Tunnel water inrush is one of the common geological disasters in the underground engineering construction.In order to effectively evaluate and control the occurrence of water inrush,the risk assessment model of tunnel...Tunnel water inrush is one of the common geological disasters in the underground engineering construction.In order to effectively evaluate and control the occurrence of water inrush,the risk assessment model of tunnel water inrush was proposed based on improved attribute mathematical theory.The trigonometric functions were adopted to optimize the attribute mathematical theory,avoiding the influence of mutation points and linear variation zones in traditional linear measurement functions on the accuracy of the model.Based on comprehensive analysis of various factors,five parameters were selected as the evaluation indicators for the model,including tunnel head pressure,permeability coefficient of surrounding rock,crushing degree of surrounding rock,relative angle of joint plane and tunnel section size,under the principle of dimension rationality,independence,directness and quantification.The indicator classifications were determined.The links among measured data were analyzed in detail,and the objective weight of each indicator was determined by using similar weight method.Thereby the tunnel water inrush risk assessment model is established and applied in four target segments of two different tunnels in engineering.The evaluation results and the actual excavation data agree well,which indicates that the model is of high credibility and feasibility.展开更多

Given the global lack of effective analysis methods for the impact of design parameter tolerance on performance deviation in the vehicle proof-of-concept stage,it is difficult to decompose performance tolerance to des...Given the global lack of effective analysis methods for the impact of design parameter tolerance on performance deviation in the vehicle proof-of-concept stage,it is difficult to decompose performance tolerance to design parameter tolerance.This study proposes a set of consistency analysis methods for vehicle steering performance.The process of consistency analysis and control of automotive performance in the conceptual design phase is proposed for the first time.A vehicle dynamics model is constructed,and the multi-objective optimization software Isight is used to optimize the steering performance of the car.Sensitivity analysis is used to optimize the design performance value.The tolerance interval of the performance is obtained by comparing the original car performance value with the optimized value.With the help of layer-by-layer decomposition theory and interval mathematics,automotive performance tolerance has been decomposed into design parameter tolerance.Through simulation and real vehicle experiments,the validity of the consistency analysis and control method presented in this paper are verified.The decomposition from parameter tolerance to performance tolerance can be achieved at the conceptual design stage.展开更多
To address the inadequacies of traditional pipe-roof methods,the steel support cutting pipe method(SSCP)—a novel pipe-roof method that improves construction security and underground space usage—is proposed.To furthe...To address the inadequacies of traditional pipe-roof methods,the steel support cutting pipe method(SSCP)—a novel pipe-roof method that improves construction security and underground space usage—is proposed.To further explore the applications of SSCP,its design scheme ought to be optimized.The failure mode and mechanical behaviors of the SSCP were investigated through laboratory experiments.Subsequently,a series of finite element models(FEMs)was established to study the deformation characteristics.Further,the parameters of the steel support of the proposed structure were optimized using fuzzy mathematics.The results indicated the ultimate bearing capacity to be 366.8 kN,and the specimen began to yield when the external load reached 70%of the ultimate value.The lon-gitudinal spacing of the steel supports,transverse steel support size,and vertical steel support size had significant effect on the vertical deformation of the steel support and the ground settlement.Finally,the optimal combination of steel supports for the SSCP structure was obtained.展开更多
