THE MIXED PROBLEM FOR A CLASS OF NONLINEAR SYMMETRIC HYPERBOLIC SYSTEMS WITH DISCONTINUOUS DATA

This paper studies the nonlinear mixed problem for a class of symmetric hyperbolic systems with the boundary condition satisfying the dissipative condition about discontinuous data in higher dimension spaces, establishes the local existence theorem by using the method of a prior estimates, and obtains the structure of singularities of the solutions of such problems.

THE MIXED PROBLEM FOR DEGENERATE ELLIPTIC EQUATIONS OF SECOND ORDER

The present paper deals with the mixed boundary value problem for elliptic equations with degenerate rank 0. We first give the formulation of the problem and estimates of solutions of the problem, and then prove the existence of solutions of the above problem for elliptic equations by the above estimates and the method of parameter extension. We use the complex method, namely first discuss the corresponding problem for degenerate elliptic complex equations of first order, afterwards discuss the above problem for degenerate elliptic equations of second order

The Regularity of Solutions to Mixed Boundary Value Problems of Second-Order Elliptic Equations with Small Angles

This paper considers the regularity of solutions to mixed boundary value problems in small-angle regions for elliptic equations. By constructing a specific barrier function, we proved that under the assumption of sufficient regularity of boundary conditions and coefficients, as long as the angle is sufficiently small, the regularity of the solution to the mixed boundary value problem of the second-order elliptic equation can reach any order.

Eigenvalues of Elliptic Systems for the Mixed Problem in Perturbations of Lipschitz Domains with Nonhomogeneous Neumann Boundary Conditions

We study eigenvalues of an elliptic operator with mixed boundary conditions on very general decompositions of the boundary.We impose nonhomogeneous conditions on the part of the boundary where the Neumann term lies in a certain Sobolev or Lp space.Our work compares the behavior of and gives a relationship between the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions on the unperturbed and perturbed domains,respectively.

Generalized mixed equilibrium problem in Banach spaces

This paper uses a hybrid algorithm to find a common element of the set of solutions to a generalized mixed equilibrium problem, the set of solutions to variational inequality problems, and the set of common fixed points for a finite family of quasi-C- nonexpansive mappings in a uniformly smooth and strictly convex Banach space. As applications, we utilize our results to study the optimization problem. It shows that our results improve and extend the corresponding results announced by many others recently.

A NEW CLASS OF BILEVEL GENERALIZED MIXED EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEMS IN BANACH SPACES

A new class of bilcvel generalized mixed equilibrium problems involving setvalued mappings is introduced and studied in a real Banach space. By using the auxiliary principle technique, new iterative algorithms for solving the generalized mixed equilibrium problems and bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problems involving set-valued mappings are suggested and analyzed. Existence of solutions and strong convergence of the iterative sequences generated by the algorithms are proved under quite mild conditions. The behavior of the solution set of the generalized mixed equilibrium problems and bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problems is also discussed. These results are new and generalize some recent results in this field.

A MIXED ELECTRIC BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR AN ANTI-PLANE PIEZOELECTRIC CRACK

The analytical continuation method is adopted to solve a mixed electric boundary value problem for a piezoelectric medium under anti-plane deformation.The crack face is partly conductive and partly impermeable.The results show that the stress intensity factor is identical with the mode Ⅲ stress intensity factor independent of the conducting length.But the electric field and the electric displacement are dependent on the electric boundary conditions on the crack faces and are singular not only at the crack tips but also at the junctures between the impermeable part and conducting portions.

GLOBAL EXISTENCE OF WEAKLY DISCONTINUOUS SOLUTIONS TO A KIND OF MIXED INITIAL-BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR QUASILINEAR HYPERBOLIC SYSTEMS

In this paper, the mixed initial-boundary value problem for general first order quasi- linear hyperbolic systems with nonlinear boundary conditions in the domain D = {（t, x） ｜ t ≥ 0, x ≥0} is considered. A sufficient condition to guarantee the existence and uniqueness of global weakly discontinuous solution is given.

THE MIXED BOUNDARY-VALUE PROBLEM FOR NON-LOCAL ASYMMETRIC ELASTICITY

In this paper, the equations of motion and all boundary conditions as well as the energy equation for non_local asymmetric elasticity are derived together from the complete principles of virtual work and virtual power as well as the generalized Piola theorem. Adding the boundary conditions presented here to the results by Gao Jian and Dai Tianmin,the mixed boundary_value problem of the non_local asymmetric linear elasticity are formulated.

AN ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR A MIXED BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM OF CIRCULAR PLATES UNDER ARBITRARY LATERAL LOADS

In this paper by using the concept of mixed boundary funetions, an analytical method is proposed for a mixed boundary value problem of circular plates. The trial functions are constructed by using the series of particular solutions of the biharmonic equations in the polar coordinate system. Three examples are presented to show the stability and high convergence rate of the method.

PERIODIC BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS FOR NONLINEAR IMPULSIVEINTEGRODIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS OF MIXED TYPE IN BANACH SPACES

In this paper, the author obtains an existence theorem of minimal and maximal solutions for the periodic boundary value problems of nonlinear impulsive integrodifferential equations of mixed type in Banach space by means of the monotone iterative technique and cone theory based on a comparison result.

