Objective The National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC)has made great progress in promoting the development of aortic dissection research in recent years.This study aimed to examine the development and research status of aortic dissection research in China so as to provide references for future research.Methods The NSFC projects data from 2008 to 2019 were collected from the Internet-based Science Information System and other websites utilized as search engines.The publications and citations were retrieved by Google Scholar,and the impact factors were checked by the InCite Journal Citation Reports database.The investigator’s degree and department were identified from the institutional faculty profiles.Results A total of 250 grant funds totaling 124.3 million Yuan and resulting in 747 publications were analyzed.The funds in economically developed and densely populated areas were more than those in underdeveloped and sparsely populated areas.There was no significant difference in the amount of funding per grant between different departments’investigators.However,the funding output ratios of the grants for cardiologists were higher than those for basic science investigators.The amount of funding for clinical researchers and basic scientific researchers in aortic dissection was also similar.Clinical researchers were better in terms of the funding output ratio.Conclusion These results suggest that the medical and scientific research level of aortic dissection in China has been greatly improved.However,there are still some problems that urgently need to be solved,such as the unreasonable regional allocation of medical and scientific research resources,and the slow transition from basic science to clinical practice. 展开更多

基于ROTI和AATR的测地型GNSS接收机监测北半球高纬度区域电离层闪烁准确性分析

当前,第25个太阳周期已进入强活跃时期,能引发大量电离层不规则体,进而对使得穿行其中的GNSS信号产生电离层闪烁。这已成为影响GNSS全球稳定导航定位服务的重要干扰源。对全球电离层闪烁进行广泛且全面的监测是消除闪烁对GNSS干扰的重... 当前,第25个太阳周期已进入强活跃时期,能引发大量电离层不规则体,进而对使得穿行其中的GNSS信号产生电离层闪烁。这已成为影响GNSS全球稳定导航定位服务的重要干扰源。对全球电离层闪烁进行广泛且全面的监测是消除闪烁对GNSS干扰的重要前提,然而传统电离层闪烁监测接收机(ISMR)分布有限,无法满足闪烁全球监测需求;测地型接收机分布广泛,但从其低采样数据中提取的闪烁因子缺乏新太阳周期长时序监测数据验证,导致其闪烁监测可靠性存疑。为此,本文基于近3 a新太阳周期测地型接收机数据,以ISMR提供的闪烁因子为参考,从代表性空间天气事件闪烁响应、日闪烁发生率、闪烁持续时间概率分布、闪烁日发生规律及其随极昼、极夜、地磁指数的特征变化等方面,对比研究了两种测地型接收机电离层闪烁因子(即电离层总电子含量变化率指数ROTI和沿弧段电子含量变化率指数AATR)监测北极高纬度区域电离层闪烁的准确性,并给出了ROTI和AATR在高纬度区域判断闪烁发生的经验阈值。结果表明,ROTI和AATR均能较为准确探测到地磁扰动、太阳活动等因素驱动的区域电离层闪烁,并能有效表征电离层闪烁统计学上的日变化规律,但两种闪烁因子不能准确区分闪烁和电离层电子密度梯度变化,导致在电子密度梯度变化剧烈期间存在较高虚警。该研究成果可为准确选择区域电离层闪烁监测因子提供指导。 展开更多

系统梳理分析2022年国家自然科学基金心血管领域中、西医学面上项目、青年科学基金项目和地区科学基金项目3类常规项目的申请和资助情况、所涉及主要病种、研究热点和研究思路。结果显示,两个领域研究的主要病种相似,研究热点也基本一... 系统梳理分析2022年国家自然科学基金心血管领域中、西医学面上项目、青年科学基金项目和地区科学基金项目3类常规项目的申请和资助情况、所涉及主要病种、研究热点和研究思路。结果显示,两个领域研究的主要病种相似,研究热点也基本一致。均以动脉粥样硬化、冠心病、心力衰竭、高血压、继发性心肌损伤和心律失常为主,主要开展表观遗传学、外泌体、细胞焦亡或铁死亡、细胞自噬、肠道微生物群以及线粒体功能方面的研究,思路呈现多样化的特点。但西医心血管领域的病种更为广泛,还包括心脏移植等中医心血管领域不涉及的病种。在科学问题导向和研究内容方面,中医心血管领域要求在中医药理论的指导下,以解决中医学科的关键科学问题为导向,体现中医药的特色。此外,研究热点只是探索科学问题的技术手段,应深入凝练科学问题,避免盲目追求结合研究热点反而缺乏了创新性思想和科学依据,鼓励原创性基础研究。 展开更多

