A new method is developed based on hydrostatic suspension principle in order to determine the two coefficients with high measurement accuracy. Two silicon single crystal samples with known density are immersed into a sealed vessel full of DSL-2329. The density of liquid is adjusted with varying liquid temperature and static pressure, so that the hydrostatic suspension of two silicon single crystal samples is achieved. The compression and thermal expansion coefficients are then calculated by using the data of temperature and static pressure at the suspension state. One silicon single crystal sample can be suspended at different state, as long as the liquid temperature and static pressure function linearly according to a certain mathematical relationship. A hydrostatic suspension experimental system is devised with the maximal temperature control error ±50 μK; Silicon single crystal samples can be suspended by adapting the pressure following the PID method. By using the method based on hydrostatic suspension principle, the two key coefficients can be measured at the same time, and measurement precision can be improved due to avoiding the influence of liquid surface tension. This method was further validated experimentally, where the mixture of 1, 2, 3-tribromopropane and 1,2-dibromoethane is used as DSL-2329. The compressibility and thermal expansion coefficients were measured, as 8.5′10–4 K–1 and 5.4′10–10 Pa–1, respectively.展开更多

High tenacity, high module fiber is prepared by melt spinning in liquid crystal phase. The effect of molecular weight, shear rate, temperature as well as spinning drawn ratio on the mechanical behavior of 60PHB / PET copolyester fiber are shown that, lower shear rate (2 10 s-1), higher temperature melting (300℃ ), lower temperature spinning (280℃ ) and higher molecular weight are favourable to the increase of the fiber mechanical properties. With the variance of drawn ratio, fiber mechanical property has a transition point due to traversion from shear-orientation to drawn-orientation. The copolyester fiber has high crystallinity, high orientation at the crystalline region, high chain orientation and high regular fibrillar structure.展开更多

Using Gaussian09/B3 PW91/6-311 G(2d, p) density functional methods, the microstructure of the MILs were analyzed. With differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), the thermal properties of the MILs were performed. The results showed that the interaction energies of ion pairs decreased, the crystallization temperature increased first and then decreased, and the surfusion first decreased and then increased with the elongation of the alkyl chain length on cation;with the increase of Br atom, the interaction energies of ion pairs increased;the interaction energies of ion pairs increased in the MILs with the same cation or anion, the nature of polarity of MILs increased and the melting point rose;as the cation or anion in MILs had a smaller size, it could have the solidsolid transition temperature. The results indicated that the decomposition temperature with the same type of MILs increased with the interaction energies of ion pairs. The interaction energy of ion pairs can be used to illuminate the correlation between the thermal properties and the structure of MILs. ILs possesses the properties of macromolecular.展开更多

The asymptotic solution of the evolution of the interface of the spherical crystal growth is obtained by the matched asymptotic expansion method. The analytic result shows that the convective flow in the undercooled melt has a strong effect on the evolution of spherical crystal growth. The convective flow induced by the far field flow makes the interface of the growing spherical crystal enhance its growth velocity in the upstream direction of the far field flow and inhibit growth in the downstream direction, and the interface of the decaying spherical crystal further decay in the upstream direction and inhibit decay in the downstream direction. The maximum growth velocity of the interface of the spherical crystal influenced by the far field flow is obtained.展开更多
