Ideological-political construction in English curriculum is to integrate outlook on the world,outlook on life,outlook on values,etc.into English language teaching and learning.In recent years,studies on ideological-political construction in middle school English curriculum have made some progress,with an emphasis on its significance and the strategies for its realization.However,there is still room for expansion in the research methods,research contents,and research perspectives.

A Brief Study of the Development and Application of ＂Internet＋＂ in Middle School English Teaching

Internet education has appeared with the development of the lnternet. Since ＂lnternet＋＂ has come up with in the 2015 government work report, it has become a hot word. ＂Intemet＋＂ has been applied to traditional education, which has reformed the traditional English teaching in middle school. Nowadays, there are many applications in teaching, such as distance education, smart classroom, and so on. Moreover, with the popularizing of big data, it provides all kinds of information for teachers and students in time, helping teachers in middle school to master the process of study among students. In education, the development of the Internet has gone through a few parts from the lowest applications to the complex applications. The applications in education are gradually accepted by every educator. There is no limit of time and space so that people can study anywhere, any time.

Analyzing the Application of Functional Linguistics in Junior Middle School English Teaching

Coh-Metrix 3.0 English Text Comparison between South Korea and China

Sharing the environment of English as a foreign language （EFL） in South Korea and China, English text in the authorized English textbooks deserves a cross-country comparison in the same grade level. This research explored the English texts linguistic characteristics in the authorized English textbooks through Coh-Melrix 3.0 and intended to provide implications to EFL English textbook design in the future. The results suggest that there is a need to be aware of the weaknesses and strengths from each other： the South Korean English texts display a diversity in noun, verbs, adjectives, the mean number of words before the main verb of the main clause in sentence, TTR and lexical diversity; the Chinese English texts reveal an overlap in lexical level （content words, noun, and sentences） and semantic level （syntactic patterns）.

WHAT DO MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS BRING TO ENGLISH LEARNING?——A QUESTIONNAIRE INVESTIGATION REPORT

This paper reports on an investigation conducted in thePearl River Delta Region of Guangdong Province.Theinvestigation was intended to collect data about middle schoolstudents’motivation for English learning,their views on thedifficulty of learning the language,their learning methods andexpectations for teacher roles.In light of the investigationfindings,four points are summed up.First,there is a seriousloss of junior middle school students’interest in Englishlearning.In other words,the higher the grade,the fewer thestudents interested in learning the language.Second,Englishgrammar is a universal problem for most students.However,they tend to have different difficulties at different learningstages.Third,most junior middle school students are well awareof their own responsibilities for successful learning,but they donot necessarily know how to learn effectively.Finally,juniormiddle school students stress teacher roles not only as instructorbut as helper,and have made great demands on the teacher’steaching methods.
