Observation on the Effect of Health Education in Health Management of Chronic Disease Patients

Objective: By the end of 2021, the aging rate of China’s population is 18.9%, and the prevalence rate of chronic diseases in the elderly population is increasing year by year, and chronic diseases have become the main causes of death and health threats of Chinese residents. Therefore, how to manage this huge group well is crucial. This paper analyzes the value of health education in the process of health management for patients with chronic diseases. Methods: 102 patients with chronic diseases treated from January 2021 to December 2021 were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method. The control group was given routine health management while the experimental group was given health education based on the control group, and the implementation effect was analyzed. Results: After management, the scores of chronic disease knowledge in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the dimensions of ESCA were higher than those in the control group, and P < 0.05;Conclusion: The implementation of health education in the process of chronic disease health management is helpful to improve patients’ self-care ability and better control disease progression. 展开更多

Teaching strategies can be considered as techniques that are constructed to be used with the objective of promoting teaching and learning in the classroom, so that the teacher is considered a mentor, as he is the one who selects, analyzes, studies, organizes, builds and proposes the most classic tools to facilitate the learning process [1]. This study is an experience report related to the construction of an educational product that consists of the elaboration of pedagogical strategies, characterized by five didactic sequences in the perspective of collaborating with teaching-learning processes in lato sensu graduate courses. The themes that are part of the didactic sequences were built based on the results obtained in scientific research carried out during the development of the strict sensu postgraduate course in Teaching in Health and Technology, which involved: the work of coordinators who work in the field of health management in Primary Care, situations that challenge the management of Primary Care and the potentialities of work in the management of Primary Care. The didactic sequences have fun teaching strategies that provide meaningful learning for a future qualified professional performance. These sequences involve the use of active methodologies and the use of digital tools. The educational product developed seeks to promote benefits that can collaborate with the improvement of Primary Care Management and teaching-learning processes in the training of health professionals. Therefore, the pedagogical strategies, as well as its entire construction process, were developed through the collaboration of professors of the Health and Society discipline at the State University of Health Sciences of Alagoas (UNCISAL), seeking to make it qualify for effective construction of knowledge and that promote its wide use in the academic environment. 展开更多

Methods: Community residents were selected to detect, collate and analyze the social demographic information, body mass index, fasting blood glucose and blood lipid level of diabetic patients before and after health management. Results: The study showed that after the implementation of health management education in the community, the detection rate of diabetes patients increased, but the population was no longer mainly elderly patients, but mainly people under 60 years old. The levels of body mass index, fasting blood glucose, triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) were significantly decreased (all P Conclusion: Through the investigation of patients before and after health management in residential communities, this study shows that the correct implementation of health management can effectively improve the physiological indicators of diabetes patients, improve the level of health quality, and provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of diabetes patients in communities. 展开更多

Objective: To define the role of health education in improving patient compliance with Zoledronic Acid for osteoporosis treatment and management and draw closer attention of patients and physicians to the importance of health education. Methods: A total of 198 postmenopausal patients with osteoporosis who were admitted by the osteoporosis outpatient clinic of our hospital and had the first administration of Zoledronic Acid in 2015 were invited to participate in the follow-up visit that involved questions concerning the frequency of health education and the questionnaire survey on osteoporosis in 2015 and the administration of Zoledronic Acid during the past three years. The patients were divided into five groups according to the frequency of health education to compare the survey results of each group in 2015 and 2018 and investigate the differences in the scores and frequency of administration among the five groups. Results: Among the 198 patients, there were 182 attending the follow-up visit. In terms of the frequency of health education (FREQ = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4), these patients were divided into five groups of 47, 63, 35, 18 and 19 members respectively. After three years of treatment, the questionnaire score of each group was higher than the pre-treatment level and the difference showed statistical significance (p Conclusion: Health education is an effective approach to influence a patient’s knowledge connected to relevant diseases in a positive way and improve patient compliance with Zoledronic Acid treatment. Influence of education training in patients with type 2 diabetes in the improvement of lifestyle and biochemical characteristics: a randomized controlled trial 被引量:1