近十年NSF资助率和资助强度上升对我国科学基金资助工作的启示

美国国家科学基金会(National Science Foundation,U.S.,NSF)2022财年预算为88.4亿美元,比2021财年拨款增长4.1%,创历史新高。NSF官网数据显示,资助率从2013年的22%稳步提高到2022年的28%,平均资助强度也从52.5万美元/项增至80.6万美元... 美国国家科学基金会(National Science Foundation,U.S.,NSF)2022财年预算为88.4亿美元,比2021财年拨款增长4.1%,创历史新高。NSF官网数据显示,资助率从2013年的22%稳步提高到2022年的28%,平均资助强度也从52.5万美元/项增至80.6万美元/项。统计数据显示,NSF资助率稳步上升可归因于每年申请量从近50000项逐渐下降至40000项左右,而资助项目量维持在11000项左右;平均资助强度的提高得益于NSF在维持资助项目量不变的同时,年度预算大幅提高,从约60亿美元增加至接近90亿美元。本文基于近十年NSF总体资助变化,提出对我国科学基金资助工作启示,认为我国应该持续加大基础研究投入以提高自然科学基金资助率,将科研人才红利转化为高质量发展的动力,在大国科技竞争中占据有利地位。 展开更多

分析国家自然科学基金项目的资助情况对科研管理工作的进一步提升具有重要意义。本文对广东某大型重点综合医院2011—2022年科学基金项目的申请资助情况进行描述性分析,包括申请项目类别、所属学科、负责人年龄、职称、性别等。研究结... 分析国家自然科学基金项目的资助情况对科研管理工作的进一步提升具有重要意义。本文对广东某大型重点综合医院2011—2022年科学基金项目的申请资助情况进行描述性分析,包括申请项目类别、所属学科、负责人年龄、职称、性别等。研究结果显示,“十二五”以来,该医院共申请国自然项目2791项,获批项目522项。申报数和资助数的年均增速保持稳定,资助总额逐渐增长,且以青年项目和面上项目为资助主体。该医院在消化系统、肿瘤学、神经系统等领域的资助表现乐观,显示出学科优势。通过SWOT分析方法,我们对医院的科研资助与管理工作进行了态势分析,提出科研项目精细化管理、跨学科交叉融合建设以及人才培育的具体建议。这些系统性的梳理和建议对同类型综合医院的学科发展和人才培养有重要参考价值。 展开更多

Objective This study explains the application number and funding rate of oncology projects undertaken by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC),with focus on tumor radiotherapy-related research over the past 11 years.Methods A stratified analysis was carried out on the application and funding status of tumor radiotherapy studies in different NSFC project categories,different research areas,and different tumor types.Research areas that required specific focus,such as immunology-related radiotherapy,multimodality imaging and radiomics,and post-radiotherapy organ injury,were separately analyzed.Results The status and development trends of various related research fields were studied,and the research results were presented with the support of the NSFC,in order to provide reference for future applications and funding allocations.Conclusion The number of applications for funding increases every year.Although the total number of funded projects has also increased every year,the funding rate has decreased year by year.Projects on radiotherapy and immunization have been at the forefront in recent years,and the funding rate for these projects increases yearly. 展开更多

It concludes that China’s NIS has evolved from weak to strong, from a follower groping its way onto the track of independent innovation with Chinese characteristics. China’s innovation system has experienced a trajectory from “introduction and imitation of complete sets of technology” to “market for technology and imitative innovation,” to “integrated and secondary innovation” and on to “integrated, secondary, collaborative and original innovation combined.” The path of independent innovation with Chinese characteristics is a natural choice of economic, societal, and technological development in the new era. 展开更多

The National Supreme Science and Technology Award in 2006 goes to Prof. LI Zhensheng, a geneticist from the CAS Institute of Genetics & Developmental Biology. At the Awarding Ceremony held on 27 February in Beijing, Prof. Li, also a CAS member, received the certificate for the prestigious award, which comes with a five million yuan (about $650,000) prize, from Chinese President HU Jintao. Nationwide, 326 research projects were honored with the 2006 national S&T awards, including 29 with the National Award for Natural Sciences (two first prizes and 27 second ones); 56 with the National Award for Technological Invention (one first prize and 55 second ones) and 241 with the National Award for Science and Technology Progress (one special prize, 20 first prizes and 220 second ones). Among the 326 projects, 30 were headed by CAS scientists. They include 12 winning the second prize of the National Award for Natural Sciences, five winning the second prize of the National Award for Technological Invention and 13 winning the National Award for Science and Technology Progress (two first prizes and 11 second ones). 展开更多

This study was designed to observe and compare the circadian fluctuations in tactile sense, joint reposition sense and two-point discrimination in healthy subjects. Twenty-one healthy adult subjects received perceptual ability tests through these three different sensory modules at approximately 9:00, 13:00 and 18:00 in a day. The distribution of ranking for perceptual ability was significantly different among the three different time points in each individual, with highest perceptual ability in the evening compared with noon and morning, in terms of tactile sense and two-point discrimination. These findings suggest that the perceptual ability of healthy subjects fluctuates according to the time points in a day. 展开更多

The issues are industry related investment fields distribution, the trend of capitalization movement, and investment style factors in stock selection. The results show that there are risk problems with portfolios entrusted by NSSF, which include similar investment fields distribution trend, little difference among portfolios, and high risk preference degree. 展开更多
