional protein sequences are almost identical if q 〉 0. Finally, the Ca curves of all linked functional proteins resemble a classical phase transition at a critical point. 展开更多

Supply Chain Management(SCM) is the term used to de sc ribe the management of the flow of materials, information and funds across the e ntire supply chain, from suppliers to component producers to final assemblers to distribution(warehouses and retailers) and ultimately to the consumers.This pap er studies the coordinated problem for a manufacturing and retailing supply chai n. Differentiating from traditional joint optimization in the literature, the ap proach applies game theory structure as the researching framework to address the problem of coordinating the pricing decisions of the manufacturer and retailer. Three co-op pricing models are developed and discussed which are based on two noncooperative games and one cooperative game. They are a Stakelberg’s two-sta ge game model, a simultaneously move game model and an cooperative game model, r espectively. The results obtained by the sufficient comparisons and discusses te ll us that the noncooperative equilibriums are lower efficiently than joint coop erative equilibrium. In order to get the efficient cooperative mechanism, we int roduce the Pareto efficiency concept and obtain so-called feasible Pareto effic ient set of pricing schemes (contract curve). The cooperative mechanism based on the curve would be solid and stable. These and orther related managerial issues are explored in this paper. 展开更多

A Network Analysis of Skill Game Dynamics

Casino games can be classified in two main categories, i.e. skill games and gambling. Notably, the former refers to games whose outcome is affected by the strategies of players, the latter to those games whose outcome is completely random. For instance, lotteries are easily recognized as pure gambling, while some variants of Poker (e.g. Texas Hold’em) are usually considered as skill games. In both cases, the theory of probability constitutes the mathematical framework for studying their dynamics, despite their classification. Here, it is worth to consider that when games entail the competition between many players, the structure of interactions can acquire a relevant role. For instance, some games as Bingo are not characterized by this kind of interactions, while other games as Poker, show a network structure, i.e. players interact each other and have the opportunity to share or exchange information. In this paper, we analyze the dynamics of a population composed of two species, i.e. strong and weak agents. The former represents expert players, while the latter beginners, i.e. non-expert ones. Here, pair-wise interactions are based on a very simple game, whose outcome is affected by the nature of the involved agents. In doing so, expert agents have a higher probability to succeed when playing with weak agents, while the success probability is equal when two agents of the same kind face each other. Numerical simulations are performed considering a population arranged in different topologies like regular graphs and in scale-free networks. This choice allows to model dynamics that we might observe on online game platforms. Further aspects as the adaptability of agents are taken into account, e.g. the possibility to improve (i.e. to becomean expert). Results show that complex topologies represent a strong opportunity for experts and a risk for both kinds of agents. 展开更多

Based on the quantitative analysis on three correspond- ing game models with four players including local residents, enterprises, local governments and competent authorities at higher levels, this paper demonstrates four main shortcomings of current administrative mechanism of Huaihe River anti-pollution system, including low emission cost, low connivance cost, overemphasis on heavy fine of the enterprises, neglect of the punishment on the local departments and intersected administrative mechanism. This paper sets up anti- pollution administrative mechanism, combining economic method with noneconomic method, government control with market mechanism, and introducing public participation. At last, this paper proposes policies, such as implementing emissions trading system, reforming public participation system, and reforming government’s environmental protection mechanism to promote law enforcement. 展开更多

Wuthering Heights was an extraordinary novel in the nineteenth century,for it is very different from other contemporary novels which are reconciled with the public opinion by presenting Victorian values and tastes.It depicts a story of strong love and extreme hatred.This paper used the game theory to analyse the behaviors of Heathcliff in the Wuthering Heights.Some basic strategies and game models were used to illustrate the choices of the characters.This paper can be divided into four parts.The introduction is to introduce the novel,the description of the research approach and the definition of basic theories.It emphasizes on the introduction of basic strategies and some game models which would be used for the later analysis.The second part is to discuss the formation of Heathcliff's dual personality and analyses its causes.Heathcliff was very cruel in his revenge,but he also has a tender side in love,that is the manifestation of his dual personality.The formation of his dual personality dates back to his childhood suffering,the abnormal family environment,the pressure from long labor and finally his only love—Catherine's betrayal.The third part focuses on discussing how his dual personality affects Heathcliff's choices in the game plays with others.His tender personality affected Heathcliff's choice when facing Catherine's betrayal.He could not choose a grim strategy to totally break up with her,but choose a Tit for Tat and to combine with her after a revenge.His cruel personality made him harm other people indifferently which hide the foreshadowing for his death.The conclusion summarizes the arguments of this paper.This paper analyses from the formation of Heathcliff's dual personality,and then analyzes how his dual personality affected his choices in the game plays with others. 展开更多

As the game result, the mixed equilibrium of Q and U exists naturally without FRS. It is concluded that FRS on market admittance is objective demand of financial market, also the rational management behavior of government FRSI. And in addition to the empirical criteria, the FRS agreements between FRSI and financial-institutions should be considered as one of advanced FRS techniques. These must cover:① the regulation conformed status investigation with sufficient frequency,② corresponding punitive measures with sufficient strength. Thus the information can be delivered FRSI have ensured only qualified and regulation-conformed financial-institutions could be allowed to enter. In accordance with the internal relations between stakeholders in grain production and the development of animal husbandry, we focus on researching the interests-sharing game behavior of the government and planting subject collectives, the planting subject collectives and planting subject individuals, the breeding subject and planting subject. The results show that there is inequality between various stakeholders, and they seek not only the price-based benefit, but also some intangible interests difficult to calculate and quantify. 展开更多