Objective: The objective of this randomized controlled trial study was to evaluate the education training in relation to lifestyle improvement in patients with type 2 diabetes through its influence in the levels of glycated hemoglobin(HbA1 c), blood pressure, triglyceride, cholesterol levels, and body mass index(BMI).Methods: The study included patients with type 2 diabetes randomly selected from 20 residential areas in Tirana, Albania where family physicians provide services. The sample size in total was 200 patients in both groups(control and intervention). The education training(four sessions) was conducted by trained nursing staff for 6 months. Patients were screened for the biochemical profile before and after the intervention. To compare the groups with respect to the interest outcomes, the t-test was used. The value of P < 0.05 was considered significant.Results: There were 104 male patients and 96 female patients. The mean age was 54.9 ± 8.7. No significant differences were found between the study groups in relation to clinical and biochemical data before the education sessions. After the intervention, in the intervention group, the mean level of HbA1 c was significantly lower than the value in the control group(6.2% vs 6.8%, P = 0.001) as well as for the mean values of BMI. The mean reduction(more than 15%) in HbA1 c after the intervention was 43% in the intervention group and 2% in the control group(OR = 36.9, P < 0.05). Differences in BMI, HbA1 c, triglycerides, and cholesterol were more significantly visible in the intervention group. However, the difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure values was almost the same(P > 0.05).Conclusions: The results of this study further support that the approach for education of patients with type 2 diabetes on changing lifestyle benefit the patient in controlling diabetes. It is believed that the establishment of diabetes education classes in health centers is an important investment in improving the management of type 2 diabetes. 展开更多

While seen as an essential tool for promoting population health awareness to improve early detection and treatment of chronic diseases, it is yet to be emphasized in most African countries. Health literacy is an essential practice to promote chronic disease prevention and reduce the growing threat to population health. Incidences and mortalities from chronic diseases commonly arise from limited knowledge of the causative risk factors and access to health facilities. Without knowledge about causes, health impacts, and available health services, people continue to indulge in the habits that worsen their health conditions and fail to access care timely. By using health literacy and awareness as a tool for chronic disease prevention, healthcare professionals will develop strategic health awareness programs that fit the socio-demographics of the population they serve. This article explored the significant role health awareness occupies in individual and community health prevention through health promotion and education. It reviewed the concept and dimensions of chronic disease prevention, cultural beliefs and impact on chronic diseases, gaps created by low health literacy, and the significance of health literacy in disease prevention and health promotion. Furthermore, it recommends that health systems and local communities form partnerships to address common and emerging health problems, and health systems should be properly funded. 展开更多

背景老年慢性病患者记忆力与生活自理能力逐渐下降,仅依靠其个人力量进行疾病的自我管理难以达到良好效果,需要更多来自他人的帮助。在对老年慢性病患者进行健康教育时不能仅单独面向老年人,更需要充分利用患者的社会网络,让其社会网络... 背景老年慢性病患者记忆力与生活自理能力逐渐下降,仅依靠其个人力量进行疾病的自我管理难以达到良好效果,需要更多来自他人的帮助。在对老年慢性病患者进行健康教育时不能仅单独面向老年人,更需要充分利用患者的社会网络,让其社会网络成员参与到老年患者的疾病管理中,以更有效地提高患者的自我管理能力。目的探讨基于患者社会网络的健康教育对社区老年慢性病患者自我管理能力的影响。方法招募2021年3月—2022年6月在北京方庄社区卫生服务中心、清华长庚医院门诊、北京医院内分泌门诊就诊及红联村社区的老年慢性病患者,采用电脑生成的随机数字表,将患者按照招募入组的顺序各自进行编号,奇数为干预组,偶数为对照组,按照1∶1随机分为干预组和对照组,干预组给予老年患者+其社会网络成员健康教育,对照组给予患者健康教育,干预周期12个月;在干预前、干预第6个月、干预第12个月应用慢性病自我管理研究测量表(CDSMS)评估慢性病自我管理的效果,使用Lubben社会网络量表简表(LSNS-6)测评患者社会网络水平。结果80例患者入组,其中1例患者(对照组)因研究期间两次住院退出研究,最终79列患者完成研究:干预组患者40例+其社会网络成员40例,对照组39例。CDSMS自我管理行为分量表的运动锻炼维度、认知性症状管理维度及自我效能分量表的时间与分组存在交互作用(F交互分别为7.174、8.488、9.939,P<0.05);时间在CDSMS两个分量表上主效应显著(F时间分别是13.527、12.188、7.576、5.058,P<0.05);分组在CDSMS自我管理行为分量表的三个维度上主效应显著(F分组分别是12.324、7.383、5.927,P<0.05)。干预第6个月,干预组CDSMS运动锻炼维度得分高于对照组(t=2.852,P=0.006);干预第12个月,干预组CDSMS运动锻炼维度得分高于对照组(t=4.473,P<0.05)、认知性症状管理维度得分高于对照组(t=-2.780,P=0.005)、自我效能分量表得分高于对照组(t=2.993,P=0.004)。结论为期12个月的基于患者社会网络的健康教育,可改善老年慢性病患者的部分自我管理行为,提高自我效能水平。 展开更多

