Unfolding Evolution Strategically in Integrated Studios of Building and Design to Innovative Grasp of Design Creativity

Instead of analogues, it is permitt... In emergence of design, it is undoubted to be informed from nature for how things get done. But in architecture, the students are not used to start up with biological investigation. Instead of analogues, it is permitted to pursue an evolvability systematics for built emerge. The systematics relies upon the key assumptions of Kirschner who sought the characteristics of biological evolution. For an integrated design thinking of an architectural mind, this is a methodological study, which strategically adapts living forms' evolvability capacity to built-forms' structural emergence. The study outlines the evolution strategy with experimental studios of building and design. The preceding systematic is taught in distinguished courses. It is purposed to build an easy-to-apply framework for how to generate novel structures and how the spatial structure units are organized to emerge with an imagined nature as novel tectonic model. Besides, building up structural thinking into the consilience of evolution strategy, the study is also distinguished for understanding the value system of architectural mind to diagnose the genuine character of inventive built form. Considering that the function-behavior-structure(... Computer-based conceptual design for routine design has made great strides, yet non-routine design has not been given due attention, and it is still poorly automated. Considering that the function-behavior-structure(FBS) model is widely used for modeling the conceptual design process, a computer-based creativity enhanced conceptual design model(CECD) for non-routine design of mechanical systems is presented. In the model, the leaf functions in the FBS model are decomposed into and represented with fine-grain basic operation actions(BOA), and the corresponding BOA set in the function domain is then constructed. Choosing building blocks from the database, and expressing their multiple functions with BOAs, the BOA set in the structure domain is formed. Through rule-based dynamic partition of the BOA set in the function domain, many variants of regenerated functional schemes are generated. For enhancing the capability to introduce new design variables into the conceptual design process, and dig out more innovative physical structure schemes, the indirect function-structure matching strategy based on reconstructing the combined structure schemes is adopted. By adjusting the tightness of the partition rules and the granularity of the divided BOA subsets, and making full use of the main function and secondary functions of each basic structure in the process of reconstructing of the physical structures, new design variables and variants are introduced into the physical structure scheme reconstructing process, and a great number of simpler physical structure schemes to accomplish the overall function organically are figured out. The creativity enhanced conceptual design model presented has a dominant capability in introducing new deign variables in function domain and digging out simpler physical structures to accomplish the overall function, therefore it can be utilized to solve non-routine conceptual design problem. 展开更多

Graphic design must rely on the sense of innovation, combined with the image of abstract thinking; ideas can really create unique designs. Therefore, to enhance training in graphic design innovative design capabilities, innovation and the development of graphic design is an important issue. Through systematic literature review,this study constructs a relationship model of the impact of inbound open innovation on firm innovation performance,and introduced two-dimensional business model design(novelty and efficiency)as mediation variables.It is preliminary confirmed theoretically that inbound open innovation has a positive impact on firm innovation performance,and the rationality of business model playing a mediation role in the relationship between inbound open innovation and innovation performance.Through questionnaire survey and empirical analysis,it is concluded that inbound open innovation has a positive impact on firm innovation performance;Two-dimensional business model design(novelty and efficiency)play a completely positive mediation role in the relationship between inbound open innovation and innovation performance.Based on these findings,this paper developed recommendations for future research. 展开更多

Innovation design for complex products is a difficult issue in the military manufacturing industry. Ontology may provide a feasible way to rebuild the design process for complex products via sharing and reusing of design knowledge. In this paper, a design method used in the innovation design process of the complex products with knowledge modeling is proposed. Knowledge modeling is realized through ontology construction by combining the cycling evolutional theory of constructing ontology and OWL (Ontology Web Language)-based knowledge representation. As a case study, the satellite is selected as one of the complex products. The application domain of the satellite ontology is analyzed. According to the analysis result, the knowledge structure of satellite ontology is put forward based on OWL. The application of satellite product design shows that the method can effectively organize and reuse the knowledge resources in the innovation design of complex product and help companies to create more competitive products based on the existing knowledge and experience. 展开更多

The main focus of this paper is the analysis on how social business recent management proposals fit to a media/journalistic business environment. The discussion was based on three research questions focusing on: the drivers and the constraints of disruption innovation strategies; the adequate social business design framework to promote innovation; and an evaluation over the practices/experiences related to disruption, innovation, and creativity in journalistic businesses. A conceptual framework the Latour/Law Actor-Network Theory (ANT) has been taken as. Six possible dimensions of action to make this framework valuable some successful practices have also been identified, and in this paper the authors view over these concepts. The main conclusion goes through the understanding of journalistic culture and legitimacy embedded for centuries over society, and to change this will depend on multiple enablers. 展开更多

目的为了提升民族特色文创产品的设计表达水平,构建从“产品”到“生活”的有效链接,减少设计中民族文化知识利用率低、产品组织结构与源文化逻辑不连贯等问题,引入可拓创新模式构建民族特色文创产品设计评价模型。方法从盘瑶文化的多... 目的为了提升民族特色文创产品的设计表达水平,构建从“产品”到“生活”的有效链接,减少设计中民族文化知识利用率低、产品组织结构与源文化逻辑不连贯等问题,引入可拓创新模式构建民族特色文创产品设计评价模型。方法从盘瑶文化的多维语义出发,按照“文化要素+创意语言”的方式构建基元模型。通过因子分析建立评价指标,为克服文创产品评价中单一评价方法的局限性,引入一种融合主客观的博弈论组合赋权法求解指标的综合权重,根据权重结果筛选出优度较高的设计元素,结合可拓图解和要素关联,生成科学而有效的创意设计方案。结果该方法能够提升文创产品设计过程中元素运用的准确度和优度,为从设计构思到元素转化搭建完整的路径,也为民族文化创新设计提供了新的思路。结论可拓学的引入把设计视角从“物”转向了“事”,对设计思维过程进行形式化推导,转变了设计半经验化与黑箱化的思维现状,帮助设计师选择创新思维的方向,形成具有创意的设计方案。 展开更多
