Major fires and floods have enormous impacts on natural ecosystems and are predicted to increase in frequency with global warming.Land managers need to make decisions on the prioritisation of weeds for control in post-disturbance landscapes, but little is available in the way of guidance to support timely decision making.Semi-quantitative models(e.g.,scoring systems)have been employed routinely in weed risk assessment, which considers the potential impacts posed by weeds,as well as the likelihood of these impacts being realised. Some progress has been made in the development of similar models addressing the topic of weed risk management.Under conditions prevailing after major disturbances, changes(both positive and negative)can be expected in the multiple factors that determine weed management feasibility, relative to pre-disturbance conditions.A semi-quantitative model is proposed that is based on the key factors that contribute to weed management feasibility in post-disturbance environments, along with annotated modules that could be used by land managers in both post-fire and post-flood situations. The fundamental challenge for weed management in these scenarios lies in the identification of differences between weeds and native species in relation to(1)patterns of seedling emergence;and(2)detectability relative to the growth stage. These two factors will determine the timing of control actions that are designed to address the trade-off between weed control and off-target damage during the period when both types of plants are recovering from a major disturbance event. The model is intuitively sound, but field testing is required to determine both its practical value and any necessary improvement. 展开更多

Objective:To determine the impact of adjunctive Buchang Naoxintong Capsule(步心脑心通胶囊,NXT) on dual antiplatelet therapy in patients with cytochrome P450 2C19*2(CYP2C19*2) polymorphism undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:Ninety patients with CYP2C19*2 polymorphism were enrolled, and their genotypes were confirmed by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).The patients were randomly assigned to receive either adjunctive NXT(triple group,45 cases) or dual antiplatelet therapy(dual group,45 cases) using a computer-generated randomization sequence and sealed envelopes.Platelet function was assessed at baseline and 7 days after treatment with conventional aggregometry.Subsequent major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE,including sudden cardiac arrest and acute coronary syndrome) were recorded during a 12-month followup. Results:Baseline platelet function measurements were similar in both groups. After 7 days, percent inhibitions of maximum platelet aggregation and late platelet aggregation were significantly greater in the triple versus dual group(42.3%±16.0%vs.20.8%±15.2%,P〈0.01,and 54.7%±18.3%vs.21.5%±29.2%,P〈0.01,respectively).During the 12-month follow-up,the rate of subsequent MACE(6/45) was significantly lower in the triple group compared with the dual group(14/45;P〈0.05).Conclusion:Adjunctive NXT to maintenance dose clopidogrel(75 g) could enhance the antiplatelet effect and decrease subsequent MACE in patients with the CYP2C19'2polymorphism undergoing PCI. 展开更多

Safety is essential when building a strong transportation system. As a key development direction in the global railway system, the intelligent railway has safety at its core, making safety a top priority while pursuing the goals of efficiency, convenience, economy, and environmental friendliness. This paper describes the state of the art and proposes a system architecture for intelligent railway systems. It also focuses on the development of railway safety technology at home and abroad, and proposes the active safety method and technology system based on advanced theoretical methods such as the in-depth integration of cyber–physical systems(CPS),data-driven models, and intelligent computing. Finally, several typical applications are demonstrated to verify the advancement and feasibility of active safety technology in intelligent railway systems. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Zhenjingdingzhi decoction in treating insomnia with Qi-deficiency of heart and gallbladder.METHODS: We conducted a double-blind,randomized,controlled trial involving 100 patients with insomnia of Qi-deficiency of heart and gallbladder.Patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(n = 50) and the control group(n = 50) according to a random number table. The treatment group was given Zhenjingdingzhi decoction, while the control group was treated with Suanzaoren decoction. the pharmacological treatment lasted for 8weeks. The clinical efficacy was assessed by using Spiegel scale,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) syndrome scores.RESULTS: Comparing Spiegel scores between the two groups at 4 and 8 weeks, the differences in curative effect between the two groups were both significant(both P < 0.05). The total effective rate was46% in the treatment group and 27.7% in the control group at 4 weeks, and 80% and 53.2% at 8weeks,respectively; After 8 weeks,PSQI scores showed that the total effective rates differed significantly between the two groups(P < 0.01): 84% in the treatment group and 59.6% in the control group; In improving sleep quality and sleep duration, the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).TCM syndrome, especially insomnia and palpitation, was improved better in the treatment group after 8 weeks as compared to that in the control group(P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the two groups was 84% and 66%,respectively.CONCLUSION: Zhenjingdingzhi decoction is effective and safe for the treatment of insomnia with Qi-deficiency of heart and gallbladder, especially for improving sleep quality and sleep duration. 展开更多