目的探讨健康教育与慢性病管理护理在社区老年高血压中的应用效果。方法选取2021年1月—2023年1月本院纳入的60例老年高血压患者,由抽签分组(30例/组),常规管理纳入对比组,联合管理(健康教育、慢病管理)纳入试验组,探究两组应用差异。... 目的探讨健康教育与慢性病管理护理在社区老年高血压中的应用效果。方法选取2021年1月—2023年1月本院纳入的60例老年高血压患者,由抽签分组(30例/组),常规管理纳入对比组,联合管理(健康教育、慢病管理)纳入试验组,探究两组应用差异。结果试验组的SBP、DBP、SAS、SDS更低,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);试验组血压正常范围、并发症、高危因素、健康生活方式等疾病认知水平评分更高,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);试验组的戒烟酒、监测血压、饮食控制、规律用药、规律运动等自我管理良好率均更高,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论联合管理可以改善情绪,也可显著提高认知水平和自我管理水平,以显著降低血压,可获取更好的社区老年高血压管理效果。 展开更多

目的:探讨斯金纳健康教育结合ABC情绪管理模式对中老年高血压病人自我管理的效果。方法:采用方便抽样法选取2021年1月—2022年4月在某三级甲等医院高血压科住院治疗的220例中老年原发性高血压病人作为研究对象,采用单盲法、按照住院时... 目的:探讨斯金纳健康教育结合ABC情绪管理模式对中老年高血压病人自我管理的效果。方法:采用方便抽样法选取2021年1月—2022年4月在某三级甲等医院高血压科住院治疗的220例中老年原发性高血压病人作为研究对象,采用单盲法、按照住院时间先后顺序将研究对象分为试验组和对照组,各110例。对照组给予常规健康教育,试验组在对照组的基础上,给予斯金纳健康教育结合ABC情绪管理模式,比较两组病人干预前、干预1个月、干预3个月、干预6个月后血压水平、疾病知识掌握程度、自我感受负担和自我管理行为。结果:剔除脱落病人,最终试验组纳入105例、对照组105例。重复测量方差分析结果显示,不考虑测量时间,两组病人的血压水平、知识掌握程度、自我感受负担、自我管理行为的主效应差异均有统计学意义(P<0.001);不考虑分组,不同时间的两组病人的血压水平、知识掌握程度、自我感受负担、自我管理行为主效应差异有统计学意义(P<0.001);分组和时间因素存在交互效应,试验组和对照组在不同时间点血压水平、知识掌握程度、自我感受负担、自我管理行为变化趋势存在差异(P<0.001)。简单效应分析显示,干预1个月、3个月、6个月后试验组血压水平、知识掌握程度、自我感受负担、自我管理行为均优于对照组(P<0.001)。结论:将斯金纳健康教育结合ABC情绪管理模式应用于中老年高血压病人的健康教育,在降低病人血压的同时,有助于提高病人知识的掌握程度及对疾病的自我管理能力,减轻病人的自我感受负担。 展开更多

目的探讨基于混合现实技术的液体管理健康教育在青少年神经源性膀胱患者中的应用效果。方法将80例青少年神经源性膀胱患者随机分为干预组和对照组各40例。对照组使用宣教册进行常规液体管理健康教育,干预组采用混合现实技术进行液体管... 目的探讨基于混合现实技术的液体管理健康教育在青少年神经源性膀胱患者中的应用效果。方法将80例青少年神经源性膀胱患者随机分为干预组和对照组各40例。对照组使用宣教册进行常规液体管理健康教育,干预组采用混合现实技术进行液体管理健康教育。比较两组液体管理依从性、自我管理水平、出院后2个月内泌尿系感染发生率及患者监护人满意度。结果干预后,干预组液体管理依从性、自我管理得分及患者监护人满意度显著高于对照组(均P<0.05);干预组出院后2个月内泌尿系感染发生率为20.00%,较对照组低(27.50%),但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论基于混合现实技术的健康教育有助于改善青少年神经源性膀胱患者健康相关行为和提高监护人的满意度,相对减少出院2个月内泌尿系感染。 展开更多
