A Multi-Agent Immune Network Algorithm and Its Application to Murphree Efficiency Determination for the Distillation Column

Artificial Immune Network (aiNet) algorithms have become popular for global optimization in many modem industrial applications. However, high-dimensional systems using such models suffer from a potential premature convergence problem. In the existing aiNet algorithms, the premature convergence problem can be avoided by implementing various clonal selection methods, such as immune suppression and mutation approaches, both for single population and multi-population cases. This paper presents a new Multi-Agent Artificial Immune Network (Ma-aiNet) algorithm, which combines immune mechanics and multiagent technology, to overcome the premature convergence problem in high-dimensional systems and to efficiently use the agent ability of sensing and acting on the environment. Ma-aiNet integrates global and local search algorithms. The perform- ance of the proposed method is evaluated using 10 benchmark problems, and the results are compared with other well-known intelligent algorithms. The study demonstrates that Ma-aiNet outperforms other algorithms tested. Ma-aiNet is also used to determine the Murphree efficiency of a distillation column with satisfactory results. 展开更多

A series of well-designed deflectors were used to regulate the liquid flow behaviour on the 95-Ⅱ tray. A multiple-plug flow pattern was observed in each liquid flow channel between two deflectors on the tray.On a test rig with a diameter of 1000 mm, the liquid layer temperature profiles in the vertical and horizontal directions were measured by resistivity thermal detectors(RTDs).An oxygen desorption experiment was carried out and the oxygen concentration in the inlet liquid and the outlet liquid were determined by iodimetry,through which the liquid phrase Murphree tray efficiency(E ML) was calculated. The results show that the well-designed and placed deflectors on the tray can obviously increase the tray efficiency by almost 30% under the same operating conditions. 展开更多

以氨法吸收CO2过程为研究对象,针对气液两相之间传热/传质及反应模型的区别,对比了RK(rate-based,kinetic),RC(rate-based,chemistry),EK(equilibrium-based,kinetic)and EC(equilibrium-based,chemistry)4种模型对CO2吸收过程中CO2吸... 以氨法吸收CO2过程为研究对象,针对气液两相之间传热/传质及反应模型的区别,对比了RK(rate-based,kinetic),RC(rate-based,chemistry),EK(equilibrium-based,kinetic)and EC(equilibrium-based,chemistry)4种模型对CO2吸收过程中CO2吸收速率、富液碳化度、出口NH3浓度等关键目标参数的预测能力。模拟结果显示,RK模型对氨法CO2吸收过程具有最佳的预测能力。引入Murphree效率可修正基于平衡的模型对气液两相间传热/传质的预测,但是需要考虑到Murphree效率因组分而异并能逐级改变的局限。通过对Kinetic反应模型中动力学反应的敏感性分析发现,氨法吸收二氧化碳的过程主要受下述反应控制:NH3+CO2+H2O→NH2COO-+H3O+。 展开更多

The tests were carried out using an air-water/oxygen experimental system in a column with a diameter of 500 mm. The hydrodynamic parameters studied were dry plate pressure drop, wet plate pressure drop, weeping, entrainment, and Murphree liquid effi ciency. The results showed that the NRST has excellent performance in terms of high operational fl exibility. The pressure drop, weeping rate, and entrainment rate remained low even under a high-capacity operation. Correlations of pressure drop, weeping, and entrainment for the NRST were obtained by regression analysis. The results can provide some important theoretical guidance for the development of this type of trays. 展开更多
