At present, there are still some problems, such as insufficient integration between universities and local industry and education, urgent need to optimize the collaborative education system, limited quality of "mass enterpreneurship and innovation" education subjects, insufficient joint efforts of relevant policies, lack of rural revitalization subjects, and imperfect rural infrastructure and public service system. In view of the above difficulties and the practical efficiency analysis of "mass enterpreneurship and innovation" education in Hubei University of Science and Technology, this paper puts forward the strategies for "mass enterpreneurship and innovation" education in local universities to promote rural revitalization from the perspective of integration between industry and education: colleges and universities should deepen the reform of the education system of integration between industry and education, and cultivate "mass enterpreneurship and innovation" talents for rural revitalization;the government and society should strengthen the construction of rural service support system and optimize the "mass enterpreneurship and innovation" environment for rural revitalization. 展开更多

Access to higher education in China has opened up significantly in the move towards a mass higher education system. However, aggregate growth does not necessarily imply fair or reasonable distribution of opportunity. In fact, the expansion of higher education has a rather more complex influence on opportunity when admissions statistics are viewed by geographical region, rural and urban environment, social class, type of school, gender, and ethnicity.Since 1999,gaps in access opportunities have generally diminished, especially in terms of the urban-rural dimension.Efforts to increase university admission rates for women and minorities have resulted in significant progress. However, the gap in university admission between different social classes has been closing more slowly.Children from more advantaged backgrounds have more chances to study at key universities, and differences in access between provinces are still considerable.Social class polarization in secondary school is still a serious issue.Such problems at high school level directly lead to the accumulation and continuation of a gap in opportunities to access higher education. While agreeing that the aggregate growth of higher education provision in China is a positive development,we also strive to improve equality of opportunity. 展开更多

In the first half of the 20th century, during China's rapid transition from tradition to modernity, three major historical events occurred successively in Ding County, Hebei Province. These events illustrate the gradual broadening of the horizons of some rural women: shifting from the Confucian expectation that "women's rightful place is in the home" to a gradual extension into the public domain. The Zhaicheng village system took the first small step in breaking the Confucian gender norms by promoting female education in public spaces, yet it did not truly challenge the fundamental gender order of males outside the home and females within it. The Mass Education Movement saw the emergence of the first group of professional women in rural Ding County. However, they faced social exclusion as a consequence of entering the public domain. The Zhaicheng system and the gender-based teaching practices during the Mass Education Movement sowed the seeds of the impending tension and conflict experienced by women juggling dual roles within and outside the family. Amidst the bloodshed of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation(wars of Resistance and Liberation), female warriors, through sacrifice and devotion, ventured into the newly expanded public sphere of war, yet traditional gender norms continued to confine their broadened horizons to a transient phase in their lives. A collective examination of these three major occurrences shows that the gradual broadening of horizons for rural women in Ding County during the first half of the 20th century was inherent in the developmental trajectory of the village, embodying the idea that the modern nation was gradually emerging within the village in the concept of "nation from village." 展开更多
