Poetic Wisdom, Mind and Senses, Media. How to Deal With Phenomenon of Crisis of Humanities？

The today culture seems to be tom by two contradicted phenomena. First is connected with crisis of humanities, second with stepping of arts into the new spheres. Based on the thought of Marshall McLuhan, Giambatistta Vico and Rudolf Arnheim we will display that this contradiction is only apparent. After Marshall McLuhan we acknowledge the power of media to change the pattems of cognition and after RudolfArnheim we acknowledge the intimate relation between senses and mind. On such foundation we will see that crisis of humanities is connected with incorrect understanding relation between mind and senses. As Rudolf Arnheim remarks strict division between senses and mind favors downgrading social role of art and humanities--such division refuses art and humanities right to take a part in cognition. But in the age of electronic/digital culture, which is recovering the simultaneous of the verbi-voco-visual communication, new proportion between our senses is appearing. It must entail new approach to art and humanities.

Media Theory:The Turn from Humanism to Anti-Humanism

This article traces the shift in media theory from humanism to antihumanism,or from extensionism to assemblage theory and machinism.The suggestion is that the anti-humanistic orientation illuminates the human condition even better,especially in the post-industrial and digital ages when Kafkaesque absurdity characterizes human life.The article also points,if only in passing,to the relevance of interology to media-theoretic inquiry.

The Oral Language as the Primary Medium Among Men

Nowadays, language has gained great importance due to mass media which allows men to interact with other people anytime and anywhere. Some issues arise： Do media change the way we communicate？ Are there any means in particular that can help people to communicate better？ This paper finds the route for individuals to communicate better, understand each other, and promote values of both our society and culture demand. Three main issues are presented to reach this goal： Firstly, the platonic theory about names, if things are called by convention or by its nature. Secondly, three methods by which these names are used： the grammar, the rhetoric, and the dialectics. Lastly, how orality is a fundamental means for human communication. Each of these subjects will become arguments to support that dialogue is the most suitable and human way for men to communicate, because it gives the necessary tools to man to build himself according to his nature, that is to say, the search for the good and the rational perfection.

Inverter System:A Solution to Improve the Efficiency of New Energy Generation in Factories

The report mainly analyzes whether the inverter system could improve the efficiency of converting new energy into factory electricity based on McLuhan’s laws of media theory.Firstly,the report asserts the significance of using new energy and the importance of utilizing the inverter system to improve the power conversion of new energy in factories.Secondly,it mainly describes McLuhan’s theory from four different aspects.In addition,according to the four aspects of McLuhan’s theory,the rationality and feasibility of the inverter system solution are analyzed.Then,it is concluded that the inverter system can well improve the conversion efficiency of new energy generation in factories.Finally,this paper claims suggestions from two different perspectives to promote the development of the inverter system..