AN EFFICIENT METHOD FOR SOLVING THE MIXED DIRECT-INVERSE PROBLEM OF THE TRANSONIC ROTATIONAL FLOW IN PLANE CASCADES

The method in [1] has been extended to the case of rotational flow in this paper. A new method for dealing with the shock wave is presented. This method has the advantages of both the shock-fitting and the shock capturing methods. The direct problem and the mixed direct-inverse prob- lem of the rotational flow in a transonic plane cascade at both design and off design conditions are solved, and the results show that the present method has rapid convergence rate and high accuracy even for the flow with moderately strong shocks. The calculations have been carried out on the DPS-8 computer, and for the direct problem, only 50-80 iterations are needed, and 50-80 seconds of CPU time are required.

A NOTE ON PROBABILISTIC INTERPRETATION FOR QUASILINEAR MIXED BOUNDARY PROBLEMS

Solutions of quasilinear mixed boundary problems for the some parabolic an elliptic partial differential equations are interpreted as solutions of a kind of backward stochastic differential equations, which are associated with the classical Ito forward stochastic differential equations with reflecting boundary conditions.

Behavior of solution set for bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problems in topological vector spaces

A new bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problem （BGMEF） is introduced and studied in topological vector spaces. By using a minimax inequality, the existence of solutions and the behavior of solution set for the BGMEP are studied under quite mild conditions. These results are new and generalize some recent results in this field.

Bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problems involving generalized mixed variational-like inequality problems in reflexive Banach spaces

A new bilevel generalized mixed equilibrium problem （BGMEP） involving generalized mixed variational-like inequality problems （GMVLIPs） is introduced and studied in the reflexive Banach spaces. First, an auxiliary generalized mixed equilibrium problem （AGMEP） is introduced to compute the approximate solutions of the BGMEP involving the GMVLIPs. By using a minimax inequality, the existence and the unique- ness of solutions of the AGMEP are proved under mild conditions without any coercive assumptions. By using an auxiliary principle technique, the new iterative algorithms are proposed and analyzed, with which the approximate solutions of the BGMEP are computed. The strong convergence of the iterative sequence generated by the algorithms is shown under mild conditions without any coercive assumptions. These new results can generalize some recent results in this field.

Auxiliary principle and approximation solvability for system of new generalized mixed equilibrium problems in reflexive Banach spaces

A new system of generalized mixed equilibrium problems （SGMEPs） involving generalized mixed variational-like inequality problems is introduced and studied in reflexive Banach spaces. A system of auxiliary generalized mixed equilibrium problems （SAGMEPs） for solving the SGMEPs is first introduced. Existence and uniqueness of the solutions to the SAGMEPs is proved under quite mild assumptions without any coercive conditions in reflexive Banach spaces. Using the auxiliary principle technique, a new iterative algorithm for solving the SGMEPs is proposed and analyzed. Strong convergence of the iterative sequences generated by the algorithm is also proved under quite mild assumptions without any coercive conditions. These results improve, unify, and generalize some recent results in this field.

Existence and algorithm of solutions for a system of generalized mixed implicit equilibrium problems in Banach spaces

A new system of generalized mixed implicit equilibrium problems is introduced and studied in Banach spaces. First, the notion of the Yosida proximal mapping for generalized mixed implicit equilibrium problems is introduced. By using the notion, a system of generalized equation problems is considered, and its equivalence with the system of generalized mixed implicit equilibrium problems is also proved. Next, by applying the system of generalized equation problems, we suggest and analyze an iterative algorithm to compute the approximate solutions of the system of generalized mixed implicit equilibrium problems. The strong convergence of the iterative sequences generated by the algorithm is proved under quite mild conditions. The results are new and unify and generalize some recent results in this field.

PREDICTOR-CORRECTOR ALGORITHMS FOR SOLVING GENERALIZED MIXED IMPLICIT QUASI-EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEMS

A new class of generalized mixed implicit quasi-equilibrium problems （GMIQEP） with four-functions is introduced and studied. The new class of equilibrium problems includes many known generalized equilibrium problems and generalized mixed implicit quasi-variational inequality problems as many special cases. By employing the auxiliary principle technique, some predictor-corrector iterative algorithms for solving the GMIQEP are suggested and analyzed. The convergence of the suggested algorithm only requires the continuity and the partially relaxed implicit strong monotonicity of the mappings

Iterative algorithm of solutions for multivalued general mixed implicit equilibrium-like problems

The multivalued general mixed implicit equilibrium-like problems are introduced and studied. To solve these problems, a new predictor-corrector iterative algorithm is proposed and analyzed using the auxiliary principle technique. The convergence of the suggested algorithm is also proved in weaker conditions.

MIXED FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR THE CONVECTION-DOMINATED DIFFUSION PROBLEMS WITH SMALL PARAMETER ε

In this paper a mixed finite element method for the convection dominated diffusion problems with small parameter ε is presented,the effect of the parameter ε on the approximation error is considered and a sufficient condition for optimal error estimates is derived.The paper also shows that under some conditions,the standard finite element method only gives a bounded solution,however the mixed finite element method gives a convergent one.
